Im a little confused. I just left from there and didnt get out of car. The pictures I see ppl taking isnt what I saw m DO YOU HAVE TO WALK IN THE WOODS TO FIND IT? THIS IS ALL I SAW

Very interesting place. Much hidden history.The only remaining Iron Furnace in the NC Piedmont.

Absolutely a magnificent structure and historical furnace. It needs to be rebuilt and the surrounding area should be a park.

Trail gate locked and trail looked over grown. Didnt go any further.

Just like the other guy said - chained up and overgrown. Not sure what is going on here. Aug 12 2018
