Beautiful, picturesque nature hike. Nice view of the lake but no access. Would have been nice if the longer trail looped instead of having to backtrack out.
State park the is not on any list of state parks I have. Really nice trails. Coue different ecosystems. Access the lake is very limited and requires a bit of climbing -not for the faint of heart.
I love this dog park its quiet and not to many people go here so your dog can have a great time.
Calm, quiet views if you find the secluded spots.
Good terrain for any level of ability.
Great place for walking and just enjoying nature. Tread carefully, I managed to twist my ankle stepping into a hole. Its a large field with short and tall grass. One vault toilet, no water and a picnic table. Great place to bring your dogs, lots of room to run and play. No camping here and need to have a Discover Pass.
Awesome park so close to home. Must have been someones cattle ranch at some point. Great place to walk your kids, dog or lover...
Very small and nothing to do. Odd that a park named after a lake has no lake access.
Nice place to get a little exercise with trails that run along the tree line. Walking, running/jogging, hourse back ridding along with restrooms, picnic table. Very clean and close to town. Nice little getaway.
Fun warm and clean water
An amazing small park with a ton of small trails and large open fields. You can sometimes see the Olympic mountains from the park. Beautiful place to visit regardless of season.
I do not recommend this park. A friend and I were cited discovery pass violations while displaying discovery passes. Very disappointing to be harassed by the parks department while trying to get a couple kids out of the house. Really sad to see this kind of behavior at such a small park. Shame on you. Really ashamed to be a resident of Washington
Pleasant secluded area. Generally very few people out. The ones that are seem to prefer walking their well mannered dogs.
Huùad a great time with my fri
A great state park on the shores of Lake Isabella. High-quality sightseeing of swamps, fields creeks, and of course the lake. Allows bikes on trails, but no motorbikes or side-by-sides past the signs. Great place to fly a drone or kite. Suggested.
Love this open and maintained field, there are also some nice apple and pear trees in an old orchard here to eat.
This is a wonderful place to take small children and pets. Lots of open area and well manicured trails!
Beautiful open meadows. Plenty of space for everyone. Gorgeous scenery. Great place to work with your dogs and burn some pet/human energy off. Changes all the time. Meadows are grow into hay fields.
Its a huge ex hay field with nut trees about 1/4 mile to the other end of it. Nice place
Easy walking trail. Dog friendly park. Meadows and woods.
Literally just a giant open field with a lake. Havent had the pleasure of seeing the lake, but I head out to the open field for star gazing during the summer. Cool little spot, for sure.
Not crowded
Nice place to leash walk your dog.
Really nice park.
It is clearly marked that dogs are to be leashed, yet people dont follow the rules and let their dogs run free. I hope they have insurance.
Went to a cross country meet here; It had a great big open field didnt get to explore the lake area. Not much parking.
Not enough parking. Big holes in the field very dangerous for walking
Great place to walk and explorer
Nice open fields, small forest trails, warm lake
Beautiful place however if you dont have a Discovery Pass you have to pay $10 to go there whether its a half an hour an hour or all day the bathroom has been locked up so you cant use the bathroom which it was very upsetting as I had to go somewhere out in the woods because I couldnt wait now I was told that theres vandals happening there I dont know if his drug use happening in the toilet area and thats why they locked it but it sure sucks other than that I would give it a five-star
This park is huge rolling hills and huge field - 20acres or more of gently rolling open space. Great for your dog, or frisbee. They also have numerous Apple trees in the summer!
Quiet and peaceful place to go for a walk.
Nice big park on beautiful lake!
Huge grassy area and some short trails to walk...with a tunnel under the road to walk through! Shelton MC Rocks is a facebook group that paints and hides rocks all over the country. And there are quite a few at this park!
The best baskets, a real challenge
Its a pretty cool little park it could really us an update theres nothing for the kids to play on and the lake is out there somewhere youd think that they would make it possible to get down to the lake its a park kind of weird l think it couldnt be that hard or costing to make that happen! Right????¿
Love the beauty of nature.. easy trails and great place to walk the dogs.
Great private spot to walk the dog and pick blackberries.
From website: Lake Isabella State Park Disc Golf CourseNine posts soon to be baskets w/ alt. tees for playing 18 clockwise, and another 18 to play counterclockwise for a total of 36 holes. This is a laid back disc golf course in an underutilized park. You may be the only one there on a Saturday. Great for beginning disc golfers or if you just want try something new. Active locals are working hard to improve. And Swimming, Fishing, Boating, ParkThe discription above was misleading! Pros: Nobody there (read below to understand why), beautiful large meadow. Cons: Discovery Pass to park, grass is TOO long...if there was/is disc golf youd never find the markers (poles), if you threw your disc youd never find them either! Fishing (if you like climbing through blackberry bushes), swimming (yes, theres an 8 foot beachy area...if you can find it), boating (lol-no way!).This place has lots of potential, but itll take some serious work to get it there. Would be a great spot for a game of capture the flag or old school kick-the-can! Bring bug spray.Park closes at dusk. No water on site. Toilet-yes. No camping.
Awesome to ride bikes and go on walks also to find panted rocks
Bring your dogs for a great walk
No developed trails, beach access difficult. Drug dealer in the parking lot on the way out.
Trout, Silvers, Perch and Large Mouth Bass. Unfortunately there is also Squaw Fish too.
Nice for walking
A lot of trail
Great experience for walking
Cool
The area
Nice place

Good fishing place.
