It was beautiful. Close your eyes and Picture it. Trees fruitful with the colors of autumn, the sounds of children playing catch with dad. And a few scattered couples playing fetch with their dogs. Even the birds were chirping. It was it was like I traveled back a year in time. I felt Peace. I W. G.
What a gorgeous day it was in downtown W. G. The children were laughing, small intimate groups of friends were laughing together carrying on like it was their 10 year class reunion, and couples holding hands as their dogs frolic in redwoods teasing the spirited birds that I think enjoyed teasing them right back. The next time you find yourself in a gloomy mood, my suggestion is, go and just find yourself. This park has a natural energy. Its intoxicating
Ive been bringing my kids here since My first born was a baby. That was 6years ago. I have 3 kids now, and still bringing em here. They have so much fun. Also, there are A lot of trees to provide not only a lot of shade but fresh clean air as well.
What a nice park. It has a really nice baseball field. The grass is nice and green with a variety of trees to look at or sit under, like the tall redwoods. They have bathrooms, kids playground, office and picnic benches. The neighborhood here is upscale and some of the homes and their landscaping look unique, which makes the neighborhood nice to walk in if you want to extend your walk from the park. Yeah, this is a sweet park in a neighborhood of well manicured lawns. Enjoy, take a visit. The parking is free.
Big grassy park, nicely shade. Has full range of activities from playground, baseball field, looks like batting cages or warm up cage for pitchers, dog park, tennis courts and two clean restrooms with handicap access and changing tables. There is also an amphitheater type area. 4 picnic areas great for bbq, tables are spaced for social distancing. 3 families per area. Any covid questions regarding use of park call 211
A nice sized park tucked away in a neighborhood. There is plenty of grass space to picnic, play games and hang out. The basketball courts and tennis courts are being updated so unusable at the moment. There are two baseball fields here that have better kept grass than the rest of the park area. Definitely recommend if you want to get outside.
Great public park - plenty of parking, free space, pickleball, tennis, basketball courts. In addition, batting cage, little league field and what looks like bocce courts!!!
Tennis courts, two playground structures, outdoor amphitheatre, picnic tables, two baseball diamonds, large bocce ball court, well manicured grass and huge trees provide shade throughout the park. Definitely will return
Passing through. Nice park. Clearing mind
Very clean, and well-kept Park. Located in a very beautiful area.
Park has a little bit of everything for everyone with many recreational sites to enjoy
This park is close to home. I like taking my dogs there, its very pleasant. Lots of shady areas to relax.
Nice and well maintained playground for kids.
Beautiful park to have a picnic. Beautiful place for kids to play as well
Very busy with lots of sports and playground fun!
Great place to take a walk, beautiful neighborhood
Nice place for kids and for family party events
Willow Glens Premier Park, who didnt grow up playing little league here? Having seen all of the improvements really warms my heart as this park deserves it
Nice park, quiet. Looks taken care of. Bathrooms are clean.
Bramhall is one of the big parks in Willie Glen. Its got two playgrounds, one is fully enclosed for the Littles and one for the bigger kids. Theres a restroom thats reasonably clean and lots of grass to run around. Whats nice is the water fountain has a spot to put your water bottle so you just press the button and the waters drops down into your water bottle. Theres a baseball diamond where a lot of little leagues play. I believe the tables at Bramhall are first come first serve, so on the weekends expect to get here at 5am to reserve your tables.
Beautiful christmas decorations here..Best part was it was less crowded as compared to christmas in the park..Each street had a dofferent USP..They also had a map facility where you could scan the QR code from your phone and get the map.Snowflakes, reindeers, stars were all included as a part of christmas highlight..And yeah there was one big huge santa as well.
I love this park. Its my go-to. There are beautiful trees that provide lots of shade. Theres low monkey bars for littles to practice on. And you cant beat that theres a bathroom and it was pretty clean when we visited. Many other inviting things at this park that keep us going back.
Great place. The area is huge and they have plenty of room on the big playground at this park. All kinds of activities such as softball feilds and theres bathrooms available. Plenty of parking all around the park. Lots of people bring their dogs and even on some days the have meets where people group up and train their dogs. Great place to get out and enjoy the outdoors and have family time.
Simple park structures, separated by age group. The structures vary slightly in length from the average in the area, so its a wee bit more interesting. The smaller structure is gated. Generally easy to see where your kids are. Lots of running space.
Community park Ive been coming to since i was a kid. Smaller playground closed. Hoops are up!
Very nice, peaceful visit. Social distancing worked. Not a lot of people visiting at the time.
Its a decent park. I live across the street. Nice place to walk the dog as long as I go early enough. Theres people that let their dogs off leash which Im not fond of because more than once Ive had a big dog come barrelling towards me with the owner clear across the park. Saturdays the park is over run with parties, extremely loud music, bounce houses, and garbage.
One of our fav parks in WG. Tennis courts, basquet rings, baseball courts and a playground for the littles. Shadow if needed and public restroom close to the playground.
Good birding for central area park.
Beautiful neighborhood and the park is filled with beautiful shade trees.Love having lunch there.
I know there is money in that area but you need to close the park. That way no kids are playing on the playgrounds unless youre going to spray them down after every use.
Great park many things to do and ample space
Great tennis courts! It just gets a little windy during the afternoon. The playgrounds are perfectly age appropriate, and more importantly, safe! Will definitely have a family Picnic here the next time we go!
This is a beautiful park with all kinds of courts, fields, multiple playgrounds, and picnic areas. The playgrounds are new. They have one for small children, which is gated, and a larger one for older children. Its a big park with some gorgeous trees amd and big grassy areas. It also has parking.
Great park for families. Lots of baseball here.
I love going to this park it feels so fresh and green
Ran my dogs there just before a big storm... Nice but dark. And unfortunately had some homeless sleeping near one of the buildings
I really loved this park ! Had my daughters first birthday here and I couldnt have picked a better spot. Very roomy for parties and the playground for kids is great ! Theres a separate area for the bigger kids which is always a plus. Would definitely host a party here again or just hang out to enjoy either basketball, tennis, or baseball !
Very nice
Chill place to kick back and relax with the family.
I cant speak much for the park, but if you can get there for free Shakespeare in the park shows, go!
Awesome day, my dogs love this place
Great place for taking kids, having a bbq or playing tennis. They even have Lawn Bowling!!
It has some basic levels of inclusion for children with disabilities there is a ramp to the top of the play structure but there is not much to do once you are up there. I wish there was more activities that are wheelchair accessibleThere is a lot of space to play, lots of trees in shade. a separate fenced-in play area for young children needs shade
Nice big park. My friend was cooking Pupusas.. Salvadorean food..uumm delicios
I have been taking my family to this park for 30yrs. Always a favorite and we have many memories of various celebrations. Also i used to coach little league here in the 90s and i can say the baseball facility has tremendously improved.
Coming together meant everything
Beautiful Park. I love how tall the trees are. Nice fresh feeling Reminds me how San Jose used to be! Green and free! Now u look around San Jose it justs has a different feel and its not necessarily a good thing!.....
Outstanding playground for the younger kids, in fact my 8 year old daughter cries when she has to leave! You cant beat that for a great review!
I love the park; it has a lot of character, and my dog loved the walk.
Good park for kids. Two separate play areas. 1 for younger (3-5) ones. And a second, larger area, for 5-12 years. However, the types of equipment overlap and the kids want to play in both areas regardless of age.
Huge park with many tables to eat (around 12) and it has restrooms. No water park but two areas: 5 and under and one 5 and up. The 5 and under has a fence and animal are prohibited. There are basketball courts, bowls field, swings and many place with grass under huge trees.
Nice park to relaxing or exercise
I have my three kids in San Jose always I use to take there every time I can
Wide open space, with nice playgrounds for younger and older kids. Multiple tennis courts, basketball and a baseball flied as well.
Great family park.
Perfect for kids parties, family reunion, hang outs with friends and more. Remember to reserve online for a good shaded spot.
Its my favorite Park to go to I sit at one of the picnic tables eat lunch and read
Good place to run your dog between 8 and 9:00 a.m.
Great park! Enclosed playground for 2-5 year olds and a nice large structure for older kids. Restrooms are very close to the playgrounds. Plenty of benches if, like me, you like to chill and give the kids a bit of distance, BUT with fencing and extensive railings the sight lines are somewhat compromised. I find myself getting up fairly often to put eyes on the kids. All around a great park, just forced me to get off my butt every now and then. Could be a pro or a con depending on your perspective.
Very nice park. Large trees lots of shade. Not lots of people, quiet.
This park does the best for long long time ago on my life with my family
Nice park, close to home, cozy environment, has water fountains and restrooms on-site. Took my 5-year-old there and he really enjoyed himself. Park has plenty of things to do no matter if your children are toddlers or teenagers. There is plenty of shade at the park as well, great family environment.
The neighborhood was really nice and it has alot of fun things for the children to do. And the restrooms are really clean.
A good place to go to get some rest
I always loved rolling down the hill and sitting under the redwood trees in the back of the park.
Very nice park. Children playground always busy, lots of children laughter. Building near with restrooms. Large shade trees (Cedar Redwoods maybe) and large grassy areas. Level, paved, wheelchair access. Good parking but sometimes full at peak hours (the only negative star). Bench seating availability. Dogs on leash OK.
Love this park. My mother brought us here when we were growing up and now I get to bring my son here .
Our family has lived in Willowglenn for 3 generations amd this was one of our most favorite parks to go to
Great park! Great people! Been coming here since I was a kid.now I take mine
Nice park. Tennis courts, lawn bowling, playgrounds, baseball field, bathrooms, bocce ball court, tables for picnics.
Nice local park
Been to this place at least 1,000 times. Great park. Baseball, tennis, basketball, jungle gyms, picnic areas, trees. 10/10
There are plenty of kids to play with and it was a very nice Park
This park has a big kid area and a small kid area. Lots of shade and trees too.
Fenced off area for little kids, plus a bigger area for the bigger kids. Plenty of space for picnics and barbecues, has a bathroom.
Great for tennis (5 courts) with plenty of parking. Only downside: no lighting in the evenings when it gets darker.
Nice local neighborhood park with plenty of greenery and shade. A great addition to this Willow Glen neighborhood.
Grew up in this park. My old stomping grounds! Used to play little league, tennis, shuffleboard (gone). Nice playground updates, great place for kids. The old hill/stage area is there. We used to ice block down the grass. Ride bikes in the trees... Good city park. A treasure.
I come here to play pokemon go
Great area, especially for kids during Halloween.
Nice place to chill...lol
BBQs and family fun. Try it here.
My favorite neighborhood park! Go there with my 1 year old granddaughter. Love to spend a lot of time there!
Great park with clean restrooms.
Spacious park with two playgrounds and tennis fields. My children love this park.
Beautiful nice walk for dog and person trees are plenty so if you want to grab apicnic and a blanket great place they even have comunity activityes on weekends like Shakespeare in park and i see little league game practice often here if you have little ones there a park found some of the playground hot to touch in sun but found shade on the other playground and had no problem a five star happy park i belive they have senior activities and nice tennis court if you want to practice
This is a beautiful park located near downtown willow glen in San Jose, CA. This park offers little league baseball fields including more field space for football or soccer or whatever sport really. There are multiple areas for picnics and barbecuing. The park has a playground and restrooms as well. I had my baby shower here and it was unforgettable. From the huge willow and redwood trees to the lush grass and wide open space this is room for everyone and fun to be had.
Classic Park in the heart of Willow Glen
Nice big park lots of trees and shade. Tennis ball courts, baseball fields, volleyball hookup and more.
Social distancing with a lunch!
Just becuz.
My boys love this park. There is a fenced in area for my toddler and a larger playground for my first grader. There is plenty of shade and a lot of open space if you want to play soccer or tag.
Not a bad place to come for a walk. I live right down the street till this is my default Park to go to. But be warned on a warm sunny weekend this park gets people from all over San Jose coming in for barbecues and parties. It gets extremely busy and loud. Unless its early in the morning I avoid this place like the plague.
