I checked the church’s website for Mass availability since churches have not been open in California in general. The website gave the Mass times. I arrived for the 10:00 Mass 30 minutes early. I discovered after the Mass started that it was being said in Tagalog. The website made NO mention of this rather important fact. I was going to let it pass and just make the best of it until at the end of the Mass the Priest made a snotty comment apologizing, not apologizing, for those of us who did not know the language, but that we could always learn Tagalog. This is still America the last time I checked, and I would welcome Father to encourage his flock to learn English.
Wonderful service representation!I approve of this message!
It was a good place of worship for me
It has an accessible entrance at the back of the church near the Contemporary Jewish Museum. It has a bathroom that is accessible by stairs or elevator. The elevator was not working today though, and they closed the restroom as well (there are many establishments nearby where you can buy something and use the bathroom if you are desperate). The priest gave an interesting homily today. They had a good soloist and a pianist. The church felt packed this Sunday at the 5:15pm Mass, yet we managed to find ourselves a good seat for 5 people.
A new convert from the #Apostolic religion. The church is beautiful. I feel honored to worship here.
The pipe organ there is incredible! The entire building is beautifully designed. It is a must see, even if you are not Catholic
While visiting DT SF we found this church and we were pleasantly impressed by the quality of the sermon and the way mass was structured. Being accustomed to mass in Spanish it was very nice to have the experience in English in a multicultural environment.
Beautiful Catholic Church that is sited near to Target store and lots of eateries and shopping malls. You can simply drop by on a sunday after your sunday dayout with your friends and families.
Old Art Work makes you tremble with fear Seen bread crumbs near the alter and smelled fish We Know your hiding. In there Jesus we just want to touch ! ( your staff of life that is)
Catholic historic church with a wonderful Philippines flavor of prayerful people
Beautiful church worth visiting community very open and friendly
Great Catholic church, even if you just want to look around. Sunday mass 12:00 pm is the best.
Old church in a very good downtown location right across from Buena Vista Terrace.
I once tried to worship but would make my experience better so I drop in to enjoy the services a membership any way.
This is a must see, absolutely beautiful inside and great services
This will always be my place of worship. I was baptized here, had my catechism here and became an alter server with the beloved Monsignor Fred Al Bitanga. Times have changed and its good to see the church going strong.
Awesome church!
Any Catholic Church I go is a haven for me. A place to communion with my Creator. This church is located at the heart of San Francisco Downtown. Very accessible to any means of transportation like BMW (Bart, Munie and Walk)
They are always friendly and welcoming to me when I go. I have been going off and on for years.
Wonderful they have so many Masses each day!
Quiet, clean, good place to meditate if youre catholic
Beautiful church
A wonderful piece of California history. The building itself sends a message through time.
Beautiful church. Organ was phenomenal.
Our spiritual home. Come in May for Marian devotion.
A historic brick church stand out among all the modern buildings that flank it on all sides. A good place for prayers and reflection in a busy section of the city.
Accessible to visit. Nice & melancholic place.
Beautiful church. Great mass on Sunday mornings. Very welcoming!

Nice church in between Market street and Moscone Center
Beautiful old church right in the middle of San Francisco. I enjoy going to mass there when I visit San Francisco. I believe it is one of the places listed on the must see list for San Francisco. People are very friendly.
Moved here from Chicago, with my St. Pats church over there and this one is even more amazing
Its is a peaceful temple and you can meet the Holy Spirit of God. Not to mention a beautiful old temple.
A very good place of worship. Solemn, clean, well lighted. And staff are friendly
I walked by it the other night and looked at the beautiful red bricks. I recommend it to everyone.
Beautiful, faithful congregation. A holy place to spend time with Jesus.
Gorgeous architecture, quiet inside, mass on a Tuesday night was traditional and warm. Unique experience in this century+ old church.
Very nice church! I love to visit! ️
Very smart priest on Holly Mass - Sunday of sending the Holly Spirit at 7:30
Majestic church with amazing decor.
A lovely Cathredral full of the gentle and quiet Peace and Sanctuary of Our Lords Love and Grace. Enjoy the serenity and the solitude. A Devine Moment of Silence & respite. An all encompassing oasis in the middle of the hussle and bussle of the city of San Francisco.
Inclusive and welcoming to all.
My favorite accessible sanctuary away from the maddening crowd downtown SF....
Cancelling the Sacrament of reconciliationOm the eve of christmas is very hurtful to some of us who goes to work and relued on the posted scheduke . plus why woukd they choise the eve of christmas nit to give this Sacrament . fir some . this is theur way of purifying themselves . to offer a ckean heart on the birthday of Jesus
Beautiful church. Youll love the ambience of an historic church.
An old, well maintained, peaceful church located just in front adjacent to the Jewish Museum. Very high ceilings and lots of stained glass pictures. A place of quiet, and one could come and just sit for a few minutes to get some peace before heading on with life.
Very Beautiful and Historical. Very Peaceful Inside
Nice place for reflection......One of the oldest church in San Francisco. Daily Mass schedule as follows: 7:30 am, 12:10nn, 5:15pm monday to friday.

I love this Church! Its beauty. Its history. I love the friendliness of the people. And the priest is open, kind, and very approachable. I will be a regular here. This is my church!
Part of San Francisco history - Founded by the Irish community decked in green Connemara marble and suffered damage during 1906 quake. now restored with Tiffany glass stained windows honouring Irish saints. A place of refuge in the heart of the busy city.
I wasnt molested.
Great Mass, beautiful building and architecture! Wow.
Very good and nice place to say and pray the Rosary
Beautiful old Catholic Church. They even have a Latin Mass on Sundays
Looks amazing aquitecture
I feel like this church is a hidden gem. I feel like theres so much detail everywhere. I just did a baptism here and the inner church is pretty dark but its great that they turn up the light at the altar. I did find some people sleeping here so I know its nice and quiet. Dont forget that theres parking under the church.
Beautiful place
Solemn place to reflect
Beautiful building.. But typical Catholic greed..
At the heart of the city
Beautiful church and we enjoyed the mass.
515 pm Saturday and Sunday service are great
Im writing everyone that goes to church, for their help, my daughter needs a heart transplant, and Im asking everyone on earth to give just 25 cents, if you can, thank you, if you cant, thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this, Im a single father thats not to proud to beg for help, if you do decide to help, go to my go fund me page, look up zoepigg, and give if you can, cause my daughter needs all the help she can get. See friends theres this thing called a donor list, and the only ones that moves up the list is the Rich, while the poor kids just move farther and farther away from the top, this is a disgrace and a practice the medical profession has been doing for years, my daughter has 6 months to live if she doesnt have this operation, thanks for taking the time out of your day to read this and God bless you. Oh one more thing, when you go to church this Sunday, can you please say a prayer for my daughter,. Thanks again
Nice church!
It nice and quiet place to be
When I was having a rough time a few weeks ago I found myself wondering through the city. I saw this church and curiously I entered to see all the sculptures and stained glass windows, forms of art I found distracting through many masses I attended in my youth. I needed a distraction. God called me in. I found what I was searching for ...peace in faith.I can say that this church is meaningful to all those in the community who come here to worship. There where people of all ages scattered among the pews praying and a line for confession. I encourage anyone who is looking for a quiet place for prayer to come here. I didnt stay for the afternoon mass.My over all experience was worth stepping inside and I will be returning again.
Beautiful architecture
Beautiful church
Excellent and very convenient.
Beautiful, historical place to worship. They even have votive candles for purchase to light and leave in front of your favorite saint statue. Surrounded by tall buildings, the Jewish Museum next door, Metreon Mall and Yerba Buena Gardens across the street, it is an old oasis among the new architecture.
Neat old Catholic Church where we have Mass before start of St Patricks day parade.
Nice place where for pray...
