I watched an All-Star hockey League game here. These kids played their heart out and played with a lot of class. I love the facility

The swimming pool at Nelson Center was very disappointing. The toddler pool was filthy and the lifeguards stood over my 3 year old grandson even though there were three adults within arms reach of him. An older child was allowed to go up the slide and run around and cut in front of other kids. A bunch of lifeguards all sat at the side of the building yelling “walk” at kids that were with their parents. Kids can’t wear swim shoes in the toddler pool, but the pool has rocks on the bottom. When we first got there, my husband fished trash out of the pool. Maybe some of those lifeguards sitting around could be sent to clean the pool. The atmosphere was not fun. We won’t go back there.

This is a great place to take your family. You have an 1 1/2 to skate. Ice is well maintained and it is not too crowded. They also offer plenty of walkers for beginners.

Swimming at the park pool. Nice kiddie pool. Plenty of life guards on duty. Minimal fees.

Nice place to hang but if you are there to watch hockey you might be a little dissatisfied.

Honestly speaking I really only use this place for the bathroom when Im at Lincoln Park. But it seems like a nice and popular establishment.

Its a decent ice facility, Ice is very hard.. you will need to sharpen your skates shortly after skating here.

Went for interview that Im fully qualified for, but was turned down. I believe it was because Im older and handicapped!

We absolutely love going here to see the Jr Blues play hockey during the hockey season. The staff are wonderful and the games are guaranteed to always be exciting.

Very disappointed in the aquatic center. The toddler pool was disgusting...full of bugs!!! Yuck! The slide in the toddler pool is in extremely poor condition and barely usuable. They would not let my child use the slide in the main pool because he had swimmies/puddle jumper on even though he is 4 ft tall. Those restrictions were NOT posted. I would think it would be encouraged to wear a life vest,swimmie, or puddle jumper for the additional safety of my child!!! I would rather spend and additional $30 and enjoy 6 times more slides at Knights Action park. Futhermore, the womens locker room is disgusting...wear shoes and spray lysol if you walk through it! Last but not least, there is only about 10 lounge chairs. On a hot crowded day, sitting on the concrete is not desirable. We will NEVER be back.

There is never any staff on the ice. No one knows which direction to go. Kids are chucking those walkers around. For the amount of money you buy there should be some kind of staff member on the ice making everyone follow the rules!!!!
