This place used to be beautiful but it was allowed to go back to nature and the animals disappeared. Likewise, you could see across the pond and its just tall grass now. However, if youre lucky the elk have been coming for water more frequently.

Wonderful flat trail to get some nature in. Elk frequent the lake at night and the bird song is really beautiful. With all of the wild cherry trees i bet it is stunning when in blossom. They have portable toilets along the trail as well as trash cans and a dog poop bag dispenser at the beginning. Saw some signs of a predator with large piles of feathers on a couple spots.

Even though the pond is now wetlands, this is a great place to walk and enjoy nature, especially all the birds. And the wild blackberries are delicious.
