This is one of my new favorite stops in La Jolla. Nice spacious sports bar and the food and service are great. They also have plenty of vegan menu options which is rare for a sports bar. Plus you can replace any burger patty for an impossible burger including the Cali burrito!!

Open air eating that kept us safe and comfortable. Loved the Crispy Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer. Beautiful presentation of both of our entrees. Super attentive staff that wont let you go thirsty. Would recommend for some laid-back comfort eats! They even have specials every day - Take Out Tuesday was the day we attended, so it was not crowded at all for dine-in.

Had a really good time here. Unfortunately they got super slammed during COVID times so the service was a little slow but the staff was super nice and apologetic. I really like the area that the place is, it has plenty of parking and its right next to the mall so you can go check out some stores after. The beer menu was extensive and delightful.

Loud, fun, and always have all the games on. Its a go-to. Not greatest for dates but perfect for a night out with friends!

The white rascal is a good light beer and the pub chips are great (minus the blue cheese dressing)The nachos are also delicious. The place has a friendly service and parking is street meter parking.

Draft republic is great. My boyfriend and I come here every saturday for $5 24oz beers. It is the best drink deal ever. The staff is so friendly and amazing.

This is a really chill spot perfect for Friday or Saturday nights. When you are feeling a little in between going all out or just having a chill drink out. The place offers a full bar as well as an arcade and glow in the dark golf course.

Large sports bar and restaurant with a fantatsic selection of beer on tap. There are many seating areas including outside. Main bar is well laid out and many sized tables to accommodate parties of any size. Food is modern pub fare but fresh and delicious. Great place to watch games or go with s large group. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very dispappointed that on my last visit to this place o August 13th, the server Marry charged me an extra $50 on my $42 bill. Just a convenient accident? Me thinks not, the total is printed on the bill so she consciously tipped herself $50. She should be fired for doing that to customers! Be aware the new servers at this place might run your bill up and steal your money!

I picked up a bourbon tasting kit for an online tasting experience, and I greatly enjoyed it and will watch out for future virtual tasting events. We also got some takeout food which was very tasty.

This place was never “top notch” but rather one of the few places in the area for food/drink/cocktails that was reasonably priced for what you get. I cannot say that now. Not to say prices have jumped but the quality is terrible and you might as well add terrible management staff to list while you’re at it. Find somewhere else. It’ll be worth it. Not a “Karen” and I hope this is helpful.

Super fun local bar that has $5 drinks specials during Happy Hour, Board Games to play with friends, an air hockey table and a fully glow in the mini Golf course!

Came by for a quick bite while out shopping. Seated promptly, food came out quickly and was delicious. We tried the devil eggs, chicken lollipops, tuna takaki, mac & cheese as well as 2 out of three of the desserts. All were fantastic.Server was polite, attentive and very genuine.

Draft Republic Pub, we love you! An SF institution that feels right at home, our San Francisco running club has adopted Draft Republic Pub as one of our favorite weekly Thursday night post-run spots to hang out and socialize. The eats are delicious and plentiful, the wait staff super friendly, and the post run rehydration beers always hit the spot. Thanks Draft Republic Pub!

My wife and I were looking for dinner/driving and decided to stop here because we were tired of the traffic on the freeway. We happened to get there during happy hour. The happy hour is great! They have $2 off draft beer, and some decent food discounts. We got dinner and a I got a beer for $27. The food was good and arrived surprisingly quickly.It is definitely a loud place, but thats expected for a sports/arcade bar. They had ping pong, arcade games, and a lot more. Definitely a fun place!

Way worth it! I had the buffalo cauliflower starter (half eaten in my photo), pork sliders and a beer of course. The food was unique, tasty and really good portion size. I never had this type of cauliflower and boy was it good! Spicy hot but not over-the-top and classic buffalo flavor. The side of fries that came with my slider were parmesan and perfect.

Bacon burger was soso. The impossible burger was really good tasting!

Always a great choice. Whether you and a few friends were looking for a great laid back environment where you can catch basically any game or maybe youre in the mood to be entertained. They have arcade games, foosball, even a full size ping pong table. We love their menu as we can always find something we will enjoy. And their tap list is always top choice. Great for groups or the solo artist looking to grab a beer after work and even families.

First off, Sara the wait staff was awesome. She was very attentive and kind. Im here on Vacation getting my sports fix and I will definitely be back. My MIL lives down the street and this is my new favorite place to grab a bite & watch some sports. Thanks Sara for treating me so kindly. Kindness matters and so do tips!

I’ll give Draft Republic 2 stars but there’s not much I like about it as I sit here. Didn’t see any beer for less than $7 on the menu, all being between $7 and $9. The place is loud, not much in the way of acoustics to dampen the noise. Bartender took his time coming over to me at the bar, never cleaned the bar from what looked like the last few patrons, never asked me if I wanted a menu or food. In fact, I never saw anyone cleaning any bar spots. Wow this place is really loud, annoyingly so. I’ll just finish my one beer and leave.Not recommended. Oh, and the sales tax is 12% here, RIDICULOUS!

This is just a great solid place to get food and drinks. they have some games as well and plenty of space.This review is about events. They have a few large spaces that can be booked out for events! We booked out their outside patio. it was great! they had heaters up and a pool table!I worked with Courtney who was just wonderful. She was super communicative and attentive. The two servers did a great job as well!All in all its a great place for lunch or also a large group event.thanks Courtney!

Stopped by this place while in la Jolla. Part of the cohn group restaurant. Easy parking with the mall across the street. Cool ambience. The jalapeno devils eggs were ok. The flavor mix was good but it need more mayo for a richer taste. Bbq ribs was good. I had the diablo burger and the meat was red and looked like it was uncooked. Wasnt juicy at all. I would only come back here for drinks and for the ambience. The food was decent but wasnt amazing

I love the environment and the friendly staff, but the food is a bit overpriced and generally too salty for my taste. it’s still a great place to meet up with friends to hang out, grab a beer, and have a relaxing meal. the beer selection does not disappoint, and they are always accommodating of my food order adjustments!

Most of the food was amazing, the only item I wasnt crazy about was the buffalo cauliflower, they weren’t sauced essentially at all. But everything else from the deviled eggs to the corn bread to the Bloody Mary was wonderful. Our waitress was absent most of the night but at the end apologized for it letting us know it was busy. She was very polite and the rest of staff was very helpful. Overall I had a great time and will most likely go back.

Great service, great food and even better they have a wide selection of exceptional beers. I come specifically for their Mac n’ Cheese Republic, which is always excellent. The Communist Mule was my favorite (a must try!) My server was Anna, she was great! Very knowledgeable and patience with my grandparents...thanks Anna!

Friendly waitstaff, but food was a bit lacking. Burger was small and looked more like Jack in the box. Ribs were dry. The kale and cabbage salad was great. Probably wouldnt come back.

From the moment you step in that place they give you a good feeling. Very hospitable waiters, it is a kind restaurant to enjoy with your friends or with your date. very good cooking, experienced chief cook and stuff, modest pay and generous service. Warmly recommended.

Great place, good vibe, fast friendly service, delicious food, clean bathrooms!!! Stopped by after a long day at work and was greeted by 5 young ladies who were full of smiles and happy to see us. We were immediately addressed and taken to our table. Very shortly after that our server, Lauren K., took our drink orders. We asked about the jalapeno deviled eggs and our servers eyes lit up and said, very good choice! she was right- they were delicious and had just the right amount of kick when it came to spiciness. We also ordered pretzel sticks, which were very good with my beer, new Belgium the Hemperor, (which Lauren K. Recommended) another great choice. We finally ordered our main dish. I had the Baked Penne Pasta with HOUSE MADE Italian Sausage. Absolutely delicious. My son ordered The Draft Republic Burger, he was very pleased with his choice and ate it all up. I will have to say that our experience was outstanding. Thank you to all the staff and special thanks to Lauren K. for making our first visit enjoyable and relaxing. Definitely will be back. Cheers

The food is a little bit pricey and really salty. That dessert is like putting Nutella in a bowl, too sweet to call it a decent dessert. Good ambience though.

Good place for Happy Hour or watching sports. Tasty food, upbeat atmosphere. Lots of games and TVs. Fun place. Not a huge menu, and parking can be rough. (Recommendation: park in underground parking)

Right across the street from University Town Center this place has a great selection of draft beers, good bar food games to include foosball, ping pong and s shifts table. Group and family friendly.

Good draft selection and plenty of games. Then pool tables are especially good. The food is meh. The menu looks like a hip modern pub food affair with all the usual suspects. However the foods that take finesse (Im looking at you pork belly) are pretty underwhelming. The ingredients are quality enough but they dont render the fat properly or air dry prior to cooking. In general the techniques are lower quality than I can prepare in my own kitchen but still restaurant quality for sure. Good for casual groups and kid for kids.

We came here after Paragliding for a quick snack before or hike at Torrey Pines. They have a great happy hour menu, entertainment, and BIG beer selection. You craft beer lovers would love happy hour $5!!!This place is modern, roomy, fun, and has free entertainment with 2 Foosball take, full shuffle board, and ping pong table!

Excellent sports bar with lots of beers on tap. The food is good but nothing to write home about. Highly recommend for a game day food and drinks.

1 star for their customer service. We go there usually on Sunday evening. Yesterday the place was almost empty but we were a table of 17At one moment my daughter went next door to buy an ice cream. When she went back they told her to leave the restaurant!!! They do not even sell such ice cream, we were representing 90% of their customers and we are never less than 10 peoples when we eat there. It is a shame but it was definitively our last time in this restaurant.

ITS SO LOUD WE COULD BARELY HEAR EACH OTHER AND HAD TO TALK LOUDLY JUST LIKE THIS. The food was great. There is a reasonable selection of beers and a small selection of mixed drinks. Games available like ping pong etc but its tiresome to have to keep retrieving the ball from under peoples tables.

Nothing stood out as loving this place. I only went for an event. The beer selection is better then a regular bar. We tried the flatbread pizza and it was great.

Tip LARGE or YOU WILL NOT BE WELCOME!!! Okay food and drinks but the staff are openly greedy.. or underpaid.. because Ive never had staff openly complain to me about receiving only a $40 tip and ask for more. I generally tip 20% but isnt that supposed to be generosity for good service and not a requirement???

Our food came out fast and was absolutely delicious! I had the Cobb salad and a Stone Delicious IPA and my guest had the Draft burger and a Scrimshaw Pilsner, he said the burger was the best that he’s had here in San Diego! Our waitress Anna was very efficient and friendly. Overall great food and great service, what else can I say!

The waitress took a half an hour to realize she forgot my drink order and then didnt know where my card was. I stood in line at the bar for 20 minutes so they could tell me they dont take food orders and my only option was the waitress that already forgot me. Will not return.

First time here. Our server Kaitlyn had great recommendations from the draft beer menu and was really cheerful and friendly. The steak frites plate was bomb! We will be back just to have the espresso donuts - yum.

Fun decor and a pretry busy and fun crowd packed the place. Interesting food options that werent all that well executed, we had an exceptionally distracted server (10 minutes to take our order and more than that to get the check).We tried a number of food items and they ranged from great (sausage plate was tasty) to misses (ribs were tender, but flavorless other than the bbq sauce, and the jalepeno cornbread didnt seem to mesh well with the syrup), and the tuna starter (all you could taste was quacamole).Overall a little disappointing from a food perspective, Ive been to a few Cohen group restaurants and this was a bit of a let down, clearly the large selection of beers on tap are the focus.

First visit was really neat! Came with coworkers after a big meeting and had a great time. Food and prices are average, nice open air set up combined with different sections, with games if you want them. Fun place. Parking is available but FYI its in a plaza so you may have to walk a bit. Also, in 2019 they are still constructing the trolley overpass so- construction delays with traffic should be considered!

Just came here for a Sunday dinner and it was restaurant week. We got the prefix and it was soooo much food! The ahi salad and burger were delicious. Skip the desserts, they are just so so.

Great happy hour 7 days a week. Burger and fries were delicious and awesome beer selection. Pleasant outdoor patio and games.

First rate food, bartenders and management. Had a situation with another patron and it was about to become a big problem. They stepped in and de-escalated everything in a very professional way. Glad they handled it they way they did because both of us were going to hurt. Short story, dont arbitrarily start talking about someones mom because you arent intelligent enough to come up with a better comeback!

Fun games to play. 3% added gratuity, so meh.

Favorite social spot in SD. Brought 100+ young adults when we were only expecting 50-70, and the Draft Republic Team was great! They handled it so nicely, our server Jordan was so sweet, they had the food out right away and the overall atmosphere of the event was great! One of our favorite spots to hold our After Parties!

A good place to watch games and hang out. Lots of staff to take care of the place and keep you with a full beer. Burgers and sandwiches are plenty large enough for 1 if not 2 people.

Super cool bar. We had a a few cool beers, $5 Monday mule and the most amazing flat bread for happy hour. Well definitely go back when were in the area.
