Laguna de Santa Rosa is one of my favorite places to photograph in Sonoma county.

Attended an Edible Mushroom seminar. Impressed by the organization and content of presentation. Will definitely attend future seminars.

Great down to earth workshops and hands on experience! They do great work, and you should support/visit them!

One of the best places in Sonoma County to view bird, especially birds of prey. Not just the common Red-tailed and Red-shouldered Hawks, White Tailed Kites, American Kestrels and Northern Harriers, but the not so commonly seen Bald Eagles, Merlin, Peregrine and Prairie Falcons, Osprey, Coopers and Sharp-shinned Hawks, and also the Ferruginous and Rough-legged Hawks.. .. Come out on a raptor tour or raptor powerpoint identification workshop. (West County Hawkwatch) at the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation. Amazing habitat, wildlife, sights, sounds, fresh air, fun people..... get out and enjoy nature!

Like walking in a natural preserve. Many species of birds flying around. A piece of Heaven on Earth.

The public talks are hit and miss, with some great presenters and some self-indigent waffles. The organization itself is great with enthusiastic staff and volunteers, but they need to be more discerning when selecting speakers.

Was there for a workshop. Was a great talk. They have artwork in a ddition to their educational component. A must on the list.

They do INCREDIBLE work there educating kids about nature. Fantastic place to visit!

An excellent venture that combines the sense of community to preserve the Laguna de Santa Rosa. A beautiful, welcoming venue to nurture ones love for nature and why this special place is vital to our regions healthy waterways, native habitat for flora and fauna, and ones peace of mind.

Always good to go to for a fast hike

I was a volunteer for a year. Visit during business hours, go for a walk, learn about their restoration program, find an event to attend, then become a donor or volunteer.
