We spent the day with the McBickers in downtown Sanford and we had such fun. Between the shops and the market there was lots to see and do. Be sure to check out the water front area and all the unique shops. My favorite spot was the Jeanine Taylor Folk Art Gallery, the Gallery on First, Magpies Store and the Hollerbach’s various shops and restaurant. We didn’t expect to see a Biden Harris shop around the corner of Magpies but there it was. Take part in history and VOTE VOTE VOTE!

Sanford is a great place to walk about and enjoy the river. The fishermen/women are friendly and nice snacks are never too far away.

Downtown Sanford is so charming you must go there excellent restaurant exit ambiance just so much fun

We love to hang out here..dont even really know why..just relaxing. We swing by Captain Ds got dinner then drove down to the river sat in our van and ate...it was nice..great breeze off the he water. There were lots of people but plenty of distance that way. Even found a friend to share some with

I lived here for 2 months and I only wish I can move back for good. You get the best of both worlds here. Nice little city life if you go to the downtown area, the big like is right there and you can walk on the waters edge and get beautiful views. Or you can hang by the neighborhoods as there are parks on almost every corner, including a free dog obstacle park!

Its was beautiful view to watch there,with the river slashing,people out fishing and sitting in chairs enjoying the day,sun,fishing,and down town scenery!!.

Sanford is a Beautiful & Historical city that has a Laid Back Charm with Friendly People & Fun Cafes & many Natural Features like the Waterfront.

Technically I was in Geneva, but still great. I love this area of Florida. Been visiting my familys house on the St Johns since I was born. Glad the area hasnt changed too much in the last 30 years.

Take a lunch and sit out on the benches, watch the sail boats and jet skiers, and enjoy a piece of Gods Heaven here on earth

Very cute Downton area with awesome places to eat and shop, I definitely suggest you stop by. Plus Monroe lake is really cool. The only negative is that the surrounding areas dont look very safe. .

I love how its under Sanford, FL but honestly this is one of the prettiest parts of the northern Seminole County area. Would recommend for anyone, especially family.Its highly walkable, encourages exercise and outdoor socializing, and its right next to downtown Sanford which is just a fun little jaunt anyway.

It is so beautiful and relaxing by the water. They also have an area with different types of shops and restaurants. Love the stores and all the unique things you can find. Havent tried any of the restaurants yet but hoping to do so in the near future.

I live in Orlando, but work in Seminole County. I like the atmosphere and the attractions that I visit. The Water Front & Fort Mellon Park. Nice places.

A quaint town, if you like bar hopping you will never have a problem downtown. There are more bars then anything downtown. The waterfront looks nice, except fighting blind mosquitoes.

The downtown was totally disappointed.

Its Floridas gem. The diamond in the rough. From the cobblestone roads, to the Im home feeling you get by looking in the windows of local shops... youll never want to leave. Its comfy, cozy, and the locals treat you like youre a local. I love this little city so much!!

I love Sanford. The St Johns River is beautiful. The city has done a great job beautifying the area downtown around the park & river. They put bench seating and Pavilions in a while back and its a nice place to either take a stroll or have a party for your kids. Theres some appealing restaurants/bar establishments around the area & its a pleasant laid back atmosphere.

Scenic location, great for kids and families. The park in this area is awesome, huge and large variety great for kids of all ages. Featuring a large splash pad, I think there may be a nominal $2-$3 entry fee. You can park your vehicle, walk around and enjoy lunch at the local pizza shop. Sit by the beautiful pier/docks while enjoying the waterfront & breeze. Great for pictures as well, particularly when the flowers are in bloom during Spring/Summer. There is also a boat river tour, which I believe serves lunch and dinner. Recommend this area for families. The parks also regularly features family events with food trucks or other local artists, etc. We once accidentally stumbled upon an antique car show, which was pretty coolEspecially if youre into cars, were not however still had a great time.

Not worth the risk of your life.Gun shots every hour.Police corruption.Addicts.Huge Homeless presence.Old,mold riddled apartments.Car robberies.Horrible Traffic.AWFUL, DANGEROUS, AND FILTHY

Visited Smash comics and games and enjoyed walking around the lake by the civic center.
