A true gem of St. Joseph County. This smallish City Park is quiet, wooded, and peaceful .. and just one minute from Cleveland Road. A recent investment by South Bend has improved access to the water and added a multi-use path that rings the entire park. The Angel of Hope Memorial Park is a beautiful place of remembrance for families who have lost a child and is seamlessly integrated into the serene nature of this oasis of calm. We love it!!

Nice park and fishing area. My son loves the pier, it is easier for small kids to catch fish.

Becoming a way nicer park then use to be allot of big bass in there if you know how to catch em they can be little tricky

Pinhook Park has gotten new walking and bike trails-two fishing platforms-kayak and canoe launching platform for handicap people and boat launch-sorry no boat motors!!

As mentioned, the goose poo is abundant. It was still peaceful and my son and I found several decent fishing spots.

This was my first time visiting the Angel of Hope and we dedicated a brick to my nephew who recently passed. I was very impressed with what they have done to the park. I can remember as a child swimming out there. While it is no longer a swimming area its a very nice park to visit.

Today At Pinhook Park we enjoyed the RenFest 2019. It was a fantastic location for this sort of event. 10/10 Would do again.

A unique park with the lake but litter and goose poop is common and much of the playground equipment is older. We still include it in one of the parks we enjoy frequenting in the area. The hill is just the right size for our little ones to sled.

Good fishing if you are on a kayak. Spinners did the trick. White spoons were also good.

Love taking a walk through pinhook and throwing a line in the water. The dogs love to run too.

Pinhook Park hosts the annual Michiana Ren Fest. Its always a great experience, lots of fun with great people. The park itself is always clean during the fest, has one long path that runs from one end to the other, a large field, and a great view of (and access to) the water.

Very peaceful and very clean see people fishing there all the time.

Beautiful park with pavilion, playground, and memorial. You can rent the pavilion for parties (check South Bend Parks for pricing)... or use a provided grill to have a small bbq. Great place to walk around and explore. You can kayak/canoe/boat in the water.... would probably not swim though.

Not always taken care if like it should, but me and the dog like to take a walk out there.

Great place to fish, picnic or take the family. Pinhook has a nice crowd of friendly people that frequently go there and that adds to the peaceful and happy environment. All together its just a great place to go and have a good time.

Love it!!! My beloved daughter passed away in 2012 Pinhook Park was kind enough to place a brick in her memory along with many others we now call angels. Best place to go and just remember and let go for our loved ones.

I remember Pinhook when it had swimming and big crowds on the weekends. There hasnt been swimming for many years and maintenance of the trails has really slid. About all thats left now is the decaying trails and the pavilion, which appears OK from the outside. There are some restrooms open in the summer, but the concession stand is long gone. There are some swings and other things for kids that at least arent falling apart. Pinhook is a park that South Bend doesnt seem to care about anymore.

Great park and I enjoy coming here for the Michiana ren. Fair, but the walkway desperately needs Improvements for it is falling apart as we walk.Other than that, the park is gorgeous.

This park is near the wastewater treatment plant and it always used to smell. The park playground is closer to water level and although I havent been down to that area in quite some time, I remember the ground used to be marshy feeling and there was constant geese desecration.I generally dont find this to be a great park for the public but I do know there is a Memorial in the same parking lot which is a nice memorial and I do appreciate that facet of this area. But the park itself is of no real value to me.

Small park but well kept

Id really like to see South Bend incorporate addl monies towards revitalizing this park. It used to be a main attraction with life guards. Now, its overtaken by aggressive geese.

Michiana Nerf wars! Need I say more. LOL we love this place, we love the Michiana Nerf wars and we love nature also while youre there go on to geocaching . Com there is a great one there. Its a special one. And youll learn from it too! Also you can drop a boat in a kayak or canoe or regular boat with a motor and you can fish there! You can picnic. Theres a park for kids to play at theres also playground equipment for the little ones. Its a great place to go hang out in nature without being too far from your vehicle.

Great place very peacful

I was there for the ren-faire, fantastic location for this venue. The fact that they could have horses there improved the fair 100% and it was great before. The park is just beautiful.

Okay place to fish from land. Has a bit of algae close to shore. Has a boat launch, with plenty of room to fish from the boat. Center of water crystal clear.

Me and My Fiance come here to relax and walk and watch the geese.. Its a very relaxing park!
