A local farmers market with its own Santa Fe mix of chilis, sage, flowers, local produce and so many interesting people. There is also food available to eat there from vendors and from the cafe.

What a cornucopia of seasonal produce...best local honey from the actual beekeepers themselves... all under attractive white square tents, nicely spaced for maintaining physical distance...impressive adjustment to corona restrictions as well as an extremely drought-ridden spring n summer... winter squashes in abundance, though smaller than other years. Gotta be one of the best yearround markets in the country...and I ve seen a few myself. Kudos to the organizers!

Wide array of vendors selling beautiful flowers, fresh produce, frozen meat, and packaged items. I was a little underwhelmed by one farmer at his inability to describe the taste of his own product, but then very happy with some others descriptive abilities. Overall a great experience, although a bit over priced.

I want to encourage more people to shop for their produce here. We go on Tuesdays and it takes less time to get our produce for the week than it does at supermarkets. The quality of the veggies has been spectacular especially with onions garlic and peas, the flavor is unmatched to the dry produce you usually get. Its also nice to buy directly from the farmers, and to adapt cooking plans to use what they have in stock.

The farmers market is exactly what you would expect with some notable differences. First, one area is devoted to local artisans. They are very skilled and the products range from textiles to jewelry to wall decor and other metal work.Additionally, locally grown, fresh vegetables, meats and breads are available for purchase. Highly recommend the locally sourced chiles as well.We loved this market!

Whether you share a love of fresh produce, like to people watch, want to wander among a plethora of colors and fragrances (see photos), or just absorb some local Santa Fe culture on a pretty day, the Santa Fe Farmers Market is not to be missed. Located in the Railyard, theres no shortage of other things to do in the immediate area. One of our favorite times to visit is early fall when theyre roasting green chilies. Ask for a sample!

My son spent more then he intended, Im going to try a delicious looking bread n my wife bought a Danish to try. BUT again w/ my pet pieve, people leave your dogs at home, it is disconcerting to see a dog lunging at its leash or trying trip you as were walking through the crowd.

The produce is fresh...the vendors nice...the baked items are good. So Why two stars? This is what is posted on their website...The Market is running at 25% of maximum capacity. We also monitor the market and make sure social distancing of 6ft is upheld and no gatherings of any kind take place.Having been there yesterday THIS IS 100% FALSE!! There is NO ONE keeping count. There is NO SOCIAL DISTANCING! NONE! Several people (including vendors) were wearing their facemasks wrong...not covering their nose.During this period of COVID cases increasing it is your choice. My choice is not to go again.I wish the Farmers Market would do what they claim.I lowered my rating to ONE star based on the reply from the owners. Lets review...Hi Mark, Im sorry that you felt this way about our market. We do monitor the market flow and are never more than 25%. We dont physically count each customer but our maximum 25% capacity of customers is around 300 which seems like a lot but the market takes up a huge amount of outdoor and indoor space. There is never that many customers at the market at one time. The Market staff is constantly monitoring social distancing and moving people along if they stop to chat.We are NM COVID Certified and take pride on being one of the safest places to shop. Please come again. I think you might have a different view next time.* How do they monitor the market flow? There was NOT ONE PERSON monitoring. Plus there are multiple entrances and exits that are not monitored at all.* The market staff was monitoring social distancing? I guess they took the day I was there off. There was NO ONE MONITORING SOCIAL DISTANCING. There were groups of people congregating and talking like it was 2019. No one moved them along.* If the Santa Fe Farmers market is one of the safest places to shop I definitely do not want to find out what is worse.Okay then. You can believe what I saw and witnessed (and I have no dog in this fight) or you can believe the owners of the Farmers Market who have a vested interest in folks shopping there.Just to be clear...once there is a vaccine I will be more than happy to go back.

Excellent Farms Market in Santa Fe. They have a little bit of everything, fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh meats, baked goods, jams and jellies, soups, an antique mall, a row of arts and crafts and ample parking in the garage nearby. Bring a cooler for your trunk and bring reusable bags to hold everything you purchase.

I went on Sunday to the Artisan Market. There were some fabulous artists, but what intrigued me most were the handmade flutes created by Robert Goodluck Jr., a Navajo native. He has been making them for 24 winters. Each flute is hand carved from the hollowing out, to the holes, to the symbolic design, stones, and colors added. Each flute will carry a slightly different tone because each piece of wood is different. When you really pay attention to the details, you start realizing how much time and care he took to make each one. They are definitely worth buying, either to play, or display in the home. Woodworking skills like this are so rare now; its like having a piece of living history in your home. Oh! Ask him to play one for you! The sound is beautifully hypnotic, and you feel like you have been transported back in time to a peaceful place of nature and beauty!

A fun, if very crowded, way to see lots of Santa Fe crafts and produce under one roof. Unfortunately there’s quite a bit of snobbery among the food providers, some of whom are too aloof to answer simple questions. (Looking at you, breakfast burrito woman.) it’s a shame this market only happens once a week as it’s really too crowded to be enjoyable. Especially if you have children.
