Good park for the kids. Easy access. Clean facilities.

Is a nice quiet spot with a small park, a river with a bridge, and a beach!! Its kinda has a little bit of everything. It gets crowded pretty easily with more than a few people, so I have been known to just drive by it and leave due to parties and things.

The optiona to park play or water play are very nice. I love the stream running through it .

Just dont go onto the neighbors beach. The Washington law states you can own the beach up to the lowest water mark. Shell yell at you, even though its fenced off around her actual yard.. Also she didnt yell at me, she gave me a face, she yelled at someone who is Black American.

A cool place to go. Fun play structure for the kiddos. Creek with bridges running down to the lake. Covered pavilion with tables and outside grill. Nice place to walk my small dog. Walkway down to the beach, was too steep for physically challenged. Fully fenced. Restrooms. New construction of new restrooms.

Cute park, beach access, short walk. Bbqs and shelter, and picnic tables and play area. Park attendant lives on property.

Love the public beach access, covered gathering area with picnic table and the kiddos playground... a family favorite, for sure!! It is great how the parking area can appear full-time yet, the park never seems crowded! Only suggestion I have is carpooling with others if possible, the parking is limited!

Such a fun park. When the tide is out theres a cute beach to play on. Just dont go to far in the water and wash if you do!

I love this park and frequent it often with my son. I do wish it were appreciated a bit more by other guests as theres often trash scattered about. All and all its a quiet, safe place to bring my kiddo.

This park is one of my favorites. Its small, but beautiful. It has huge fir trees that remind me of the rain forest and it is set on Oakland Bay so you can go down to the water when the tide is out. My grandsons go with me sometimes - its a great place for a nature lesson. We check out the oysters and clam beds and look under rocks for baby crabs. They collect seashells and help their grandma (the rock hound) pick pretty rocks to take home. There is also a nice little playground for them to tire themselves out on. A little creek runs through the park - the kids love it! It has cute little walk across bridges and sometimes the boys will find crawdads hiding under rocks in the creek. The bathrooms are fairly nice and they have a kitchen that you can reserve for events. If you havent been here, its a must see.

Nice little park. Has bathrooms and playground. Water access but not a boat launch. You could carry in a boat and launch. Creek runs through middle of it. Several tables for dinning and at least one covered dinning area for partys. Shaded in the hot sun!

Saw moon snail, and a greatful pacific crab. Great place for everyone.

Fun to look for baby crabs and collect shells the playground is decent but what isnt decent is the litter and weird things scattered about. And the bathrooms are super sketchy

Dont expect the locals to be friendly. This is the only beach front park Ive ever visited that has neighbors on either side who pretend as if they own the entire beach. Walking along the waterfront at walker park is not prohibited among the residents.

It would have been great if it wasnt for the guy sitting in his car smoking weed, blasting music, then changing in his backseat, when there are bathrooms. I guess there is no park person to watch over the place.

Walker Park has tall mature trees that keep you shady. The playground is for children 5 to 10 years old. Theres a small beach. You cannot swim or wade here. It is a lovely park.

Ive been going to this park for all of my teen and adult life. Its a great place for adults and children with a playground for the young ones, basketball court, a covered area with BBQs for meals or meetings and easy access to a sand and rock covered beach. Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair access to the beach, so plan accordingly.

Went here for a birthday party. It was chilly, but I like how there was lights you could toggle for the seating area if it was getting dark out.

Beautiful place! Family is planning a wedding here next year.

We took our granddaughter to play both in the water and in the park. Unfortunately the water was posted as unsafe so we played at the park.

Other than the basketball court needing more occasional maintenance, this is a nice park with access to a beach. Shaded by trees to escape the sun, and some tables, BBQ areas, and playground.

Usually a great spot to go for a shaded park. Disabled parking, public restroom, beach access, covered eating area, bbq, kids playground, stream, this park has alot of amenities. Located on the water, walker park is a great destination to get out of the hot sun and still tlenjoy the local park. Not to mention thispark is regularly less crowded than other local parks.

Nice quiet little park on Oakland Bay here on Shelton, Last year my daughter got to watch a pod of Orcas Breach in front of her here.
