Bathrooms, multiple drinking fountains, paved trail around the park great for walking or biking with exercise equipment around the trail (also a dedicated area with exercise equipment), new playground about 1.5 yrs ago, basketball court, baseball field, tennis courts, multiple pavilions with picnic tables. Great place to hang out. Hasnt been crowded lately, easy to maintain social distancing.

Decent park with tennis courts, racquetball courts, softball field, upgraded playgrounds, pavilions, bathrooms, workout stations and walking trail. Only problem here is its inhabited by homeless people and there is a homeless camp in the woods next to the park. Sorry ball field is not kept up either.

Its a really nice park. It has a basketball court, a really nice playground for the little children, an excercise area with some equipment and even a pavilion for gatherings and celebrations.

My first time here. Very well kept. Every type of activity, something for everyone. Pickleball, tennis, basketball, baseball, walking trails, 2 kid playgrounds, exercise equipment and pavilions.

There are shady trees and its fenced in. Secure area with a walking trail, tennis court, racquet ball court, exercise equipment, and play ground with handicap swing. One of my favorite places.

We ball here every Saturday & Sunday morning ....tennis courts are nice, baseball field perfect for a good game of baseball, softball, kickball, pavilions perfect for parties and very spacious

Best park to go to play football because of the wide open space

Great improvement of the park! This use to be my least favorite park to go to. Now I look forward to it. The tennis courts are repaved with new Pickle Ball courts added and the children playhouse have new and cool jungle gym houses that look like something out of a fairytale. Water also drain from the softball field much better as well. It use to be a problem after a good rain but the additional drainage lines have been a great help. Im giving it 5 stars for the major improvements.

Came to bring my kid to one of her friends birthday parties. This play area is really cute. It has dual swings and swings you can buckle in a grown kid so they can swing too. There is a toddler area and a workout area, and there were courts for basketball and tennis and something else farther in the distance. The pavilions are bigger than the pavilions by me and both have direct views on the play area. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Even though we got rained on we still have lots of fun

This is a small park within a couple of miles from my home. Its pet friendly so we brought our dog Chloe. We walked around the fitness trail a couple of times for exercise.We passed a playground, tennis courts, basketball courts,a ball field, covered pavilions and numerous grills. Theres gym equipment throughout the park for exercise and recreation-and they have restroom facilities.The park is named after a Sanford Mayor who did so much good for the local community. He passed over a decade ago but his legacy lives on in this park.

Awesome park with great exercise equipment and exercise trail. Good variation of targeted exercises. The trail is also good for hiking and biking.Cute playground with slides, monkey bars, swings, and weeble wobles. Racquetball, tennis ball and basketball courts. They just re-did the baseball diamond and that looks great now. Big open fields.This park also has water fountains and bathrooms. Nice pavilions for parties and events.******Just went back today July 31 2019 and waa happy to see that there is a new playground nearing completion!!! New swings, playhouses, slides o my lol it looks so nice!

My grandboys absolutely loves the new renovated park.

Looked horrendous to me. Baseball field stays flooded...looks more like a lake than a field. Sorry to say but Sanford needs some upgrading...

Great tennis courts...

Park got a serious makeover and its awesome! My 2 year old absolutely loves it here. Theres so much to do for the whole family

The city has done a lot of work here. The exercise equipment is state of the art for outdoor equipment. They could use a few more picnic areas, if more then one group this wont work. The tennis court and baseball field ate in excellent condition. I sat there and worked on my computer enjoying the peace and quiet. The squirrels were a blast to watch.

I havent been here in awhile. Are there still a bunch of homeless people hanging out here?They had exercise stuff along the path around the park, but they eventually put new stuff in right beside the playground... And then they expect the young children to stay away from it.They have a few courts for different sports. A dirty, always dirty bathroom. Two pavilions. A small playground.

Park is great especially for the lil ones.

Not a great park for kids. Lots of adults with no children hanging around smoking and just in their cars. The childrens playground equipment is limited and old. There is an adult workout area that looks newer and better equipped but for kids, its a no.

This is a pretty chill park. Good to park in the shade and eat lunch, or do a quick lap around the lake.

Its a very clean public park and a great place to have family gatherings, cookouts or celebrations.

Workout area is great, however not for all ages. Need to upgrade to a bigger playground to keep kids from being bored. Overall good area, just need a little expansion for the little ones!

Decent park with several play options but there always seems to be a homeless person sleeping on the picnic tables. Includes baseball field, basketball court, tennis courts, workout equipment, regular park equipment and a pavilion.

Kidas area needs some improvement. Needs some TLC.
