Nice place to fish at times !

Great place to office out of! Little fishing, little email. Ahhhh.

Very shallow, better for younger kids. You park right off the road and drivers go by quickly.

I love Peckers Beach.

Fun and clean area to let kids swim. Plenty of perch n bass to fish too.

Nice area if you can catch it when it isnt too crowded.

This used to be a great place to come have a picnic, see a pretty river and wildlife. Its gone down hill. It is now over ran by drunks and druggies. There is trash everywhere, needles and syringes left everywhere and tons of cars speeding by recklessly. Its become very dangerous to come here. Hopefully, the city will improve this place so the good people can enjoy it again!

Nice quiet place but fishing was no good :(

Down at the last parking spot theres a creek that runs into the river and it goes underneath the exposed roots of a huge sycamore. Absolutely gorgeous but I wouldnt recommend drinking it of it :). Ive seen some shady characters hanging out around there occasionally so I would recommend going there alone at night unless you know jujitsu.

Fun little gem hiding right outside of springfield. Great area to sit out by or splash in the water.

A good place to swim or fish near Springfield. The roads in the area are nice to drive on, and very scenic.

Love the areas. Absolutely beautiful. Wish people would pick up their trash.

Rocky but fun

Great convenient place to get to the river that is still close to town. There are multiple places to access the shore along the length of the area, very shady, a nice place. Itd be nicer if there were some trashcans available that might help curb the littering.

Great little spot. Can get crowded but its always a good time. Bring insect repellent, the horseflies are really bad in certain spots. Ive seen a few snakes but never had any trouble.

Had a great time on a date floating down here!

Little slice of heaven

Good put in for a day trip to Springfield Lake. Have been going here some 50 years.

Closest access available near town. Not uncommon to find dirty needles or diapers laying around. Just telling it like it is.

Water is very low-and fish are scarce for a while now, better luck farther down the River !!!
