Large and in charge (for evacuation). Beautiful, busy place to enjoy nature and retreat from the wildfires. Learned it was previously a water reclamation or similar facility. Well handled by those working there when I couldnt stay at my vacation camping spot at Spring Lake. That whole ash snowstorm days with a cherry tomato in the sky. Its nice there.

Great park. We especially enjoy the large dog park that has two fenced in areas for dog play. Not really divided into small and big dog area, its more like everyone uses one side and if a dog needs his own space they have the other area to chill in. Not the best area but is chill during the day.

Great big park. Cool climbers for the kids. Fields for sports. Parallels creek path . Only draw back is there is not much shade. Dont forget the pooch, they will love the dog park

A lot of space, 2 baseball fields with a ton of potential that need maintenance, and a dog park that people seem to enjoy. A lot of homeless people but Ive never seen them bother anyone. If the fields are taken care of and they can limit the loitering they can keep the park from becoming a blighted area. I give it 4 stars because we appreciate the park, the baseball fields are a fantastic design, and they keep the grass mowed.

First time to this Place to Play. Plenty of room for all to enjoy; human and non. Soccer fields, playground, numerous paths to explore, There is a lake for nesting waterfowl and other migrating winded creatures. Photo opportunities abound here. I will be back for more.

I love this park!!! My one complaint is ther is not enough shade. The park is big, parrallels the walking path of the Santa Rosa creek and opens early, 6am!!! I recommend a picnic or bring the kids,the climbers are really cool looking.

Its a big area with a dog run, soccer and baseball/softball fields, playground, a remote control car track, and plenty of space to walk. It could be improved with some tennis, basketball, volleyball courts. Theres plenty of space to build them, that the community could benefit from more space for activities.

This a a safe and convenient place for our dog and us. The dog owners are responsible, respectful and often offer help. The actual park is rough with holes, weeds and splintering bark. It could be a good project to offer. There are water bowls with fresh water and parking. The outer area of the park is filled s and sidewalks. Worth it to come with your pups.

Really nice place for a quiet walk around the large pond little bit of bird watching can be done. Great place to see geese. Nice access to the running stream next to the park and good soccer fields for adults and kids. Nice playground for 5 years old and up. Popular dog park.

Good place to walk your dogs

The dog park is great.Be on your guard for the homeless, vagrants, gang bangers, drug dealers, rabble rousers, etc. that have control of the parking lots and grounds of the park.Do NOT recommend going after sun down or taking your children.

There is a lot to do here with places to take an easy wall around the pond, an area to let your dogs run and play, fields for soccer, plus its wide enough for a lengthy run with its proximity to the Santa Rosa Creek Trail. Its a great park within the city and if you live close by its worth the visit. We have many recreational areas in our city and this is a great location.

I can only rate the playground really. Its an interesting structure and the kids seem to really enjoy it. However there is No seat and No shade at all. This makes it really hard to enjoy on a hot day. There are bathrooms nearby. If theyd add.in some seating and shade trees it would be a much nicer place to play.

I live near this park it has the new Beluzio field for Soccer that used to be of off of Todd road near the 101 overpass. Outstanding dedication to youth soccer. I recognized the white goal posts as I have welded and repaired a few of them many years ago. there is One thing that bothers me about the park and that is that it was planned to have more activities that never came to be. there was much done on the pond which seemed to be the main focus in the construction of the park. things like the skatepark and a few others never came to be. I have tried to research the original use for the pond that was already there but have not ran across anything so far. I read in the Press Demo once that the cost to dig and transport the soil from the pond cost more than expected. there is a dog park and a baseball field. RC track. overall the park is Safe and not much crime. walking around the lake is fun and one lap around is farther than it seems.

One night in a storm I saw a barn owl on the ground! That in itself was amazing .. but it gets better to be continued...

Its a beautiful park!! It has fields for baseball and softball and soccer and room to run. There is a dog walking area and a dog park. Its got a huge parking lot and bathrooms. Trees and grass. My dog is a bit of an introvert and she loves it out there.

Agreat place if you just want to park your car sit on it listen to a little music. And just gather your yjoughts. This is a park of youngsters playing sports baseball. Soccer few other. Theres also two large dog runs. Theres also alittle lake. Say theres fish in it personally Ive never seen any. But rather your there to catch a games or sorry our those family worrys. Bring your own beverages. And be prepared to walk to potty as h all facility are located on 1 side a good, 4 min walk.its a great overs all park by

The best spot in town for dogs. No lack of space, all the usual utilities (playgrounds, bball and soccer set up, bathrooms/fountains etc.) and usually just enough people around to mingle a bit without feeling congested. Some areas with tall grass so watch for ticks.

I have never been to a childrens park that does NOT have a bathroom next to it. You either have to use a porta-potty or pack everything up and drive down to the complete other side of the field. And the entire time we were there, trying to celebrate my 4 year old nieces birthday party, several people in low rider trucks were cruising back and forth along the park road, where kids are playing and burning off their tires when they got to the other end. It was sickening smelling burnt rubber. I like the cool playground and grassy area, and small pond, but thats all it has going for it.

Having come to APTP for countless soccer games when the kids were younger I was surprised to learn about the dog park! Nice surprise!it is a really good size, with two separate areas. A solid coral type entry/exit which is awesome! Yes there are quite a few homeless people but my dog doesnt mind and neither do I. The only thing I am concerned about would be coming in the summer as there is no shade cover directly over the dog area,like Doyle Park and many others. But here we are at the end of February with more rain on the horizon so well definitely be back.

Nice place, lots of room to roam... Great for kids to ride bikes, play field games or just run around the field... They even have space to fly drones and planes they even have a remote control track... They have a small play area with climbing and swinging things to play on... Definitely worth it...

It was a hot day, and the smallish off-leash dog areas have no shade, and no seating... (Not good planning for a dog park.) So we left and checked out another park after about 5 minutes :/Also, beware of the sidewalk and parking lot being really hot for dog paws in the summer.I may go back again on a cooler day.

I love this huge park. Ive 3 dogs and they love walking all over the park. People are chill and police do patrol it, which is really great. Its a beautiful park!

Honestly, Ive never had a bad experience here. There are regulars who come here and they are super great. Ive never seen anything that was crazy dog people type of stuff. These people are great and know how to watch their dogs. There are two sections for the dogs to play in, so people can separate potentially aggressive dogs if they need to.

Havent personally gone there to use the park. I went fishing in the pond on the property. Didnt even get a bite but it looks great and some guy I saw there said he caught a 4lb bass on a fluke that day but who knows.

This place can be a nice place to have a short walk, or perhaps to bring your dog. There is a nice area you can let your dog play with other doggos. The wildlife can be somewhat exciting to observe. There are some big fields perfect for playing large scale sports like ultimate Frisbee (my favorite), foot ball, or soccer. Do not hang around too late though for this place is normally crawling with the homeless after dark. I would recommend this place to play sports at.

Easy location in the neighborhood. Many wonderful pooches met along the path. Grass beautiful, lovely landscape and plenty of poop bags! Thank you!

Too many dogs running at large, spoiled it for me and my dog! Was chased by a pit bull, no offense, but I was terrified! Two of my past dogs were attacked by the same dog. :( we loved this park too ! So sad !! :(

A great place for dogs and neighbors to hand out and play!

I love the dog park here. And Im living in a van, so parking there overnight was great. Dogs play at night & first thing in the morning. Works really well on the days I have to work at 9. Last night they kicked us out from being able to park overnight. Weve got to find a place on the streets. Well, not only is that WAY more difficult it is also more frightening. People get nervous about strange cars parking in their neighborhoods. Having people knocking on my door asking what Im doing there would be quite frightening, and dangerous. People can get mad & violent quickly. I dont know what to do. Ive got to find out when the next City Council meeting is & get on the agenda!!!

Its a nice park and very active, but they need to clear some brush to get better access for fishing

The city should maintain the soccer fields better because there are lots of holes. There also seems to be a lot rift raft hanging out in the back parking lot.

This park is great! 4 Soccer Fields, an RC off-road track, dog park, and a baseball field!This park is also a trial platform for a new type of playground equipment. It is recommended for older (6+) children, but my 3-year-old had no problem finding fun things to explore.They usually have a soccer practice, and sometimes kids will take their stock Challengers and show you how quickly they can hit the rev limiter. There are enough fields that you can easily find an area to kick around, or run some sprints. As for the kids, well, the police come through fairly often.

This place is nice. From where it started its come a ways. I like the part they finally added. Dog park is cool too. But there is still just so much unused space and potential. Like the small lake, I want to see that cleaned up so people can walk around it an enjoy it without worry. I like the place but still wont go a long with all the people hanging out in their vehicles. More kiddie areas maybe?

I love this place. There are a bunch of sports fields. I like to walkon the trail around the pond. My kids love the little playground as well. They cant wait until they are big enough for a remote control car. They love watching people with theirs. This is the only park we have been to that has a course for remote control cars.

Its a calm dog park, only thing Im concerned about and not really an issue until it becomes one, Is people who have been there for a bit or go there everyday feel a bit entitled to think they have priority and how the rules are placed upon them instead of everyone. Theres SOME not all owners who are not on top of their dog, the typical let go and right away cell phone or chat with another owner. Theres a click here, if your not part of them you feel like an outsider. For me Im only there for my pet other than that if you dont mind anything from what I mentioned its a great place.

The this park and the area. Usually way to many dogs with their humans for my dogs. However humans there are usually kind and social just usually over crowded and my dogs are not that social. So we walk around the water and fields.They also have a fun cool looking spot for people who use RC Cars and trucks, a huge field for them to drive and race the little cars on a huge track.

They dont allow gas rc cars on the rc car course!

We took our dogs there and the people there too or very nice. The park is pretty big and theres several of them just in case you dont want to mix your dogs with somebody elses. And it was really pretty

Its usually peaceful, except for a couple of old guys that circle the park. Im not sure if they are perves or park want be cops, at any rate they creep me out.

I would like to love this place, but its only likable. Too much poop everywhere to make it worth it. The only benefit to this place is the dog park is separated into two sides. One for anxious dogs and one for social dogs. That is an advantage when dealing with two blue healer puppies who think wind is their enemy. Overall better than a lot of places but the sheer amount of poop disregarded by dog owners is overwhelming. Quite a shame.
