Nice to see people fishing out there. Plus its a wonderful scenery.
Nice quiet place beautiful view Ive been here many times always a pleasant experience whenever I visit
Beautiful spot for biking and hiking on the logging trails
Basically, just a stop on the side of the road. Googles directions do not take you to the parking area. That is on the east side of 101. Nice to stop and look at but not a destination.
Awesome place to get a small walk and see spawning salmon. Docents there to interpret what you are seeing. Wear UV glasses. Youll see fish in the water easier with them. Or bring glass cleaner to use the docents version, as they are dirty. It doesnt smell of rotting salmon yet and you can see them building nests and jockeying for mating. . Closes at 4, so 3 is the absolute latest to arrive.
This is such a great place to go. So quiet and peaceful. Plenty of nice places to walk and take in the beauty of nature.
Was first time here and it was beautiful. Very clean! Worth going to this place. Will be coming back again
Beautiful view. Wish the parking situation were better.
This place looks really beautiful, but an app my friend uses says no dogs!! I see bunches of pictures and reviews that its dog friendly! I want to bring my doggie! Help!
Many of these comments are for the wrong place there is no waterfall or salmon run and no dogs are allowed per sign. It is a beautiful little spot you can pull of off of the road and enjoy.
The more remote it is the better I like it. This is the northwest wilderness
Easy walk along logging road to reach the short side trail to the falls. The short Salmon Trail at the beginning was very pretty.
I went at low tide, later in the day, and unfortunately there wasnt a lot of wildlife out at the time. There is a parking area along the corner of 101, up on the hill. There is also parking along the roadway with a trail that heads down to a small area on the water.
A lot of the reviews here are for the wrong place. Theyre for the Salmon Trail or the falls. The Natural Area Preserve is very small and just a couple of overlooks at the estuary. No hiking trails. You cant actually see the salmon run. Its more of a bird watching site and yes there is a lot of poison oak.
Oyster Bay is beautiful from every angle! Waterfalls best in spring.
A nice little place to pull off and stretch your legs
Excellent area to hike and enjoy. Downfall is parking is tight at the gate.
Fun trail. Brought kiddo. Lots of spider webs in my face though. Probably hasnt been walked in awhile. Easy hike.
Unfortunately I keep finding ticks on my dog and I each time I go there. Not sure why there are SOO many ticks there. Otherwise I would go there a lot more. Even in the winter weve gotten bitten. This is the only place I have encountered ticks around here, and I go hiking all the time.
Eady fun walk. Beautiful and close to town.
Good place to get away and see the wild life
Trails were a little overgrown, but with the help of a lot of horse riders, loppers, sippers, theyre better. Beautiful day for the woods, a wonderful area to enjoy nature.

Beautiful place to go Horse back riding!
Quiet and secludid a bit creepy
Nice lil area, cant really get down in beach from where I was... Need to stay on trail and watch for poison oak!
