Walk through some lovely cienega trails for free or by donation. The colors in fall are captivating! Parking lot can fill up a bit on weekends but there is lots of overflow on the frontage road.

Pretty, peaceful, place. Nice to see an area so different from its surroundings.

Interesting signage, beautiful flowers, easy walk. Non-native trees have been removed so theres less shade than before.

This place will inspire you. All four seasons you will find beautiful scenery. The sound of frogs, birds, fish, and cricket. The smell of nature, the hug of a cool breeze, the sound of water running in the acequias. I find this place to be so unique and inspiring.Visit El Rancho De Las Golondrinas, you will no regret it.

Why is this preserve only open on the weekend? Was very excited to check it out but came to find that it was closed...

I lucked out... i am new to the area and I was on my way to another short hike when I saw the beautiful trees from the highway. Luckiest part: today was the last open day.Docents were nice and knowledgeable. Trails are well maintained.

Absolutely wonderful place but it seems like a disservice to the community that it is open so little in the summer.

What a great place to learn about plants and animals in their natural habitat. Open Saturday and Sunday with docents tours all free and a lot of fun.

Visited this place in mid October. Wonderful walk through the well cared for environment. Art installations throughout the trail was indeed an added bonus.

Beautiful easy walk and very much worth the short drive from Santa Fe. Great place to take kids such a diverse ecosystem and beautiful pond with lots of frogs!
