The coolest place in the southwest! I absolutely adored Meow Wolf. I was there 4 hours and those 4 hours completely flew by as there is so much to do and SO much to see! Unique, visually stimulating, and a super fun environment to be in. Everything was a thing to marvel at. Even the walls on your way to the bathroom are super cool!!! Cant wait to check out their Denver & Las Vegas locations as soon as they open. These artists are truly special. Check out the art vending machine to buy local art. Also check out the gift shop.
Meow Wolf is an experience that you can only get there! It combines story-telling, fantasy, sci-fi, and some elements of math/science that compels all types of audience. The creativity is mind-blowing, and people can enjoy it as an interactive art museum or solving through the mystery/storyline with clues scattered throughout Meow Wolf. Truly a wonderful time for all ages!
A bit pricey. But this place is absolutely amazing. Id say try at least once, but due to the prices I probably wouldnt go back. Even the gift shop pricing was excessive. I really love art and love to support art but its very hard when things are priced so heavily. Meow Wolf itself was a good experience and one like no other. Its like if Alice in Wonderland was a real place on earth. It really captured the magic and essence of creativity and exploration. I do no regret going here at all. This place is not suitable for those with disabilities. You must be in pretty good shape to get around and go through washing machines and secret portals. The staff here is friendly and the characters are delightful.
This. Is. The. Coolest. Place. EVER! My son and I traveled to Sante Fe just so that we could go here and we loved it! We went two days in a row and I still feel like I still feel like I could have spent at least a week exploring and still not seeing half of it. Its absolutely amazing. I cant wait to go back.
Some experienced can’t be put into words. Meow wolf is one of those. You enter a new world filled with mystery, magic, horror, and love of art. There is nothing like it on the planet. As you walk around you experience a story and if you choose to read and watch videos you can really go deep into that story. I’d love to live here for a week.
I suggest this place to everyone I know. It’s hands down one of my favorite places in the world. I would definitely try to go during off peak hours to fully allow yourself to be immersed in the experience. The best way to describe it is as an interactive art museum. I easily spent 3 hours there my first visit and have visited a few times since then.
So fun you feel like your in a dream but it is real also there maybe a hidden arcade
We drove 11 hours from Ft Worth TX just to spend a day here. It was completely WORTH IT. Such an amazing and unique experience, I’ve never been to any museum or art gallery that was ANYTHING like this place. We wandered around in there for like 3 hours before we had to drive back home and we easily could have spent another 3 hours taking everything in. Everyone needs to check this place out at least once in their life, lol.
Wow! Any chance of visiting Meow Wolf is time well spent. We were there 11:30am till almost 4pm. I think next visit should be a weekend since I could do with less kids and moms running after them. Were looking forward to the Denver version! Simply a fantastic space of creativity and vivid imagination.
Beware of all the suspicious 5 star reviews and all the hype...especially when they have been closed due to COVID...FALSE REVIEWS!!! Not my cup of tea...NOT worth $30/person, its worth more like $1/person. Total letdown. Bring your own hand sanitizer and full face/head respiratory to prevent any illness.(Response to Owner...(Owner, is this your review or my review? Im not preventing you from making a comment, so why should you against me?) I posted this review about Meow Wolf to provide an unbiased opinion for others to see and make an informative decision whether or not to experience Meow Wolf...this is MY opinion NOT your opinion. You may have heard of my rights protected by the U.S. Constitution, called Bill of Rights, thus, my opinion about Meow Wolf is protected under the First Amendment.)
Not sure why it’s advertised as a haunted house. However, this place is so far out of this world. It’s mind blowing going into all the different rooms and thinking of the complexity of effort that went into setting everything up. You can be self guided through a really deep puzzle of a family that went missing and there are different areas where you can solve puzzles to get more clues. If you don’t want to partake in the storyline you can most definitely enjoy the abstract artwork. I want to go back on a weekday when it’s hopefully less busy to try to solve more puzzles.
The best way I can think of to describe this place is like stepping into an eclectics mind while theyre dreaming and roaming from scene to scene to try to make sense of a vaguely connected plot. It was fun! The graphics, sounds, and settings were very well thought out and every corner has something different. Great for adults and kids! Definitely showing some wear and tear though...
Meow Wolf Bark Baaa Moo Neigh!!!!!!!!! This was so much fun!!! I highly recommend doing this at least once. I dont know how often or if they change the immersive art experience but if they do Ill be back. It was such a fun and unique experience. And if you really wanted to you could spend endless hours learning and uncovering the mystery they set forth. We didnt really come close to solving the mystery but still spent 2 hours exploring and having so much fun.P.S. You dont need the 3D glasses they dont really enhance the experience. But they are also less than a dollar so not like it kills the wallet either.
This was the coolest place ever!!! Had so much fun and theres so much to do. Could spend hours upon hours here and never get bored. So much to learn too. Definitely a must do
Highly recommend. You can bring bags inside but they will be checked. Make sure you feel like walking and exploring EVERYTHING! Super cool experience. Cant wait for others to open. Took tons of pics but not ruining it for you! Atmosphere is chill...friendly staff!
Welcome to Wonderland! This is a must stop. Do not talk yourself out of it, its one of the coolest things youll ever do. Our family spent 5 hours inside and didnt even do everything. The cost is $35 for adults and $25 for children ( unless a NM resident).... A steal for this immersive experience. Get ready to have your creative juices flowing and the child inside surface for an escape to a world of pure imagination!
Can be a fun way to spend an afternoon, particularly with family and kids. I have been to other interactive museums that have been more interesting, though.
Really cool spot that is definitely worth checking out. Nothing like you’ve ever seen before. Extremely interactive and you can touch everything which is so fun. My only complaint is how crowded it was, but still worth it.
Meow Wolf is a one of a kind experience! This was the one thing I was looking forward to most in Santa Fe so I knew it was going to be fun, but I didnt realize just how much I would love it. It is so interactive, with hidden things everywhere for you to discover. The art is incredible and its like youre in a new world. I recommend purchasing the 3D glasses, it makes everything come alive and even more trippy. Meow Wolf is great for all ages, and something you should experience at least once in your life.
Blown away by this unique experience! The art is obviously amazing just to look at, but I couldn’t believe how intricate and continuous the storyline is if you really take the time to piece it together. Could have definitely spent longer here if we had the time, and I would love to come back and catch a show here!! Glad to see they’re expanding to other locations :)
This is a very strange place as advertised. I had a good time here whether it be laughing with the art, laughing at the art, or just overall confused. Come with people with a good sense of humor, let your imagination run wild, and you’ll have lots of fun here!
Part fun house, maze, art installation, and haunted house without the jump scares this place has to be seen with your own eyes because words do not do it justice! The amount of creativity and imagination that went into this is amazing and has to be seen in person. My family loved getting lost in it and not knowing what to expect around each corner or behind every door!
Wow. Definitely a one of a kind experience. It was so fun getting to walk around and explore. The exhibit offered so many different experiences: different textures, visual stimulation, and unique music/sounds in the different sections. It did really well at defying my expectations and every turn produced a new surprise.Fully exploring the exhibit does require a good amount of physical mobility. There are a lot of stairs and a good amount of climbing or crouching through different pathways. Some visitors may also have difficulty with some of the tight spaces, but there arent many and there are enough pathways that you can see the whole exhibit while avoiding spaces that might be too tight to fit. As much as it is a visually stimulating exhibit, it also offers so many auditory and tactical experiences that it could be a very fun opportunity for the visually impaired to explore with a guide. All around, I highly recommend.
I want to come back! It was weird, fun, interactive and stimulating. As a tactile person, I loved every single part of it!!
I absolutely love this place. It was amazing my kiddo and I lasted hours in there and it was full of fun. I will definitely be driving other there ever few months to experience the changes they make.
Good lord, what can i say about this...place? experience? drug trip? when you enter this facility, it is normal until you walk through those grand doors to the house...all is normal...until its not! mammoth bones, trippy toilets, an odd cultist, the white gowns, a missing family, a neon town, a room straight from the rubber hose cartoon era, and much, much more! if youre looking for an experience that will leave you weirded out, intrigued, and dazzled, come to Meow Wolf!
Incredibly fun and unique experience with a huge variety of art installations. It would take many visits to see everything and the attention to detail is stunning.Absolutely worth every penny and very family friendly
Unbelievably experience for our 2 year old, the lights and colors are so engaging. We did not however experience the full meow wolf as we could not follow all the clues and writings of the children and the mystery. Maybe next time for that..with a toddler they just was to see and touch and hear. :)
Dude if I could give this place ten stars I would! This is the coolest interactive art installation I have ever been through (full disclaimer it’s the only one I’ve been through) but hey, the bar is set high now.You can tell that a ton of hard work and imagination was put into this place. It’s like a wonderland. I went through it with my mom but I would definitely bring my kids back here.
The experience was fascinating. A bit disorienting at first, but the farther in you go the more you’ll love it. Great for all ages which makes visiting while traveling a breeze. They allow in and out activity so you can leave, eat, and come back to finish. Definitely recommend visiting Meow Wolf. It’s a world of dreams, an abstract reality, and everything whimsical.
Nearly impossible to describe. I feel bad giving only three stars given the incredible effort and overwhelming nature of this genuinely unique attraction. But heres why I only give it 3 stars.Part of this is like an enormous escape room but with the details so deep and so authentic that the immersion could be nearly perfect. Nearly perfect, except there are dozens and dozens and dozens of people all trying at different levels to solve the puzzle while dozens and dozens of screaming, squealing and hollering children run around you. Did I mention some of the clues are audio clues? And the actual mystery you are trying to solve is intriguing but also vague and open ended.Related but somehow separated (the transitions between are AMAZING!) the rest of the attraction is like a demented fun house. The art installations are without peer but one quickly gets over saturated from simply Too. Much. To. See.But see it you should if you can. Im glad I saw it and Im still processing it all. My suggestion to the management is have some adults only nights with no children allowed. Sorry if this offends any families, but even my favorite Science Center, which is clearly geared towards kids, has a grown ups only night once a month.
I had heard a little about Meow Wolf before I got to Santa Fe. But I didnt really know what it entailed. Honestly, I was blown away by the elaborate production here. The experience is meticulously crafted, down to the molecular level. Im in love with the artistic detail on display, its such a unique feeling of spooky childhood creativity. Im going back.
Meow Wolf presents a fascinating collection of artwork to experience in person! The creativity of their exhibitions ate breathtaking, and well worth the price of a visit. If your looking for a art experience that is excitingly new and a break from the norm of walking through a museum try Meow Wolf!
This place was a lot of fun. This was recommended by a relative and it did not disappoint. I brought the entire family (5) and they all enjoyed their time here. Its very interactive and hands-on. There are surprises around every corner. Its a really fun place that you could spend an entire day visiting od you wanted
Awesome place with interactive art installations. You can easily be lost here for hours and still want be amazed. The transition from installation to installation is seamless. Meow Wolf a unique and unforgettable experience that has something for everyone. This was my first time coming and I was not disappointed. The photos dont do it justice. If you like unique and modern art, do yourself a favor and visit Meow Wolf.
This place was crazy cool! Get your tickets online before you go, faster entrance. Tickets are different for out of state visitors. Plan on several hours of fun adventure. Things to walk and crawl through. Climb, touch feel and make music with all the are. Everything leads you somewhere . Fun for the whole family! I must see if in the area. These artist are off the chain!Concession area and gift shop.
This place is everything I ever wanted to find in my closet as a kid. It made me feel like the universe could be infinite and wonderful again. To enjoy Meow Wolf to the fullest, Id recommend reserving a time slot online at least a day before you visit. If you dont like crowds, try going during the day on a week day. I went around noon on a Thursday, and there were still a lot of people, but I didnt feel overwhelmed. We stayed til 5pm, with a break for lunch at the food trucks in the parking lot, and some very intense lattes at the cafe/bar inside. When we went back in after lunch, we found THREE ROOMS we hadnt seen in our first two-hour walk through. I highly recommend picking up and looking through everything. Even if youre not there to solve the mystery, its a gingerbread house of art. I would absolutely go back for another 5 hours (or more). Also - they do have a single-stall gender neutral restroom!
This is definitely out of this world. Make sure to take your time and really enjoy it. Wouldnt advise going on the weekend. It gets super crowded and hard to really appreciate it all with teenagers running around all over the place.
Id wanted to go to Meow Wolf ever since I first heard about it a year ago. When I found myself in Santa Fe for the day, I had to make time to go see it. I was not disappointed. It was totally awesome. I loved it. My 73-year-old dad loved it. The many children running around seemed to love it. It was a fantastic art exhibit, experience and adventure. Highly recommend!!
Amazing, beautiful exhibits all created by local artists. The story that they wove and the collaboration it took to make this masterpiece is definitely worth a visit. Absolute love.
Its like an escape room but not. Its a very interactive art museum that will overwhelm your senses. Lots of fun the more time you spend there the more you will see and get out of the experience. Can be good for older children and adults. Younger children will enjoy the exploration of it all but will not understand the puzzles and story going on around for the most part.
Awesome place to visit. Very different then usual amusement parks. Very creative and versatile. We had lot of fun there. If you’re visiting Santa fe, then this place is a must visit. Don’t miss it. It is worth going. Just need 3-4 hours to visit this place. Would highly recommend it.
Very cool experience in Santa Fe! I was pleasantly surprised. It was mind blowing and entertaining. Lots of people there but I didn’t mind. Worth a visit and a good 2 hours there atleast!
If you are an artful person looking for a very cool eclectic combination of artistic fun or a lover of mystery, this place is for you. Fun for all ages. There are some twisted staircases and surprising tunnels that lead to some awesome surprises and new adventures. Prepare to come and stay for a while. Either come and stay for hours, or come for a while and return. Or if you are just wanting some cool sites, come and expore and go. But no matter what, come and sit back and be amazed. Enjoy!
The whole place is a work of art that you get to experience in every sense. One of the most interesting aspects is that the whole thing has one big narrative behind it, the place tells a story and each room is a consequence of that story, is a very unique concept. If youre going to go make sure you have time to spare.
Meow Wolf is an amazing interactive museum of mystery. So much story and lore behind all the interesting and captivating exhibits. My favorite thing to do is go to shows for some of the best artist for intricate heavy bass and alternative indie music. There is always so many amazing people who come out to these events! I feel a strong connection to this place and the community and I will always cherish that. If youre looking for something to do in Santa Fe, definitely go to Meow Wolf for an extraordinary experience.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Words cant describe this. You must see and experience for yourself. My favorite rooms were the China Town district where dancers engaged in visitors with hula hoops and the house itself. You can spend 2 hours here or 6. Up to you.
I didn’t know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised when we got inside. This place is amazing
This place has a lot of hype but it wasn’t something I would ever come back too. We went on a Saturday so it was busy, make sure you reserve tickets online. It is pretty cool some stuff but not for the amount of money you pay. Maybe I am just not into these kind of things but it’s not something I will remember forever. There is even kind of a puzzle people are trying to figure out, I actually thought that was pretty neat how people were really into solving the puzzle.
New Mexico is my absolute favorite place in the world. We moved away in to NJ in 2004, and I wasn’t able to visit again until last summer, 2019. I took 3 of my children, and we crammed in as much as possible on our almost-cross-country-road trip. Meow Wolf was one of the highlights - I took my two teenage boys, 13 and 15, and they LOVED it - we didn’t know exactly what to expect but even if someone tried to explain, there are no words to accurately describe it - like describing a dream. I plan on taking my oldest there when the pandemic is over. One of my sons begged to stay another entire day. Profoundly inspiring. It’s appropriate for any age, although we opted to have our two year old and her dad go swimming instead because she’s autistic and the sensory stimulation would’ve short circuited her! You HAVE to check this out. People have complained about the price but to this I can only offer up the challenge to compare this experience with a the hundreds if not thousands of dollars people spend on things like corporate theme parks with hours of waiting in line, professional sports events with ticket prices that are shameful, or even eating out one night - you’re supporting art and artists - so really the price is absolutely reasonable. Gift shop is pricey but I still bought some things to support local artists
This place is so unexpected and go with an open mind. Initially, we though its more for big kids and grown ups, but surprisingly my little ones had a blast. Its a big expensive. But worth trying one time every few years.
Went with my family for Father’s Day and we had a great time. My girls loved being able to go through all the hidden door ways. I had my baby in a carrier and most of the pathways are convenient, there were just a few that were too low or too narrow to go through with the baby. The bathrooms were clean and all bathrooms have a changing table. We definitely recommend it and plan on going again. And you can even get tickets ahead of time at their website.
Order your tix online or through your phone, its super easy and did it when I arrived. Fun place to visit with various with alternative passages and things to see. Spent a lot of time walking around admiring the visuals but you can definitely spend even longer trying to follow the story and interactive stuff. I spent almost 2 hours. The dryer machine slide seems so much bigger in my mind when seeing all the social media posts. Taco cart out front had great Al Pastor y Jarritos.
Come in here with lots of time! We went with the kids(6,3&1). I’m glad we did they had such a great time with the interactive installations but also wished we did not so we could’ve explored each one with a whole lot time. I think it’s even more fun when you have a a couple glasses of beers before entering from their bar! Will definitely want to come back when we have a chance!
This place is definitely not for everyone. If youre into solving fake crimes and looking at a bunch of random art then youll be fine. I thinks there is too much junk lying around to even be remotely interested in the mystery of the house. There is definitely no mystery that this place is overpriced. $30 for each person (non NM resident) is excessive. The art was ok to look at but not worth the price.
Absolutely incredible! I could have spent all day here exploring. Will definitely be back
After much debate on whether I should visit this place or not, I decided to bite the bullet. I drove all the way from Dallas so I was really hoping it wasnt going to be overhyped or that Id be mildly disappointed. I want to note that I went on a Saturday night after 6 pm so it was significantly less crowded than I assume the daytime would be. We had a blast exploring all of the different rooms that they had. At one point we werent sure if we had gone through all of them but we went through the entire place over and over until we made sure we got every nook and cranny. We stayed right up until closing. It was nothing like I thought it would be, in fact it was so much more than that. It is incredibly overpriced but honestly it was worth every penny after we got lost in there. Its was paradoxical and my friend felt a type of way after we left. Hard to describe. And to be frank, nothing really can describe it. Its an experience you have to check out for yourself. If youre thinking about making the drive to come here I approve of this message.
The coolest place I’ve been in US! So good! Mixture of art, science, mystery, colors, ...it’s a must visit if you are traveling to Santa Fe or around.
A friend suggested that I visit this place and I’m glad I did. The creativity required to create something like this is on the verge of genius... or maybe it just is. I did not know much about it before showing up and really enjoyed it. It’s amazing how much is packed into the place, both in number of rooms and in story telling. You could spend a lot of time there if you wanted to figure out the mystery.... maybe I’ll do that next time I come. It was pretty busy when I went... It would likely be more enjoyable to go at a less busy time, but it is definitely well worth the visit regardless!
Super great fun day with the kiddo. This place will blow your mind. If you get the chance stop in and have an adventure!!!!
Meowwolf: House of the eternal return is an interactive art installation/fun house/sometime-music venue..with a backstory. There is no hand-holding here. You explore on your own and take from it whatever you like. Want to “solve” the mystery? You will do a lot of reading/research in each of the many rooms. Want to just casually walk around? There are tons of fun spots to sit down and take in the atmosphere (music, black lights, video games, etc). Tip: BUY YOUR TIME-SPECIFIC TICKETS IN ADVANCE. This place sells out. And attempts to control crowds by sporadic entry. Come early if you want to have the place mostly to yourself. Tip 2: The $1 glasses work even better in photos.
This is one of those places where words simply cant do it justice. I was here for a corporate event but couldnt help but think how much my kids would have enjoyed this. Experience it with an open mind, dont trust your lying eyes, and touch everything because much of it isnt as it seems.
Note for families: we took our four kids ages 17, 14, 11, and 9. The teens liked the experience but the younger kids were less impressed. However, this place is really incredible so if you choose to bring younger kids this is what I would recommend — don’t push the storyline/mystery aspect with 12 yrs old and younger. Just encourage them to enjoy exploring all the unique and interactive spaces. They’ll have fun and teens/adults can focus on the questions at hand.
What a fantastic and unique experience! My friends and I drove up from El Paso to come and see this place and it did not disappoint! You have to get the 3D glasses that they offer you for an extra $1 it really amplifies the surreal experience. Everything was so unique and a great experience. It was like following a crazy story that lead to different worlds! We loved it, highly recommend it.
We are in our 60s and really enjoyed it. We wished we had more time to spend there. 2 hours was not enough. Would like to try the one in Denver.
This is absolutely one of my favorite things! It has all the things I love in art. Interactivity, bizarreness, playing with perception and senses.Went there and spent the entire of the day with friends. Im pretty sure Ill need another full day to try to decipher the underlying puzzle. With being there 10-8 we only just managed to explore the entirety (we think) of the exhibit. We were still finding new surprises and details in areas wed visited multiple times before.Beyond that there are still hours and pages of backstory material to cover.I only wish there were a place at the gift shop where one had an opportunity to hug some of the artists. They should add that.Wish it had the option for 10 stars.
Stunning fun. Alice in Wonderland goes to Burning Man... Exploration around every corner. Many different forms of artistic expression - many interactive (laser harps, radioactive marbles), much use of Black light and fluorescent materials. Multi story, many tight places. Hidden elements and buried story and riddle. A lovely experience. Expect to spend at least 2, and likely more like 3-4 hours.
Really pretty colors everywhere and it has a pretty awesome story as well. I thoroughly enjoyed all 5 hours that I spent and the amount of time that I could continue to spend is unfathomable. Id go check it out more often if possible and get more photos out of it, but as a first timer I definitely recommend this place as a key attraction in New Mexico.
Ppl lan on spending at minimum 2 hours here. It truly is Alice in Wonderland for adults. Experiential, photos can’t do it justice.
What an amazing adventure! You have to go through multiple times. The first time through we just admired and played. The we started all over again and followed the story in our own way. Even the story allows you to use your imagination. This place proves why the Arts need to part of core curriculum.
It was fun my kids liked it.... itll take you a couple hours ..I rated it 4 stars because its super pricey especially if youre not a local resident!.. I paid $82 that was with a $5 veterans discount for myself and 2 kids.... And then they closed a portion of the bottom off for a concert that we were not informed about you had to pay additional to go into that part obviously I didnt.
Super unique place in Santa Fe New Mexico. Abstract, weird, unique interactive museum.
I have visited Santa Fe several times, but finally made the time to check it out. Kinda of pricey, but worth it. I spent several hours here and cant wait to bring my friends back. Must see attraction!
A super cool place. but you need to go at early business hours - otherwise you need to wait in long waits. You might also want to buy tickets online - so that you end taking shorter line instead of general line. Good for entire family members. lot to cover and enjoy the place . you might miss some things as it might be confusing at some point as what you covered or not . parking is also cozy and you might want to park elsewhere if you come late.
An excellent interactive art exhibit. Could easily spend an entire day exploring. Perfect for adults and kids.
One of the best adaptions of a classic/traditional concept (art) for the digital age. Was loved by 3 generations from elementary age kids to grandparents.
Was an interesting place, but it’s price... worth it?
Amazing sight to see. So many vivid colors it’s amazing
Fun place definitely a different way to spend a few hours! Drinks are available but the space to have them is very congested and confined unfortunately, all and all a good experience. Cant wait to see what they see up with for the Denver area.
I have never been to a place like Meow Wolf and i dont know how to describe or categorize it, but I will try...At the center of meow wolf is a house which forms the backdrop for a mystery, and the visitors are challenged to solve the mystery by interacting with, and learning from their surroundings. The decor of Meow Wolf is straight out of a sci-fi fever dream, and is crafted lovingly by the artists in Santa Fe. Do plan your visit to avoid rush hours as the experience is better when the crowd is less.
There are not enough words to explain the whole fantastic, interactive, visually stimulating, never ending experience!!! We were allowed to step outside to food trucks to regenerate! Well worth it, to have the energy to explore the rest of the exhibits/rooms!I think we saw most of it. There are so many crooks, crannies, hidden rooms and spaces! It is an absolute marvel! The best display of mixed art I have ever seen!!! Amazing creativity!
One of the weirdest, most interesting places Ive ever been. We got 3-D glasses and I liked having them, but I dont know that they were essential (that being said, they were only $1.) This being our first time, we just wandered, but if I were to go back, I would try to follow the familys story. Worth a visit and I didnt notice anything scary, so I think it could be great for kids, too. Definitely a lot of walking and stairs, with optional crawling /crouching. Not friendly to those who have a hard time getting around.
Soooo cool! Best experience Ive had in a long time!! Dont even know how to describe how great this place is! A MUST SEE!!! Cant wait for Denver location to open!
This place is amazing there are so many things to look at that we didnt even realize that there is an entire story line that goes along with House of eternal return. We took our five children here after a long road trip about 12 days and this is one of the highlights. The rooms are created by artist who came together to develop this immersion Museum. Traveling from the house through dryers fireplaces and refrigerators while exploring the Multi Universe that branches off in every direction is unreal. We had an incredible time and since we have looked into the storyline behind the house and would like to go back to explore this location in a different way to find out more about the family and the information behind the charter and Selig/Pastore family.
It is an absolute WONDERLAND, and each time I go I discover even more! Everything is so well linked and put together, the level of effort into this is amazing. The atmosphere here is one of discovery with so many themes in so many dimensions. Theres a sense that you want to find as much as possible and see everything, discover and explore everything. This place is heaven if you love wonder, lore dives, and discovery! As well as cool art!
This place was so much fun if I didn’t do any other thing in Santa Fe other than go visit I would still be happy. The artwork and imagination it took to put this place together is amazing. I found that the people were very nice and the whole experience was exceptionally well organized. One word of caution, for those that come from out of town, remember that Santa Fe is at 7k feet of elevation, so between the darkness, the flashing, moving around and tight spaces, You may not feel up to seeing the entire experience. The House of Eternal Return is very aptly named.
Meow Wolf is an incredible experience for both young and old. Our six-year-old absolutely loved it and didnt want to leave. There is no doubt that we wont be able to pass Santa Fe again without stopping in at Meow Wolf. Very much looking forward to the Denver location opening. What is Meow Wolf? Well, its a series of rooms and adventures you experience by roaming around and exploring. In all, there are about 70 rooms to explore. Our son’s favorite experience was the washing machine slide or the neon dancing floor or the laser harp or well he enjoyed it all.
Exceptionally eclectic but very entertaining. Would recommend it to all ages. The amount of artistic ingenuity and design ideas are beyond ones imagination. The capability to create an interesting sphere of exploration is beyond words. Definitely see it for yourself. Look at and touch everything.
Cool tourist attraction. Fun, unique, and whimsical design. Spendy ticket price for entry at $25pp. Overall a fun interactive experience.
The surreal madness and eerie beauty of the imagination expressed in this must-see attraction was so brilliant, haunting and trippy.
Holy mother frickin wow!!!! I love interactive art exhibits, so I was hooked from the first viral video I saw online of this place. I loved the story, the rooms, the portals, and of course that gift shop. The art is stunning, fun, and ethereal. I enjoyed solving puzzles with strangers and discussing our theories. It was a blast! If you get the chance, GO! I bought a ticket 2 days prior to when I planned to go, and it sold out immediately. Also, the gift shop has items made by local artists. Please support them!
A super engaging and impressive interactive art exhibit. Theres a mysterious and psychedelic feel to all of it. Took us about 2 hours to see, taking our time as adults. Great for families, too. Be playful and have fun! The price seemed steep but it was wonderful and unique and Im glad to see them expanding to other cities.
A great place to have fun!!
Such a cool place in Santa Fe NM. More than a museum this is an art installation from many artists, huge installation I must say. Be ready to enter another dimension full of colors, lights and geometry. Love the place, worth the drive from anywhere in the US, cant wait for the Denver and Vegas installations.
Loved it! We spent about seven hours there and I still feel like Id need another days inside to answer some of the questions I still have.
Wow!!! This place is amazing! Artistic expression at its finest. Our 4, 12 and 15 year old kids loved it as much as we did. We planned our vacation destination around Meow Wolf and it was worth it.
I took my brother to Meow Wolf 4 months ago and he loved it my brother is autistic. I went to Meow Wolf during the summer when my older sister came to visit and since then he had been wanting to go so I said okay in August I took him and he was amazed. Even when your done there is a souvenir shop and a little bar and cafe. And now my brother wants to go back again but this time we will go with our cousins when they come down for the holidays.
What can I say about this place. Simply amazing. Were from Colorado and cant wait to see it again. Im really looking forward to seeing the Denver location once it opens!
Meow Wolf may be one of the hardest places to review. I remember when we first visited a few years ago and was desperately trying to figure out what exactly Meow Wolf was and why it has such good ratings. After visiting however I understand why it can be hard to get a good grasp as to what you’re getting yourself into. Honestly though, I’m glad it’s that way. Meow Wolf is so unique and difference reading other people’s perspectives on it could get in the way of your own imagination. So I’m going to keep this review short and basic. If you’re in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area, you should definitely go out of your way to make a visit to Meow Wolf. If you’ve got kids they will absolutely love it, although you may find it difficult to keep track of them at times. Prices are extremely fair and discounts are regularly offered to New Mexico residents. Also, open the fridge.
Very cool and unique, great place to take out of town guests and awesome for kids. Weekdays are a better choice for avoiding long lines. There’s a couple of food trucks outside the venue with tasty tacos that take credit cards and a restaurant/ bar inside that I haven’t tried. It’s definitely sensory overload, so be careful if you’re sensitive or prone to migraines.
