We stopped by to get some for gifts. Pretty cool inside. Theres a bar to drink or just a quick tasting. We didnt do the tour but we saw people did and seem to enjoy.

Great atmosphere. Good drinks. A must go on your Savannah bucket list.

This is a fun craft distillery off the beaten path, just a bit west of the main downtown area, but still very walk able. Their cocktail bar has flights, which is what I would recommend doing if youve never been before. You can choose between a combination of straight spirits and mixed cocktails, with a total of 4 choices. Highly recommend both, especially their cocktails.Had their orange vodka and spiced rum, with the latter being my favorite spirit. Their basil sour was an excellent cocktail that I also got to try. While we were there, we played some board games (Mastermind!!) and had a great time. Service was excellent. Highly recommend!

We took a 3 pm tour today and had got wonderful experience of their distillery Ghost Coast. The tour guide was full of energy and was very kind to reply our silliest questions.It is a good place to hangout.

Fun bar and Whiskey too. The whiskey is more expensive here than found at local liquor stores. You can try it here, but if you find it elsewhere, that’s probably a better deal.

My first time to a distillery tap house of sorts and this place did not disappoint...Very large location, plenty of room for seating at tables, dancing, and plenty of choices for mixed drinks made by Ghost Coast. The bar, however, was smaller than I would think they would want, but the place wasnt busy on this particularly cold Saturday night, so no big deal.Service was friendly and helpful, their rum, whiskey, and bourbon choices were all very tasty, and the mixed drinks their put it in were definitely potent.This is the kind of place that one visit really just isnt enough, and I will be glad to return, hopefully soon...

Wow, talk about some proper cocktails! We walked down to the distillery and had a drink prior to taking the tour. Amazing attention to detail! Also, we very impressed that they make all their stuff such as the elder flower liqueur in house. They seem to be a company that wants to control all the input to put out a great end product. I look forward to tasting their bourbon when it comes out.

Comfortable drinks prepared with care from the first cut fruit in a Voodoo Child or scorching of wood for a Smoky Mirror, stop by for a tour or different drinking games. Staff is friendly and insures your drink is as expected. Definitely worth the extra block from the beating path, honestly they are featured in all the local bars, so do your self the favor and taste drinks by those who distill it. Cheers!

Bar service was amazing and so were the cocktails. Took the free tour and enjoyed that too. It’s brief doesn’t take a large slice of time but teaches some of the basic concepts of distilling spirits.

Beautiful bar and shop adjacent to it. Right now they have a wicked good sale on their bottle of whisky $18.64 I think to commemorate the year the first St Patrick’s Day parade in Savannah. Anyway the cocktail flight was the best choice so you get a flavor of each spirit they have which is more than I thought. The ginger whiskey is a must try it’s not too much ginger, and some with the honey whiskey the taste is just right without being too sweet. And what better a mascot than a massive fluffy distillery dog!! Yes and as the reviews say there’s a brewery the next block over. Surrounding neighborhood is not great.

Outstanding micro distillery with a lot of flavors and my favorite was the Honey Whiskey and Carthuasian (Im sure I spelled that wrong) Whiskey. Also they have a great tour and lounge/bar where you can taste everything.

This place is a lot of fun. We didnt do the tour but we took advantage of the cocktail flight which was a fun experience. The place was chill and relaxed such that I could understand conversations without screaming.

Tasty cocktails and nice selection of premium liquor. Highly recommend trying them.

Ghost Coast Distillery is a small, independent distillery in Savannah. They offer a FREE tour of their distillery, which shows the entire liquor-making process. Afterwards, they have a cocktail room where you can try their liquors, specialty drinks, or try a flight of multiple drinks. They also have a store where you can purchase bottles of their product as well as other gear.

We were really excited to come and visit Ghost Coast Distillery for our Savannah trip. It is on the out skirts of the tourist area, so I wouldn’t advise walking because it can be somewhat of a hike and it’s not very pedestrian friendly. When we arrived for the tour we stopped at the bar to grab a drink, and the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable about their products. We were able to take our drinks with us and enjoy them during the tour, which was quick but informative. However when the tour ended that was it and there was not much else to do other than look around their store, and to be honest we were left wanting a little more out of our experience. We were curious to try samples of their selection and were offered one when we asked the bartender, but that was really it and it seemed like it was not something they typically do. Overall the tour was short and sweet, and unless you buy a drink at the bar or ask for a sample or two, you won’t get to know what GCD has to offer. I would say that the distillery has room for growth when it comes to its tour and showcasing their product. We’ve been on a lot of bourbon and distillery tours through Kentucky and Florida, for free and at a ticket price. We enjoy these tours and usually walk away purchasing a bottle of their product in addition to a cocktail or two after sampling them during our tour, but apart from our initial drinks we walked away empty handed this time because there was not much to go off of when we were done.

Wow what an awesome spot to visit. I took the tour of the facility learned some cool and interesting facts about some of my favorite kinds of drinks afterwards went to the bar and sampled probably some of the best whiskey i have ever tasted. Have to give a shout out to the man Sidney Lance watching him work his magic was a treat for sure. One of my favorite spots in Savannah as of yet till next time. Im goin back to cali

The tour was super cool. And the woman that gave us our tour was THE ONLY PERSON THAT REALLY SPOKE TO US. Even at the bar no one said anything to us. And the drinks were really disappointing.

Our tour guide was amazing, wish we had caught her name. She is the only reason this is a two star review and not a one star. Our visit took a turn when we went to the bar to get a flight of samples. The bartender very rudely told us they werent doing flights anymore without explanation. It was a little after 3pm, well within their posted operating hours. When prompted he finally said they had a private party so they stopped serving flights and were only doing cocktails. Why it was too difficult to pour a few straight samples for us when they were mixing complicated cocktails is beyond me. Well, we werent going to buy any bottles when we werent allowed to taste anything so we left without spending a dime instead of buying several flights and bottles. And because the bartender was so rude I also feel compelled to write this bad review and share our bad experiences with anyone who will listen.

Awesome place. Took the tour and it was fun. Discovered they have some of the best gin I’ve ever had. I had to bring a bottle back home.

Showed up randomly as they were closing up after a big event. Everyone went out of their way to help & made me a great drink. Thanks again!

If you are visiting Savannah or Tybee go here first, take the tour, have a flight at the bar and buy a bottle of something to have for the rest of your stay. This is what we should have done. Great place.

Such an incredible start to my Georgia adventure! It was a blessing to discover this one of a kind distillery as I was looking for a place to grab a drink! While they have a full bar inside where the bartenders create all sorts of special liquor loving concoctions, I decided to stick to my budget and grab a bottle of their Peach liqueur to mix with my own drinks at home (or in this case, Tybee Island Beach). I was very warmly helped by Kori, who will surely have any and all answers you need relating Ghost Coast alcohol. Thank you very much to the Ghost Coast family for serving me today! And thank you for the pen, now I can bring the Savannah energy back home to the Carolinas whenever I write. Many blessings!

I had the pleasure of visiting this distillery during their highly anticipated bourbon release this past weekend, and it was amazing. The entertainment was incredible, the atmosphere was modern and refined, and the bartenders were very attentive. Cameron, in particular, created one of the best drinks I’ve ever had after asking what kinds of flavors I appreciated. I feel as though bartenders who have perfected their craft are hard to come by, but Ghost Coast nailed it. Can’t wait to visit again!

Cameron and the staff here not only make incredible drinks but care about their customers. Truly a unique find!

Great hidden distillery with a connected cocktail room serving up crazy and unique drinks. Tour was short and sweet and included a very well produced intro to the history of distilling in Savannah, GA as well as background on the distillery itself. Cant wait to see Ghost Coast on shelves!

Left with out a drink waited 15 minutes bartender didnt even acknowledge us. Front desk was friendly bar service horrible will not return to bar. Decent burbon but not worth the service.

This is a must stop when you cone to Savannah. The staff and the liquor are great!

Best place by far we have been on Savannah. I did have to call and check on my wheel chair but they are ADA accessible and even tool me back to smell the whiskey seeing other guest would not let me. Going back soon

Everyone in bottle sales was very nice and helpful. Felt shafted when I had to stop by liquor store and bottles were $8 cheaper.

My film production company had our wrap party here and it was great! I also went with my wife, took the tour and did the cocktail flight. Definitely recommend the cocktail flight because all their drinks are so good you dont want to leave without trying multiple ones! Staff is extremely friendly, the place is very clean, and the liquor is delicious!

Great distillery and great spirits. The option to do flights for a tasting are what made the trip worthwhile. An excellent value and the staff is friendly and helpful. Will be back!

Awesome staff great prices on bottles

$10 !and you are able to sample 4 spirits. Great deal!! Nice bartenders and a great tour. However the tours are on the hour every hour, so if you come too early or late you can hang out at the bar.. My favs are the Honey whiskey and cherry almond liqueur.

Really cool place with really good craft spirits! We were too late to make the last tour, but the tasting room was a great stop. They have some great cocktails and a flight tasting that really highlights their products.

You have to visit this place if you come to Savannah. The cocktails are amazing and very reasonably priced. Staff is incredibly friendly. The gift shop supports local businesses. We came back every day we were in town because they have best drinks around.

This place is kind of off the beaten path, but worth going to. Interesting tour that included a little history of prohibition. Beautiful facility. Had a flight of some of their spirits as well as a few different cocktails. The bartenders were friendly and made great drinks.

We planned a holiday party for a client at Ghost Coast and could not have been more pleased with the evening. The staff were all very attentive and enjoyable. The bartenders were great and had prepared some really creative and delicious cocktails. The took small groups on tours throughout the evening which was a huge hit. The owners were there all night making sure every detail was looked after. They really made planning and executing this event a breeze! Highly recommend!

Ghost Coast Distillery is the first licensed distillery since the end of Savannahs first prohibition. To find the exact meaning of that statement take their tour. Its both fun and historic. John, who was the guide gave an interesting, enthusiastic explanation of the distilling process. The short film is entertaining. The tasting room ---- well, try it yourself. Chris and Julie the owners are doing a terrific job welcoming people and distilling new spirits.

We enjoyed our visit! We tried a liquor flight and especially liked the elderflower liqueur and the spiced rum.

Server was great! The spirits and cocktails were ok, just a little too sweet for our crew. The best spirit is their spiced / cinnamon whiskey! Be sure to try that.

The Ghost Coast Distillery is a great new addition to Savannah. John was our tour guide and he did an amazing job. The tour started out with a 10 minute video about the history of Savannahs TWO prohibitions. Before this tour, I didnt know about the first one. Everything was well done and Ill definitely be taking friends and family when they come from out of town. I also got to meet the owners, Chris and Julie. They were great, and I love supporting local businesses. I highly recommend this tour and make sure you get a souvenir bottle of their vodka with the tour. Although, I dont know how long that souvenir is going to last!

Not pleased to get all the way here (in the middle of nowhere) only to find the place is “closed” for a private birthday party. I can understand booking the place out on a weekday, but definitely not on a Saturday night. Guess that’s Savannah for you...

I took the tour at the Ghost Coast Distillery with a group of hotel concierges and I will definitely recommend this tour to guests visiting downtown Savannah. The background of Savannahs history with spirits is detailed in a well-produced 10 minute video. After that. John took us through the room where they store the oak barrels, followed by the production facility as well as the tasting room. John was a great guide who was able to answer all our questions. Owners Chris and Julie were also on hand and help to make it a unique and very enjoyable experience.

We had a great time! Free 30 min.Tour every 1/2 hour, including a brief visually stimulating video presentation. In the Ghost Coast Distillery Bar we enjoyed a flight of four samples for $10.00 or a guest can choose from a variety of fancy cocktails for $10.00 each. Easy walk to nearby Service Brewing Company.

Out of the way place, but interesting. Personal tour. VERY hot in distillery. Very knowledgeable. Video before tour. Paid flights and drinks for tasting afterwards. They’ve not started serving what they’ve aged yet. But good drinks afterwards. Nice folks.
