Definitely not what I expected. This is a museum run by people who have a passion for the Grand Army of the Republic. See all sorts of civil war memorabilia. Ask questions. Learn something new. I highly recommend visiting this gem.
Really nice museum, just down from the Lincoln home
Small but packed with information. And a friendly and knowledgable staff person there. Left knowing more about the GAR than I ever dreamed possible..
A lot to see and read. Excellent collection.
Enjoyable 30 minutes
Recently reopened. This is a wonderful Victorian museum now moving into the 21st century. Now on display the drum of the last reville at Appomattox.
Small museum thats worthy of a stop especially for history buffs.
A really small museum, run strictly by volunteers and donations, which honors Civil War vets. Check hours and days open.
Teachers love this small museum.
