Pier, wood planks, clavos in the wood planks, Seagulls, Pigeons, food stains, expansive ocean views, sunrise, sunset, breeze, perfect days to yoga, walk or unwind makes this particular Pier special. One of the most incredible weekends at Harbor Inn Hotel, just 1 block from the Pier.Good old school pier shacks to wine, dine, and shine. Lots to do.Romantic fun and welcoming.Go get some Pier!Cheers.
Very quite and relaxable beach with low tide and small waves just like being on a river. Though water seems clear, i see many debris not sure whether comes from oil platforms in a distance. We had a good relaxing time with kids. Also kayak and paddle board tour is available here which is a very interesting point.
A nice walk out to the end of the pier. There are a number of little shops and restaurants out there and lots of people fishing. The views are great, but if you want to sit down, watch out for splinters and seagull poop.
The Santa Barbara Pier is very nice and worth a visit if in Santa Barbara. You can drive out on to the pier and park and enjoy the multiple restaurants and shops. The views of the Santa Barbara shoreline and mountains on a clear day are spectacular! You can also park on the main road for 90 minutes and walk to the end of the pier and back in about 20 minutes or less.
You can easily spend a good hour here just by walking around. The sea food market has fresh caught sea urchins. Super delicious and super fresh. There are lots of bathrooms here and there. Small but it will do the job. Nice view. Worth going.
Great pier. Lots to look at, good selection of restaurants. Great to walk, but can also drive on and park.
Regardless the pandemic situation, I saw 90% of responsible people wearing a mask and enjoying the California sun and activities, great day, great place
A nice little walk to the end of the pier. You can also drive and park for a fee. Nice restaurants to eat at. The Sea discovery center is also located on the pier. I will definitely go back sometime.
My family and I had fun walking the pier. Its so long, even cars can drive on it. Great view of the ocean. Pigeons, sea gulls and pelicans were flying around and walking the deck!
It was awesome! Dined at the Harbor. Food was excellent! Best Calamari Ive ever eaten. My daughter had the Wipeout! Yes it wipes you out! Lol. Good times really great atmosphere and great service. Very nice decor! I definitely recommend this place.
Beautiful scenery. Lots of cute stores and places to eat. Must visit their aquarium!
Beautiful clean beach and nice pier. I went to eat at a restaurant on the pier and got seafood tacos and then got some icecream at the icecream shop. Both places are handling the current situation very well by social distancing. We parked on the pier which was convenient and cheap.
I thought there would be more on the pier but what was there was fine enough. Most of the restaurants were overpriced but the merchants were great, the fishing was good and the views were spectacular!
Beautiful place en exelente wether
I think this might be the nicest pair of its type that Ive ever been on. Very pleasant nice not too many people but that might be covered actually just the right amount of people not too busy certainly not slow but a little gentle kind pace and the staff had a few of these places actually every place has been delightful nice genuinely friendly.Well capped as well first 90 minutes of parking is free Drive to the end and walk around little babies quite lovely Even got to talk to the maintenance workers who scuba dive and take care of the piles and etc
What a wonderful experience thanks to associates at longborad on the Santa Barbara pier. I will definitely be recommending this location to all my friends and associates at Bis Tech international computerSincerelyMr CastilloCFO of Bis-Tech
It is a cute rustic warf. There are few restaurants serving seafood and fresh seasonal crab. Theres parking right on the pier, 90 minutes free, and a public restrooms. Do not expect anything too fancy. However, if you enjoy simple things, ocean view and breeze, its a spot to go. Psssst..... dont forget to grab a jacket, may be little windy
Enjoyed being able to drive and park on the pier. The free 90 minutes parking is great.
Perfect place to relax and enjoy the perfect weather affordable boat ride
Great place to find souvenirs and enjoy the oceanview!
Parking is cheap & plentiful. Dont miss the shops at the end, especially Shells & Rocks. The proprietor was very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the items in her shop.
Great llace to walk around and relax for the day. Food was delicious and the vibe is definitely relaxing
Great place to go with elderly family member, for the coastal drive and various delicious evening meal once upon arrival in a pleasant cool weather.
Santa Barbara is one of the prettiest towns in the country I think. And if you walk to the end of the pier there are some good restaurants with amazing views. Just follow state street to the water and enjoy a leisurely walk to the end of the pier.
Peaceful & Pleasant That Part
Nice, peaceful and the food was great! Very clean as well.
Amazing presentation and fresh. Oysters. Ordered another half dozen.
Nice pier. You can drive on it. Park. Grab a bite and a drink or two. Shop and even go parasailingWeather was great. People not to bad. Most are wearing face coverings.
Very cool atmosphere, many people around fishing and walking
Great weather, easy to walk around, very spread out
Nice and relaxing place to spend alone or with love ones...
This pier is in a great location for vacationers and locals alike. Many nice hotels are just across the street and there are many great restaurants around the area. There is paid parking on the pier that will allow you to get close to the restaurants without having to walk. The views are excellent and the pier has a walk path on it so you dont have to walk in the road with cars.
Compliant with COVID-19. Wear your masks & stay 6 ft apart. Still had fun.
Place to visit n enjoy ocean views
Nice place, confortable, and very good to walk
This was our first time to Santa Barbara pier.My wife and I loved it!
Nice place for family outing and fun. The walkways are nice and are adjacent to beach. The pier is having a set of decent restaurants along with gift shops. There are a series of cruise services which people can opt for, that depends on the season usually. Its a good place for surfers and the enthusiasts for kayaking. A bright day, sunny with nice breeze makes this a must visit place.
Crowd is great on a Thursday afternoon. Salad at Moby is good. Parking was easy.
Since it is free to walk out there, you should. The shops and restaurants are strictly aimed at tourists and are unlikely to generate a return visit, but if you know that and still want to eat on a pier, do so. State Street offers a much broader array of better dining and shopping options...
Beautiful setting for a stroll up the pier and a bite to eat.
Much smaller than expected. But overall really nice.
We were able to go on the bikes we rented so it was pretty cool to catch a break on the tip of the pier while eating ice cream.
Great restaurants and views! Dont forget the Aquarium!
We love this place. The pier, the beach, restaurants, sceneries and overlook of the ocean.
Beautiful walk. Great fun activity for all families.
Pretty views of Santa Barbara from here. Restaurants and other retail available. 90 minute free parking.
Its a beautiful place that is a must p if youre some out of town
I visited stanta barbra after 10 years was shocked to see that they commercialized it so much and made it a pier style.. like fisherman wharf... it no lo ger has nice quaint town feeling it once had..its gotten way too commercialized and crowded.. the endless gold coast beach is now missing
First 90 minutes free to drive and park on pier to enjoy the restaurants, telescope, fishing. Nice place to take a breather with ocean views and fresh air.
You can fish off the pier, eat and drink at great restaurants.
Very nice place to pee people are friendly just a little bit more on the pier to make it more exciting as I went to visit
Move pier.. been there for years. Nothings changed. Cute shops to buy trinkets
Down the road from down town. Great place to get an ice cream cone and take a walk.
Fun spot, I rode my bike out on the pier, its bumpy but still fun.
Always love SB pier. Great that they finally put rails at the end of the pier.
Nice place with easy drive up incase some one has a hard time walking. Food, small shops, finishing, whale watching or boat rides available. Great for all ages.
Nice to be able to park on the pier. Three or four restaurants and a few stores and an aquarium are there.
Best part is you need to drive your car from the wooden pier for parking... wounderful place for hangout... you can even have the 90min free parking...
Absolutely beautiful! Safe family fun
Sea Center is special! Great volunteers who were guided
Great beach! Sand & surf! Some good restaurants.
Gotta love Santa Barbara. Been here since 1969.
Lovely! Not busy on a Monday. I wish they wouldnt let cars on it.
If you enjoy a relaxing walk or getaway, santa barbara is a must! Great ocean views and beutiful location.
The Pier and the dining were good. The bad part about Santa Barbara is that if you need to use the restroom you are out of luck. Nobody lets you use their restrooms had no luck at all the gas stations, fast food locations and even the stores.
Santa Barbara Pier is a must when in Santa Barbara / my favorite eat joint is at the end of the Pier, just before the bait shack / fish, shrimp and lobster fresh out of the ocean .
Nice pier! Wish there wasnt vehicle parking and traffic on the actual pier which can make it feel a bit cramped. Good selection of restaurants and shops and a small museum too.
We went parasailing and it was great... employees were magnificent and courteous
Nice walk to the end of the pier. Or you can pay and park ashe end of the pier
Sun set and sea food the best...
Didnt realize how big it was. The benches, the views, the quiet also. So peaceful and beautiful!
So crowded on a Sunday. Do NOT drive onto the Pier, the parking is do full and its a slow crawl behind every car trolling for a spot. Slow leaving too
Nice place for a family getaway..
Nice and relaxing .
You can drive your car up all the way to the Pier which I think is unique in all the coastal pier of California. The hippo knows!
We love it. Is so beautiful specialy if you go with the family. So relaxing the air you breath awesome.
Loved the Pier... Had a Good time Weather was nice!! See food Resturant was very Good !!
Great beach city and lots to do on the pier. Best part is that you can park on the pier for 90 min for free. This place has cool little shops and a few cool places to eat. You can rent fishing pools and do some fish too.If not eating lunch or dinner you can enjoy this place in about 1hour. Great photo opportunity too. Enjoy!!
Crowded even on an overcast windy day. Really nice area to walk around
The pier is nice with a variety of different gift shops and restaurants to check out including lots of good sea food options. The Santa Barbara shellfish company is a cute little place to eat good seafood. We took our kids to the Sea center which was fun and educational. Parking right on the pier is the most convenient and was reasonably priced.
It was my first time going to santa barbara and it was really good,a lot of places to visit.
Great day to walk the pier and take in the fresh ocean air. Beautiful view of the sea and the boats. Not everyone wearing a mask but people did practice social distancing.
Always Great Views from on top of the Waterfront. #BlessedLife
Gorgeous place, beautiful views and delicious seafood. I love this pier!
Very nice and relaxing place to go to . The views and temperature dazzle me
Nice place to walk, eat and rest. Parking lot and restrooms are available. Good food and enviroment. Close to the Santa Barbara Downtown.
We visited on our way north to the Central Coast. The pier, although it was 4th of July weekend, was accommodating as it offered valet parking and self parking. Once parked, the quaint shops housed at the pier retain visitor interest. There are wine tasting rooms, candy stores, ice cream shop, restaurants, souvenir shops, tarot card reading, historical markers, natural museum, ocean views, clean restrooms and more. Parking was free for the first 90 min. We spent approximately 90 minutes on this pit stop.
Beautiful pier with a beautiful atmosphere and Frost on the guitar for entertainment.
Excellent food and even better service. Will be going back often.
Wonderful wok on a Sunday take a stroll down cabrillo and enjoy the local art.Its called the art Walk and if you Google the blue water grill you can come down and enjoy some terrific local artwork. Walk down the pier at the end of state Street but allow some time its a nice leisurely stroller with a beautiful view and normal expensive shops.
Great place to wander. Loads of artist selling their work. Go early. Gets crowded after 11am.
