We take a walk there just about every evening after dinner. There are photos being taken for special occasions, tai chi etc.

I’ve been coming here for years and years and this park continues to evolve and become more beautiful. I love that Santa Fe cares so much about its parks. Plenty of trees for any activity and a great place for a picnic. Parking is decent but not great. Only a table or two so maybe not ideal for groups.

The grass is always maintained and there is plenty of room for multiple parties and groups to come and relax. The location and surrounding areas work well together. A lot of people, including myself, will come and spend their lunchtime at the park because it is peaceful, clean, and very convenient. The best part... ALL THE ROSES!!!!

I love this park! The grass is wonderful for walking your dog! The park is easy to find but is off the main roads just far enough to be quiet. This was the first place I went after I received the news that my mom had died. I enjoy going back on the Anniversary of her passing. The rose garden is a very tranquil place.

PEACE AND QUIET IN A SERENE OUTDOOR SETTING.... Rose Park, as its locally known is an ideal place for a picnic lunch, a quiet conversation with a friend, an hour with a favorite book, or sketchbook/canvas/charcoal and paints. This is a serene local treasure with lots of room. This is a favorite place for yoga and Tai Chi / Chi Gong practice. Dog owners walk their dogs here, and are good about cleaning up after their pets. There are dozens of well-tended rose bushes at one end of the park and a beautiful 75 high (my guesstimate) Sequoia tree, at the other end. Theres also lots of shade, a couple of picnic tables, and a dozen, or so, benches. There are water fountains, but no restrooms, here. There is ample street parking, here, but avoid the resident- only parking across the street. Admittedly, this is such a sweet quiet location for writing and quiet contemplation that Im half tempted to keep it a secret, but do come for a quiet and peaceful visit. This is a very special place. A beautiful if somewhat narrow park off Galisteo. There are some beautiful flowers, shady grassy areas, picnic tables and some great photo spots.Generally it is pretty quiet and there arent many people, but in the summer it is not uncommon to see groups of people with a photographer taking pictures here.

Best park, hardly any animals ever here

This is one of the best parks in Santa Re if youre a fan of roses. Many varieties are in bloom here all summer long. Stop and smell them all you like!

Lovely little park...green grass, tall shady trees...picnic tables and park benches...nice place to walk your dog (please be sure to pick up after it) and eat lunch or read a book. Sometimes there will be a group playing volley ball and people will even bring their hammocks for a snooze.

When you first come upon the park, you think it is just like any other neighborhood park, but as you go through the park, you continue to find beautiful spots that gives this park a romantic feel. There are water fountains, rare trees, little nooks for sitting. Throughout the spring and summer you will see beautiful roses.

Lots of shade trees to escape midday sun. Rose garden here is beautiful in season. Lots of grass. When I visited, a dozen people were gathered together doing Tai Chi. Streetside parking for 30-ish vehicles but they fill up fast due to this parks popularity.
