Great burgers. I got the Brenda burger, my husband loved the the sweet potato fries and my son got a kick from our waiter..unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he seemed like he enjoyed his job. Hooting and hollering and doing magic tricks and even dancing with our son.It was a great experience all the way around.We’re from Texas and just visiting but this will definitely be a place we will come back too next time we visit San Diego

Came here for shakes/malts. Made our order (2 chocolate-based shakes). Manager came to tell us that they only have strawberry ice cream left. We were sad, but changed our order. Suddenly, the bartender runs out of the kitchen holding a giant tub of un-opened ice cream. It was chocolate. He saved the day. It is delicious and all is well. Amazing staff, amazing ambiance, and delicious shakes. 5 stars. 10/10 recommend!

Went with my precious mother to eat at this delicious Corvette Diner! The environment was live and friendly, the hostess just adorable. I had the best Strawberry shake yum! The burger was fresh, and full of flavor. The chicken wings were tasty! Thank you for being open!

Extremely friendly server here and quite entertaining. The burgers looked great. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich that was a bit overcooked so the crust was hard. But it still tasted good.

This place is special. The ambiance is amazing. You feel like youve stepped back in time. We celebrated my birthday here. They sang and danced and I got this ginormous pink cotton candy. The staff was amazing and made me feel Ohh so important. To top that off their food was so yummy. Everything I tried was delicious. Im coming back if I ever get back this way!!

This was a great place to eat out with the family I would go with or without kids. The service was wonderful, They were on top of everyones safety regarding cover 19. I was only a little disappointed with my fries being a little cold but it was only mine and the spiked milkshake was either not mixed well or over poured. But their custom drinks and ranch is to die for!

Went on a Saturday night and the food was great! I wish that the waiters and waitresses sang more. They only sang once in the 3 hours that we were there. Also, I wish that they had more shake options. Most of the shakes had banana in them which was disappointing. They need to add a few more flavor options.

So much fun for all ages. Food is good diner food too. The staff puts so much energy into their positions. There is a live DJ. Perfect for celebrations, kids parties etc. We went for the icecream on a date day. I ordered the hot fudge brownie sundae while the husband got a shake. Yum!

This place was OK. Definitely a novelty for the kids. The food was not mind blowing. If I had a bunch of kids to entertain I would bring them here, they would get a kick out of the neon lights.

We waited ten minutes for a server to come over, when we asked about it at the hostess stand we were told the server would be right over. The server never came over. After another five minutes, we left. My kids were really excited about eating here, what a big dissappointment.

Awesome place! Love coming here. Delicious burgers and shakes with a classic American Diner vibe. So sweet that I can upgrade to sweet potato fries ($2.50 extra). Great service as well (thanks Simon!). We also witnessed a family sitting next to us, who were celebrating their handicapped childs birthday, have their check covered by the restaurant. Amazing service in all sense. Plus you cant beat the vibe. Love it!

The scenery was beautiful and the staff were super friendly! The food was good, too!! I definitely want to take all of my friends hereThe moment you walk in, youre greeted by a friendly server, and then walked through the blacklight-lit restaurant to your seat, where you can look around and see all the glowing decorations! From then on you hear old timey music playing, and during a couple of the songs, the servers dance! Overall, it was a great experience and we had a great time.

Very loud but amazing place to check out. The random songs the staff break out into is great. Excellent atmosphere for families. Our young kids loved it. The games room us great touch. Clean. Good food. Friendly staff!! Everyone gets a hat to wear. The kids and grandparents loved it.

Kids had a good time playing in the arcade and watching the wait staff show. Lots of birthday parties going on but it was Saturday and this restaurant seems like the perfect place to celebrate a 7-10 year olds birthday.The food was good but not great. The service was about as good as could be expected from a bunch of college students but they seemed to be enjoying their job and that goes a long way.

Great for kids and adults! Their staff is really friendly and patient. The private room in the back is also perfect for large parties. The gameroom in the back is prime for entertaining both kids and adults. Food and dessert are good! Like how they had vegetarian and plant based options too. I had the veggie sandwich and finished it all! :)

Great experience every time we go there! We usually go there with family and friends from out of town and they loved it. Very colorful dinner, great selection of milk shakes and tasteful menu. Arcade games and friendly staff. PS: Get ready for ongoing 50s music. Not a place for a quiet date night but more for a fun loving, birthday celebrating and heavy loaded menu.

Fun fun family friendly restaurant. Definitely not a quiet place if you are looking for that... but very lively vintage inspired diner with uplifting staff... they sing, make bows in your hair out of straws, a balloon twister roams around, arcade... shakes are delicious. We experienced the black light room since we had a larger group. Food was decent enough... much better than most kid friendly food establishments...the burgers were the table favorite... I had the roast beef dip sandwich. Overall... it is a great place.... for girls night out, birthdays and celebrations. Its fun!

It is an awesome time when you are with your friends or family. I loved it the whole time. I really recommend this place. It is also really fun for kids. There are a few people that go around making balloon animals for kids and they work on tips. It is very retro, and looks like it takes place in the 50s. Great experience! You come for the L-O-U-D waitresses and ambiance, which surprisingly was louder than my three young kids...and kept them amazed and actually pretty quiet. Be prepared to listen to hundreds of birthday songs sung by the wait staff, because its a celebration kind of place! Fun, loud, happy, make you want to get up and dance through the whole meal, kind of place! Not someplace you want to go for any kind of serious conversation, thats for sure!The food is yummy, diner-style food, and I would highly recommend the Adult YUMMY treat of the Kahlua Chocolate Shake, and the kids portions are GINORMOUS! The fries are yummy and everything truly is delicious, but be prepared to pay for the experience and for not only an automatic add-on gratuity for parties larger than 8 but also a strange other fee that helps keep prices low. ???Overall, a great time was had by all, and we left with fully satisfied tummies and the kids also got a balloon animal for an extra donation to the local kids parties/balloon/face painting guy. :-/

Place is cool however I feel like their not ready to accommodate large partys, I wish we wouldve known this before showing up with 35+ guest. But the food was good I guess, I mean you cant really mess up a burger. So Ill have to give them 3 stars.

Amazing fun place with quirky retro decor and a really fun happy vibe .. we went twice .. once in the morning just as they opened and were seated near the icecream/ soda station and second time for dinner and were seated in the black light area where there seemed to be several tables enjoying birthday dinners ..both times it was a really different and enjoyable experience .. We even happened to be served by Millie both the times, who was superb and gave great recommendations as we were vegetarians. The waitstaff is super friendly and enthusiastic and the food especially the shakes are delicious. We loved loved loved everything from the food, the decor, the retro music in morning to the DJ in the evening. Will have great memories of this place !!!

I mean, it is what it is. A 50s diner with slightly overpriced food. But the food is good, sundaes and milkshakes are huge and can be shared. The decoration is so much fun for the kids, waiters sing and dance in between serving, there is guy walking around making balloon animals for tips. Loud music though. We were in the black light room and my kids loved it.

But you can have fun with the whole family next door playing with the kids, and you wont feel the wait. Overall its great. Perfect place to celebrate your kids, or just spend a nice time! They have the best thick yummy milkshakes and be ready to a huge portion of the best American food. They give special mini shows inspired in the 50s rock and roll music. They do not do the straws hairdos anymore due to saving the planet, kudos for that!

Food is good. But way way way too loud. Im in a band and it was even too loud for me. I will say it was entertaining. Long wait time tookus over an hour to be seated but service was awesome and food came quick.

Miss the old spot in Hillcrest. Food has gone down hill. Itll give you stomach aches. Over priced. Many different rooms, so you miss out on the main dancing action- need to have an open floor plan like the old spot. And the killer- no more straw hair or sassy waitresses/waiters! Our waitress this last time had no personality... We saw no dance... Our hair didnt get done and we paid an arm and a leg for fast food. Over it

We love this place. It has been a go to for birthday parties, the Limo package is the best, and friends time for the kids. The family members love it and it is a fun and up to date fun with a throw back to sock hops! Get your hair done up with straws or visit the black room! Request songs from the the DO! Loud and fast moving fun!

The decor is great and the music is also good - lots of 50s with some other amazing choices thrown in by the DJ (Curtis Mayfield was a pleasant surprise. ) But: the Reuben was not really a Reuben at all and I was pretty disappointed. Fries were good, fried pickles are excellent. Shakes look terrific. But since my main entree was kind of lackluster, I dont think Ill be back. Probably fun for kids though.

Very well done 60s dinner style kids playground. Basically the restaurant from pulp fiction brought to life, but for kids. Its like crack to them. Thankfully they have wine beer and cocktails as well. My kids love it.

This diner is amazing!! The food was great, I am vegetarian and ordered the veggie patty. Normally I dont like black bean patties but theirs is perfect, I wish more places locally had them. The server was funny and made sure we were all taken care of. Next time Im in San Diego I will be back! Family friendly too

Stopped at the Corvette Diner on our way to Cabrillo Park. A great sixties diner. Lots of paraphernalia, posters and noise. The food was good if you like battered and deep fried food. The burgers are large. Always too much food to finish. Very noisy place. Had fun.

So fun for family. They have an arcade in the back too, skeet ball, air hockey, and a lot more. My 4 and 6 year old love it. Food is a little heavy but yummy and service is above average. The music was added so much. Great 50s restaurant.

Loved the entire place, the environment, the servers, even the arcade area. I liked their take on the philly cheese steak, had all the right stuff in it, just not enough. Only down side was that they got my party members order for a cheese-less sandwich incorrect.

First time ever going to Corvette Diner. The waitress are friendly and professional they create a warm and fun environment for your family. They also have a play area for your children. The food came out at a proper time between 10- 20mins so your orders will be hot and ready to eat.

Great food and birthday celebration place

Lots of fun. My daughter & I have been coming here on Valentines day since she was 9. (16 now) She loves it. Its kinda loud. (Not good 1st date spot) They do have bar & arcade ... BONUS POINTS LOL
