We are frequent visitors at the Buckingham Club. This year, we spent an extended period of time with residents. Mike and Sandy, the managers were amazing. They were fantastic ambassadors for Buckingham Club. Under the circumstances, they made our stay fun and relaxing. In addition to Mike and Sandy, the inclusive nature was also seen in the other residents. They invited us (and our children) to events like shuffleboard tournaments & other outdoor activities while safely social distancing.We cannot say enough good things about our time at Buckingham Club. We highly recommend it!

Been living here for 7 months now and we absolutely love this park. It is very clean and the management here are the greatest. We would recommend this park to anyone. I wish we would have found it sooner.

They are extremely friendly and willingly extend themselves, not only in their care and concern for the residents of the park, but with respect to their diverse abilities and life experience, are able to offer sound advice and share knowledge in a multitude of areas with commendable expertise. We are so thankful they hold managerial positions at beautiful Buckingham Club .

Such a beautiful place! All of the homes are lovely and well-maintained. The people are friendly and welcoming and the managers are terrific. The pool is fantastic and the location is so convenient. The beach is a short bike ride or drive away. There are great restaurants and shopping nearby. Just a wonderful and relaxing retreat!

What a wonderful place to vacation! I cant imagine how nice it would be to live there!! Maybe 2-3 miles to the most beautiful beach in the world, plus a nice pool and shuffleboard on property. The managers are super friendly and helpful too. I know where Ill be buying my 55+ vacation home!

My tropical paradise is back! I have had a home in Buckingham Club since July 4, 1986. I am so pleased with all of the additions that the new owner has made to our park. It has been revitalized, is alive again and just beautiful! Several of the homes have recently been painted including mine, in bright coastal colors. They have also done so much with the landscaping that I can see grass again which is a joy! The entire pool area has a fresh look with new furniture from chairs to umbrellas.Manager Mike Hanes is always available and very accommodating.Thank you Mr.Reid for caring about Buckingham Club and the residents!Marylou Carroll & Jerry Lou Hendricks

My parents purchased a home @ The Buckingham Club in the late 70s and wintered there for over 30 years. I was able to purchase their home many years after they passed away. I had been wanting to buy in The Buckingham Club, but to be able to buy their home was an added blessing! I live permanently in San Antonio, TX, but if I need ANYTHIING Mike and Sandy are readily available to help in any way, which is truly appreciated. I love my home @ The Buckingham Club and look forward to my retirement there. It has a lot to offer and everyone is so friendly. Special thanks for Mike and Sandy for everything they do!!

I have been a resident at Buckingham Club Mobile Home Park for six years. It is a wonderful place to live. Safe and friendly. Although the park has always been well maintained, the recent renovations and painting done by the new owners have really added to the beauty of the mobile home park. The improvements around the pool/recreation area make me feel like I’m at the beach. It looks like a sandy beach resort. I love it here. You will, too.

We rented at Buckingham for our first time in May 2019. Many of the residents were gone. Those who live there permanently were very friendly to us. The park was peaceful and clean. We enjoyed the pool and riding bikes. The proximity in location to shopping and Siesta Key Beach is amazing! An added bonus is the friendliness of Sandy and Mike! Gary & Robyn

We love that we have purchased a home in this Beautiful park. The other residents and especially the Mangers Mike and Sandy are caring and helpful. We are so looking forward to being almost full time residents.

My Dad has lived here for over 8 years and he is very happy. The new owners have done a fantastic job making a number of great improvements. It is even better now that they have appointed Mike and Sandy to manage the location. They are wonderful people and really care about taking care of the place and the residents!

My mother has spent most of each year in the park for many years. Its nice to know she has such wonderful, caring neighbors. Recently I was helping to close down her house for a few months while she visits family in Indiana and needed some assistance. Mike, the resident manager, dropped what he was doing and came to my assistance. The grounds have always been well-kept, but I have noticed several improvements recently. Im confident her property will be looked after while shes gone.

My husband and I have been Buckingham Club snowbirds for nearly 10 years. It IS our Florida dream! It’s meticulously maintained and the new owner has implemented a host of great updates.Park Managers Mike and Sandy Hanes are welcoming and address residents’ questions/concerns efficiently and effectively. The community is our Florida family!

Wow! I can see with my own two eyes the reinvestment back into the park. Gone for a cruise for two weeks and returned to see new fencing already in place around parts of park and light in pool for night swimming! The painted buildings look awesome! Can’t wait to see the pool upgrades! This is our 4 th year as a snowbird and have seen most improvements over the last month then in previous years! Mike and Sandy are open door, let’s talk managers! Love my little park!

Property managers are just awesome. They take good care of the property and more importantly they are warm and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buckingham Club.

My husband and I bought our house in 1992. So we spent 28 wonderful winters here. We really enjoyed the people and weve made many close friendships over the years. The park, itself, is very well maintained and a beautiful place to call home.

This Buckingham Club is a hidden gem! We are a renting family for the pass two years and we really love this park. This community is very close knit family and full of fun to be with. There is plenty of activities going on and keeps you busy all you want. We have been welcome with open arms and made part of the community just as if we were owners. Thank You all for being kind to us. See you next year God willing.One more information: Mike and Sandy are the best choice for this park. They make you feel at home no Mather what problem you have.

Have lived in the park for nearly a year now and love it. All the many updates to the park are fantastic. Great place to call home.

Im a renter at the park. I came during the winter and everyone immediately made me feel like family! I love it here there are so many activities to do without having to leave this wonderful park. You can participate in one or all activities available: euchre, poker, bridge, game night, shuffleboard, corn hole, ladies luncheons, grill outs, club dinners, water volleyball, water aerobics, bowling etc.... Did I mention the wonderful heated pool! Nice place to swim, lounge or just meet with friends! Dont forget the clubhouse with a nice fireplace, kitchen, library, computer, and a couple of exercise equipment for anyones use. Dont get me started on all the upgrades, improvements and the ones still in progress and still to come. This is an amazing park to be in!

We purchased our retiremnt home in April 2018 here at Buckingham Club, we did not retire until 12/28/18 and started our new adventure here in January 2019. This community is absolutely wonderful. The welcoming we received has been amazing. Just recently under new ownership, the owners have allowed the new managers. Mike and Sandy, to bring their ideas to life here at Buckingham Club, everyday there are new and exciting improvements, from painted buildings, ( by the way in which the color schemes look awesome), new fencing, beautiful landscaping, new pool furniture in the near future, and we are told even more to come. Mike and Sandy’s excitement of making Buckingham Club a true paradise is enlightening! Location of Buckingham Club is literally 3-4 minutes drive, or 10 - 15 minute bicycle ride, from what has been the number one beach for years, Siesta Key, if you have not visited the white powdered sands of Siesta Key Beach you should definitely place this on your bucket list! Sue and I have had extended visits at Buckingham Club over the past few years. We have always found the residents to be very friendly and treated us as though we were one of them. The park offers a heated pool, great location near Stickney Point Rd and S. Tamiami Trail just 2.4 miles from Siesta Key Beach. It is a 55 and older community of just over 100 affordable manufactured housing units.Recently the park underwent a change in ownership. The new owner and his family held a meeting with the home owners. We were privileged to be allowed to attend. At that meeting the new owner outlined the many new upgrades to the property that would occur in the coming months. I thought he was honest and forthright in presenting information and answering questions. Through his action he has shown the residents he is a man of his word. Painting all common buildings, on site management available 24/7 and Improvements in the landscape in just a few months. He has hired outside scheduled pool maintenance, contracted for scheduled lawn care, and is in the process of upgrading perimeter fencing..We currently do not have plans to move to or winter in Sarasota but if we did make that choice, it would beto try to purchase a home in the Buckingham Club.

Several year resident ...recent rate increase showing huge gains and benefits already-all common buildings repainted-thousands of dollars worth new perimeter fence will install soon..pool warm every day...and we are still on low end of average monthly fee for 55 and over parks in beautiful Sarasota (15 minutes to Siesta Key)

A very nice, small 55+ active senior retirement community. Has a pool and offers various activities for its residents. However, no pets are permitted in this community. Please contact the communitys office for more information.
