Last 50 ft nice work out but way worth the view of cal poly caynon and the swing is awesome

This was a great first date place with a girlfriend of mine, as well as a great place to travel to with friends

Can be a pretty rough hike, theres a couple very steep portions. The view, however, is 100% worth it. On a clear, sunny day, its breathtaking.

Great hike. Gorgeous views. Last section is very tough, extremely steep and slippery.

This hike was intense: the final climb to the swing youre basically using all fours up a vertical slope, so I would wear shoes with excellent traction and be prepared for scrapes. The view from the top is spectacular though! The breeze from so high up was relaxing, and watching birds geaze the hills below you is surreal. Apparently its a good place for hammocks and yoga, or doing homework. We saw a few groups of college kids up there.

Great place. Its very beautiful and worth the hike. It does get challenging during the latter half.

Tough hike but the view (and swing) from the top make the challenge well worth it!

Go early to find shade.

It sure is pretty up here!! On a clear day, you can see for miles. The hills seem to roll on into infinity. The swings (2, at the time of this review) are well placed in a sturdy coast live oak tree. The trail is a little worse for the wear - it didnt fare well through some intense rain.

Nice place, away from it all. Its a nice walk with a rather steep finale if you miss the right path. So get yourself a good map (gps on mobilephone was not very helpfull). Bring enough water and maybe a little food. Dont forget to bring your camera. Weather should be nice!

Absolutely beautiful view, but the climb will kill you. The trail (if you can call it that) is very poorly marked and had me walking through a herd of cattle at one point. But I cant argue with the results. Absolutely gorgeous — visit in the winter/spring with the hills are green.

Just in town visiting with family, this was a great start to our day! Work hard and earn the view. Such a great experience!

Beautiful view, no matter the time of day. The hike is a bit steep at the end, but other than that its pretty easy.

Amazing views, very steep trail to get up to it

Great hike off of Poly Canyon with amazing views. We hiked it on a very windy day making it more challenging, but it was worth it. About 600 ft in elevation change from Poly canyon with the last bit being practically straight up. Could clearly see Morro Bay and all of SLO. Definitely going to be doing this hike again.
