This is my kids absolute favorite playground. We come here almost every time we go to the zoo. The park has a ton of picnic tables, multiple pavilion, a playground, splash pad, and outdoor concert venue. The park features and ton of trees, so lots of shade to offset the little amount of shade the zoo offers. As with any park, theres some trash, but its not overwhelming, just people being jerks. Like I said, we really like this park and all that it has the offer.

Love the kids kingdom. Tons to do and also well shaded. Good parking. Quite big.

They dont wipe the train down between rides. Because I enjoy not having COVID19, I wont ride the train with my family again.

Potawatomi Park has everything. Great covered picnic tables, excellent playground, fun splash pad, restroom facilities and lots of shady trees! The whole park is very accessible and great for all ages. We keep returning here because its perfectly situated next to the zoo and the public pool. Grab your cooler and eat outside!

The kids love all the options to stay active. So much to do here.

Great place to let the kids run around and play. Innovation play area and equipment. Awesome place for the dog lovers to visit. Dogs can interact or you can take the off through the grass. Others here are extremely friendly and seem to be enjoying the company of everyone around, from the kids to the parents and even the doggie members of the family. I strongly recommend visiting!!

Listening to the AMAZING South Bend Symphony Orchestra while enjoying a picnic with my wife in Potawatomi Park. You literally couldnt ask for a better night.

This park is not open. It has yellow caution tape around all equipment. Google maps says its open, but it is NOT.

Great park with multiple places for children to play. Nice and well maintained play structures for them to play on. Picnic areas to eat, a splash pad and pool all located there. There is also a zoo nearby. Plenty of trees for shade on hot days. Also plenty of parking.

Upkeep needs to get on the ball. Kids have fun, make new friends. Safe.

Perfit 1st time. Plenty of shade, nice breeze and good interaction with the Lamas for the kids. Then went to water park next door for kids to release their energy. Nice day

Great park. It is well maintained and has a lot of large old trees. There are picnic tables and grills. The playground for kids is amazing - large with a lot of different and creative ways to engage kids.

Its creative and fun. Spread out so its not too crowded. Fuels many adventures every time

This is a great Park and its always very clean and well-kept but it is a Pokemon go players dream park as it is full of pokestops, Pokemon and Gyms

Great place for kids of many ages - if theyve got any interest in a playground, theres equipment here for them. There are several sheltered pavilions, which can be reserved for events, and grills throughout. The splash pad is nice and big, too, and a great option for kids who cant swim or dont have access to a pool.One star reserved for cleanliness sometimes - the parks popularity and high traffic means it needs a lot of attention, which it doesnt always get. There is sometimes trash about or the remains of someones picnic.

Well kept park. Picnic tables thru out the park. A couple of play grounds for the kids along with a pool. A zoo for the whole family. Everything is very clean and well maintained. They also have a conservatory right on the main street and a band shell for concerts thru out the summer

Modest size, but rich and diverse flora to enjoy. The desert dome is a real treat, and small potted starters of the plants found there are often available for purchase. Some specimens seem to lack a label, and very few have anything more than a name. This is a place to enjoy plant life, not necessarily to learn a great deal about it.

This place is awesome! It has a little bit of everything. There are 2 separate playgrounds, a public pool, splash pad, amphitheater, lots of picnic tables, and last but not least, the Potawatomi Zoo! This place is great for children of all ages and there is always something going on in the evenings.

Best park for miles. Grandkids love it. For ages up to 12. Cork base. Has splash pad. Restrooms not far. Adults get lots of exercise too either following little kids on equipment or walking around and around trying to keep the little bigger ones in sight. Zoo on other side of parking lot. Lots of picnic tables and grilled if you want to make a day of it. Ice cream truck comes down street regularly. Btw, besides tons of animals, etc. Zoo has train ride and really nice carousel. Food available in zoo. Zoo closes at 4. So not best for after school. Just hit playground and splash pad after school to really wear the young kids out.

This is a great park to take the family for the day and the zoo is right next door.

Small zoo, but the animals are close up, the exhibits are well done and well kept, and the variety is great.

Had a blast

There are performances in the Chris Wilson Pavillion every Saturday night until Aug 25th. Tonight was the IUSB Jazz Ensemble. They were great, playing a variety of tunes from Big Band/Swing to Contemporary.

Almost a perfect place to play. With the location being so open, it needs cleaned up a bit better so my kids arent picking up plastic, empty liquor bottles, and cigarette butts
