Great park for kids of all ages. Playground, swings, animal sound board, various climbing options. It also has 2 big slides down a hill, with the option of sliding down the fake grass on cardboard boxes.
Lovely park in slo. Amazing place to hangout—for everyone. Tennis, disc golf, baseball, playgrounds. Nice park!
Love Sinsheimer! Its a wonderful park: public swimming pool, Frisbee golf course, tennis courts, two baseball fields, massive playground, BBQ areas, elementary school....and plenty of open space. So much happening all the time! Our dog loves this park!
Amazing play structure for the kids and a pretty decent disc golf course
I only been here a few times. But never had a problem
Has a great little disc golf course, baseball fields, batting cages, and two nice play structures for kids. Also, it looks like it had nice bathrooms but I couldnt tell forsake because they were closed due to COVID.
Nice playground. Lots to do. Beautiful park. Great for activities
My kids love this park top of the line newer equipment
Huge park its amazing and clean but the builders must have built the park without thinking about the sun
Big giant Slides are lots of fun! Nice picnic area, too. Theres a tennis court and Swim Center thats still close due to COVID-19
Family fun day at Seinsheimer today. Rode 2 miles with the kids on the paved bike path that parallels the train tracks followed by disc golf session. The nice kids playground isnt officially open yet though.
Awesome place to rest and chillin. For me the skatepark is the best part its a icónic place in the city
My grandson and Joyce S place and its usually not too crowded
Great tennis courts. Free to play, good wind guards and dividers. No dogs allowed on courts.
Fun park with volleyball court and behind the baseball field is a disc golf course that is free to use.
Nice park, great tennis courts.
Excellent disc golf course! Play this course every chance I can get!
Really great park that has been renovated recently. Huge play structure, grass hill to slide down, sand volleyball court. Definitely a good spot to spend the morning.
Such a great place for both kids and adults! So many different playgrounds to play on. My son loves to explore this park. Definitely worth going to If you have kids and are in SLO.
This place was awesome! It was like peeling cheese off an omelette trying to get my kids to go home from this park. I really enjoyed how they integrated the natural landscape into the playground design. The cardboard slide Hill was certainly my kids favorite!
This park was fabulous! They have a artificial grass turf hill to sleddown. Theres plenty of cardboard to use as a slide at the park, however if you want to prepare a superslider at home with built in handles that would be awesome! Three turny twisty slides for big kids or brave adults and a couple smaller slides for smaller kids. They also have a zip line!! Im proposing a designated adult park day, lol.It would be awesome during the weekdays for homeschool park days. Enjoy!
This park is so different & my grandkids love coming to this park just to play on the jungle gym that is so special!
The whole family had a blast! Unanimously voted the best park wed been to.
Tennis courts stayed open when the clubs and Arroyo Grande and Grover Beach closed their courts. Thank you SLO and Sinsheimer Park
Went around lunch time today for our first time. Park is well kept and tables and benches were clean. Playground has 2 separate areas for younger kids 3-5 and an older area.
Awesome disc golf course
This park is a lot of fun. I have to say that my favorite part is the hill set up specifically for sliding down on boxes. The location is also nice. Its usually kept pretty clean, its right next to the pool and blues field and the parking lot is far enough away that you dont have to worry about most little runners.
Super unique place for kids of all ages to play. My favorite part with my kids is the turf hill that is great for sliding down on cardboard. There are also playgrounds for all ages and water and a restroom.
The park in general is amazing. We went for the disc golf course, and it was highly overgrown with thistle. It needs to be cared for. The tees need to be marked as well. The playground area is awesome!
Hidden Gem!. I have been in the area for almost 3 years and I just found this place make sure you bring your dogs
I like that in some parts of gods country it still looks like gods country
Excellent for pets, tennis players, and children (great playground) with easy parking.
This is an awesome place to take kids of all ages. Also would recommend taking your lunch and sitting in the shade where kids play
So many choices here! Typically I use the well-maintained tennis courts. The new playground is a big hit and even just for strolling there are many nice paths.
Great remodel! Lots of fun for the whole family. Can spend hours there, but needs more shade over the playground. As the kids cannot tell if its too hot to play. They will play til they get burned.
Very cool playground, ball field, swim pool, disc golf and picnic spots. Great park.
Zip line and hill slide. Awesome!!!!! Definitely a must go to park
Kids favorite spot to run and have fun. So many active things to do...... for kids and adults.
Kid and dog friendly! This newly remodeled park has LOTS of fun in store for young kids. Bring some cardboard to slide down the hill! Short zipline and other play structures are perfect for toddlers. A few trails to walk your dog on leash that meander through the neighborhood and over a creek. There are also tennis courts and frizbee golf. It is also right next to a public pool with a warm (90 degrees) therapy pool as well.
Sand volley ball court. Card-board fueled faux-grass sledding. Zip line. Amazingly dangerous (and equally awesome) floating snowboard. #BestParkKnownToMan
Sinshemer is a fun and safe place for family fun, their is a hill that is made of fake grass and kids slide down it on cardboard. If you are planning to go their take a few sheets of cardboard and a nice lunch. Have a fun time!!!
Great for the whole family. Great place to meet for play dates, birthday parties, bbqs, sports. Never a dull moment!
Grassy hills and trees, tennis courts, pool, baseball diamond, sand volley ball court, disc golf course, brand new crazy play structure.. this park really has it all. Ive been once since they remodeled the kid zone and its pretty wild. Tons of climbing structures and slides and weird toys and even a big astroturf hill perfect for cardboard sleds.
Cool cardboard surfing hill, slides, little and big play areas, tennis, baseball, volleyball
Great new playground with super climbing gyms, zip line, and slides. Even has a grass hill to slide on cardboard. Picnic tables and benches. Multi level so cant be sedentary and keep your kid in site. Only negative is no restrooms.
Always a blast for the kids. There are so many options for them to play and have fun. Of course of our favorites is sliding down the fake turf hill!
Its soo fun with slides and things to do!
Truly superb park for taking the children to. A place where they (and/or you!) can tumble and crash themselves down face flat, temporarily, and yet, you would still be happy at the sheer amount of joy they find in the experience, be it sliding down the AstroTurf-covered hills ( yes I just called it AstroTurf) or the superman utiliziation of one of the 2 to 3 slides, the climbing of the climbing things, and lest I forget... wait for it, the Rope swing which is actually more like zipline type thing! Yaaaayyy!! I like ziplines!!! I dont have children (yet) so youll have to forgive me thinking of children in such a way where they might fall down and hurt themselves, I point and laugh once, and I just keep it light-hearted, maybe even point and laugh with an empathetic appreciation for the little dude or suzette. This - barring any injury of course (!) - is simply for emphasizing just how much fun we had at this park! I cant give it five stars because there arent any water slides or roller coasters. SORRRYYY! Bring cardboard boxes to slide on. Enjoy yourself, and such, and also be careful because the kids are better than you at this brand of family fun (duh). You will fall flat on your face if you do not respect them and their abilities to rule this incredible playground/park. Uhhh, I suppose I should postscript that last sentence. This only applies If U actually put your phone down, get your self up, and go play with them. My sister, my nephew, and I, we had a blast! Hope this helps.
Sensheimer park is a great place to have a fun filled day with the family at a modern and lively park setting. This location has amazing frisbee golf and volleyball courts. Also doubles as a perfect place for illicit night time activities with your hoodlum friends.
Must go. You will not regret it. the kids will love you the rest of the day.
Very very nice park. One of the best playgrounds I have seen for the kids. Plus a little 9 hole disc golf course that is really fun.
Great park with some unique playground items. Giant slides! Could use a giant swingset, too.(hint, hint, San Luis)TIP: bring a clean piece of cardboard for your kids so they can sled down the astroturf hill.
Very kid friendly and parents can have fun too. I wish there were a little more seating options and shaded areas for parents and children.
The atmosphere is very relaxing as in the morning there is no one there and the tennis courts are very nice.
Best park in the county! Amazing climbing/play structure. The park area includes huge slides, a grass hill sliding area AND A zip line. I have never seen SO many parents playing with their kids...and not on their texting on phones!...just taking videos and photos. Dog area available. Park area is right behind the pool and Blues stadium.
This is the coolest park I have ever seen.
Great park for children to play.
We love this park especially the sliding hill. Great place to take your kids. Lots of fun.
Great park with so much to offer. Fun disc golf course.
Fun wonderful day!! Will go back soon.
Great place to hangout with friends at night
Great park for kids
Great local park for all ages. They keep it clean, and seem to maintenance the equipment regularly. Never had any issues here! Love the turf hill!
So much fun, always make sure to bring some cardboard for the slide hill.
My 5 yr old grand daughter was a little intimidated when she arrived. It took about 10 - 15 min. for her to slide down the slide. After that she loved it! Well be going back there sooner than later. Shes so excited!
Its a great place its really unique
Awesome place to take the kids.
Great playground for the kids, tennis courts and a pool.
This park has it all, great for kids of all ages
Great family place: sliding Hill to grab a cardboard box and slide down, swings, huge slides, ball field, even town baseball and fireworks in the summer close to Independence Day. Restrooms, water fountains, nice, safe locale. A couple stars off because some items were broken and the sliding Hill is crazy crowded and tough for special needs kids.
Cool park. Has a large hill with fake grass on it and card board for sliding down it.
Nice playground very clean.
When they first open it was really nice. Even had zip line for children. Now its nasty . card board all over the playset. Not enough shade for kids. Super hot
The kids area for this park was very recently remodeled. It is absolutely fantastic now. There are great big play structures with many slides and multiple stories. There is a zipline. Bring some old cardboard to slide down the fake grass hill slide.
Best park ever on the planet
Love it
This park is great my granddaughters had the best time here !
A lot of fun! Theres cardboard to slide down artificial turf hill
Great place to take the kids!
My son and I took my grandchildren what a wonderful place to bring your children even adults.. LOL fun sliding small little zipline in a very peaceful and clean place even has picnic benches for a lunch :-) definitely will go back
This park has it all and more.. Get the whole family down here no matter what age promose everyone will have a blast.
A great park! There is a baseball stadium used by the minor league team, Blues, as well as tennis courts, a 9 hole Frisbee golf course, the famous lion head fountain, and nice paths to walk. The park is also located near Sinsheimer Pool, the only public pool in city limits.
The new best spot in Slo for active parent/child play! Multiple interactive structures and activities, lots of room even when busy, very clean and safe. Also good central location. Water fountains are filtered water and one even specifically for filling water bottles, very parent friendly park. Zip line, climbing stuff, best slides around town, multiple garbage cans around and tables, we have 3 boys and would recommend this to all. Leaving out a bunch too, go check it out!
This is a fun park! Lots to do, very crowded... Bring a cardboard box so you can race down the hill! Make sure to recycle it afterwards!
GREAT park!! There is something for everyone here. If you get the chance check it out, best park in the area!
Fun frisbee golf course. Well maintained. Awesome play structure for kids including a sledding hill.
Amazing playground. Just fantastic. Better than any weve seen in the bay area. It has huge slides, a zipline, and a hill for sliding down on cardboard, among other things. Good job SLO!
