This is a really great place to check out. We were just visiting the area and wanted to take our little man somewhere fun. He loved it. Got to see a snake eat a dead mouse. He thought that was awesome. Couple birthday parties going on as well, so clearly that option is available. Really nice place.

So neat! Such a nice place to take the kids. There is plenty to do. There is a small door for the kids to have their own separate entrance. (by the main door). Inside they have an area for toddlers to play, dress up with a stage, water play area, bubbles, face painting and so much more. Outside they have a small grassy area, sand box area, Adobe play house and more! The cost wasnt terrible it was $30 for 2 adults 3 children. They also have memberships as well. We definitely will be going back!

The staff here are the best part about this museum. While I was mostly underwhelmed with the organization and atmosphere, the people who work here are so wonderful to the children. This is not the first place I would recommend people take their kids in Santa Fe, but prices are mostly reasonable and despite my own aversion as an adult, the kiddos seemed to enjoy themselves quite a bit. Id say its hit or miss depending on personal preference.

This is a wonderful, pocket sized science museum. It is really more like an educational interactive play space. Our baby (under one) watched some of the bigger exhibits with keen interest, and spent hours gleefully romping in the toddler room. Highly recommended if you are traveling to Santa Fe with young children.

Awesome place for younger kids. I took my 3-year-old nephew, my 2-year-old niece and my 2-year-okd daughter and all three had a blast. Their favorite exhibit was the wind tunnel. They loved the little playground are for toddlers and little kids, the bubbles, the face painting area, the sand pit, the train area and the crafts. My nephew got to make slime. He was so excited. Its true that its small but we ended up staying there for 2.5 hours, and even the adults had fun. We only left because it was nap time. Highly recommended and will definitely go back.

Great inside and out, summer and winter, always improving and new! First, become a yearly member as it is a great savings and very affordable, includes guest passes. During the winter having somewhere to go to run around is very nice, with all the enriching and interactive areas, and in the warmer times the outside is great, truly unique. I cant wait until my daughter is older and we can get more involved with the adobe and garden projects. The staff is amazing! Thanks very much everyone!.

I used to love coming here with the kids a lot but my schedule hasnt allowed me to go as much as I would like. This past weekend I was able to attend a birthday with the family for my friends son. The party was at the end of day so the kids got a lot of time to play and explore the place. My son loved the bubble station and the air lifter station (not the actual name)...of course my daughter was just to cool to hangout with us so she ran around trying everything with her friends. This place has a lot to get your kids imagination going and also test their persistence on certain activities. The whole family will actually enjoy it.

Great interactive kids space! Interior space is small but has great hands on exhibits using wind, bubbles, magnetics, & kinetics, as well as art and face painting. The big plus here is the great outdoor space, its huge with lots to do.Summer camp program.Annual Family membership for 6 is a good value for $125.

Theres nothing quite like going full circle, especially when it comes to taking my own one-year-old to a place I visited from infancy to probably around age 10 or 11. Though a lot has changed (miss you, greenhouse and rock wall!), they have worked hard to bring in brand new, dynamic, and educational exhibits that are fabulously fun for children (and grown ups). There are nooks, crannies, and paths all over the place, a gorgeous outdoor garden, and a quiet room and toddler area for when the main area gets overwhelming. I highly recommend picking up a membership and following their Facebook to stay up to date with special events. Well love this place forever!!

The Santa Fe childrens museum is a really fun place to take our children, and they seem to truly enjoy it as they can learn through play. They have a lot of activities which involve water, inertia, magnetism, static electricity, and movement. The cost is around $10-$15, per child, which is the norm for childrens museums.

This place is not impressive to people with access to big-city children’s museums. However, it can keep a child occupied for 1 to 4+ hours, in my personal experience with kids ages 1 to 8. Water flow exhibit, really nice art/craft spot, the bubble making site, some climbing and a “young tot” area, and more. Best sandbox in town plus a nice outdoor area for free play. The outdoor music making area was broken and nearly useless on my last visit.
