Beautiful sprawling mountain landscape with a mix of trails both improved and unimproved. Plenty of parking at the trailhead. No water or bathrooms. Dog friendly.

Lake level is good. Restrooms were sparkly clean!

This is one of my favorite off the grid hiking trails. Nice open land just like the land originally used to be before the Spanish came and colonized the area. Open fields with beautiful trees in the valleys.

Theres a whole Chumash spiritual vibe here, blessed be their earth knowledge in cohabitatin wit Mother Gaia!

Good trails and in close proximity to town. You can walk and walk and walk and walk...Incredible views. Id even call them VISTAS. I mean, people come and PAINT them-with easels and everything!Beautiful hills (I want to say they remind me of the Tuscan Hills, but I dont know). I just know its a beautiful view. And then turn around? And youve got the Channel-and on clear days, sometimes you can actually even SEE it! Hahahahaha.But seriously-beautiful scenic views. Nature at some of her finest.

Beautiful open space just minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. Fabulous ocean and Mountain View’s. Walking trails, wildlife, birds, flowers. Dogs on the leash welcome.

360* views of Santa Barbara. Easy walking trails up until a 45* incline midway. Dog friendly as long as you have them on leash. Please be courteous and pick up after your pup. There are a few shady spots, but mostly full sun. Beautiful. Sorry no pics.

Great hiking trails.....secluded and no bathrooms.

Great walk. Saw a coyote and lots of bunnies. Brought home a tick, though.

This is a cool reserve to walk through. Probably one of the better hidden gem walking trails in Santa Barbara.

Beautiful location for a photoshoot or walking your dog out near wine country. A bit crowded during the later evening and by nightfall you have teenagers driving in and out being loud and obnoxious doing God-knows-what in their cars.
