Very friendly from the beginning and made you feel welcomed. Not too small not too big. All great things. Organic fresh wine. Everything was so cute and family styled. The property was well maintained and also very big . My family stated that they were very happy with everything all around . “

Very nice people, owners and family working there. Very personal and not commercial feel to the small winery. There are some relaxing seating outdoor near the vineyard. There are a number of wines (mostly Chardonnay and Zinfandel) many older and over the hill vintages.

I love this old world set up that Joe has. The wines are outstanding and you can still get some old vintages. Zinfadels and chardonnays are especially good. Joe, Lucia, and Lidia treat you like you are part of the family from the old country. Besides drinking great wine, you are in great company.

This was one of the best visits and pretty much unscheduled. Joe and his wife were great hosts. Wine tasting and a trip into the vines with Q&A. We didnt press for a tour of any equipment as we only called ahead 10 minutes. Absolutely, salt of the earth vineyard.

Mothers day, gates locked, should have called ahead. Ohh well, understandable though for a small family shop. We sent an email asking about retail spots and we got a quick reply with both retail info and a note that the gates would be unlocked that afternoon if we wanted.Fast forward 4 hours and Mr. Battaglini is shaking our hands and unlocking the shed; hed come back a bit early from a family gathering for us!Easily my favorite winery in CA because the wine is simply that good. Little highlights like today just make it that much better.

Joe makes fantastic Zin & Syrah! Every time I go, I feel like Im heading to a friends house...as they live on the property and only have a few staff members. Their wine club is a really good deal as well. Go see Joe ASAP and hell make you feel welcomed and at-home!
