Kids can play in the park, there s small walk for others to an fountain of boy with a fish. We went in early spring, so didn’t see much of greenery. But it can be nice for kids to play.

The park is nice and quiet, lots of swings and different structures for kids and family members to enjoy. Perfect for picnics or just hanging out. There are benches all around, so no lack of seating.

There are better parks in Connecticut but its not bad

This park has a nice view and a lot of nature and playscapes

We were actually at the park. There are many slides and swings for my little guy. He had so much fun!There was also a woman smoking by one of the gates. Luckily, there are two gates and my son didnt have to be subjected to cigarette smoke.

Been going since my 11 and 12 year old were babies, they love it, nice little park in Shelton, opportunity for a short hike that takes you down to River and gives you a view of the take boathouse.

The park was child-friendly but there were garbage scattered in some area of the park.

Great spot a morning jog

Love this park and constantly go there with my kids. Always meet great new people and the kids have fun. However, the entire park including land scaping needs a serious over haul and update. Some of the park items are way too old and worn out. Some are about to just break or fall apart and all of the park items are unkept. They need new up to date fun new play equipment. And the landscape needs serious constant maintenance related to the mulch and trash on the playground and fencing. More garbage cans definitely needed because the 2 small ones are always over filled and not emptied enough. Benches and tables are totally beat up and you will actually get a splinter or cut from the broken and worn wood. Some are even broken and all need new paint jobs. Basically, the entire park needs complete upgrade and maintenance. Too many people go to and rely on this park for these issues not to be addressed. Shelton residents pay taxes and have more then every right to expect a beautiful park in their city to go to and enjoy.

We love this park every time we go. Old school park that is always a good time. Both my 2 y.o. and 12 y.o. have a blast. Multiple picnic tables inside the play area and space to run around. Always clean when we go

A beautiful Park, to walk around.

I love this place but there should be a sign that people should not eat peanuts. My child is allergic to peanuts and we found peanuts shells on one of the slide. I got so scared I left .

Good park with nice river views and a decent playground. Though the playground can be a little loud and may seem a little outdated comparing to other local parks.

Awesome place to take the young ones as well as play basketball and baseball! I grew up playing here and not a thing has changed!!
