Went Thursday for the $21.99 all you can eat wings and unlimited games. The wings were decent with good sauce. They come 5 at a time. The waitress brought out two orders to get started and additional wings came quick. The games, on the other hand, were a little disappointing. You could only play about 20% of the games. Only blue lit games were available. Most premium games and games with tickets were not available. Still had fun though. Overall, it was still a good deal and fun.
We had a blast here. It’s a playground for adults. We came with a large group of friends for drinks, dinner and some gaming fun. We stayed until closing because time sure does flyby when you’re having a good time. Food was good and drinks were made good as well. Will be back when this crazy pandemic is over.
Good place to bring the kids. They also have a great happy hour. The only downside is the games are a bit pricey.
Celebrated my nephews birthday here and he did have a great time. We ordered food that includes game cards and its all worth it. My parents were surprised how big their serving is, but i guess its all good to sustain you when you play after . If you wanna celebrate your birthday and have fun at the same time, this is the place for you.
Place is huge. Like a gigantic chuck e cheeses but with better food and games plus they serve alcohol. Came on a sat night, line was going out the door. Super busy. I came at 830pm n place was packed.A lot of really cool arcade games to choose from. Not cheap, you have to purchase a power card to use on the games, but can only play the arcade ones, additional attractions cost even more. Food is not cheap, but good. Probably would come back to bring my kid again, he enjoyed it.
We visited on Feb 12. The lounge had an open table which was quieter than the game area. The kid was in heaven - off to the games. The adults were taken care of by a very pleasant and efficient server. We enjoyed a delicious meal, a beer and a semi-quiet atmosphere knowing that the kid was having the time of his life. He kept appearing at the table to tell us how great it was and how much he won. He grabbed bites of his food and headed back into the fun. What a fabulous concept.
Yep. I visited David and Busters in San Diego. I love that place. We had so much fun. The food was great. The drinks were so good. They have the best drinks. I had a pineapple mojito. Some chicken strips french fries It was a lot of fun. Ive had so much fun in that place. We were there for at least 4 hours. Take the kids just go as a couple. Youll have a blast. Its so much fun.
Was super fun. Love the games and now you dont have tickets to hold.. they are kept on your power cards... bonus!!... They are currently open and have hand sanitizer in locations around the gaming area... wish there were more near open games.... went there for dinner and there was my group and one other group in the dining area... woohoo easy social distancing. More limited menu, but food is still great! Down side, no actual salads....They closed down some machines to help people social distance from each other.. If you see a game closed, look on other side or somewhere near, theres probably another of the game thats open...
Good place to grab a drink prices are a little high but its always fun. I come here at least once a month. With the whole covid stuff going on I am seriously missing this place. Cant wait to be come back.
I gotta say, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals from Pasta Sisters. We had been wanting to try them out for a while and finally got a chance to. Unfortunately, the Pico location is super tiny, which meant that we had to get our food to go. But even with the car ride, the food was still pretty tasty. My only drawback is that I would the pappardelle was a bit too thick for my taste. It looks absolutely delicious with the bolognese sauce, but I felt that it soaked up way too much of the sauce. Perhaps because I didnt eat it fresh, right out of the kitchen? Next time, I think Ill go for the tagliatelle. The husband tried the clams pasta and absolutely loved it.
OMG PLEASE open back up!!! We can’t lose this place!!!! It wouldn’t be San Diego without you
Meh, getting a deal, each credit is 20 cents. So a 8 credit game plays two minutes and costs $1.60.$45 lasted 2.5 hrs and i was being a little stingy.Besides the money aspect, there was a great selection of games! We had a group of 6 and there were a couple good games we could all play together. The nachos were divine and the waitress who helped us was friendly and helpful (sorry I can’t remember your name).
Seriously lame and very expensive. This was my second time here and I regret going again. The girl at the front was the best experience. A bunch of adult kids go here to blow there checks a d drink beer and play lame games that last but maybe a couple minutes. Get a life people
Uriel was amazing. He made our night a great one to say the least. He turned it into a great experience and I cannot thank him enough.5 thumbs up!!
While this place delivers on the fun games, it is severely lacking in food and restaurant management. This particular location ALWAYS has a minimum wait time of 30-45 minutes, while there are many tables open. There was only one server who covered the entire bar and seemingly had tables in the restaurant section as well. This shouldnt be the case, especially if there are as many empty tables as there were last night. Poor scheduling leads to delays in getting a table and getting food and/or refills. The host staff were not good, and this wasnt my only time experiencing that. The games section is large and has most of the newest games! There are a couple of new bars in the back and it wouldve been great to have those open. Maybe the bar wouldve been less crowded. Great military discounts. The food is actually good. The Carlsbad D & B has a better restaurant but less games.
This Dave and Busters is awesome. Lot of fun games for people that like tickets and people who just like the non- ticket games. The food was delicious and theyre power play combos arent a bad deal at all. Just expect to pay around $20-30 per person if youre all getting power play combos. But each power play card will last about 2 hours if you do the $20 upgrade. So a lot of potential for a great time.
The manager Chris was amazing! Really provided service that made Dave & Busters stand out from the rest of them on my birthday. Even had coolest drink in the house (Non Alcoholic) Blue Raspberry & Grape slushie topped with gummy worms (legit the best gummy worms Ive had!). Really made an impression and helped enjoy one of my favorite birthdays.
9pm Super busy 4 Adults 4 children sat at booth (all ready order food n drink) when we seen a larger table we ask if we can move the server was fine with it but when we moved that section was going to close to clean up so we had to move back but the booth we were in was taken. Since we didnt have a place to sit we went to play a few games the server went out of his way to find us know when a table was available 2 Min after sitting Our food was out :) Food was great Server was so nice.
I had the best experience ever yesterday!! It was a long wait and I had a large large they (hostess and kitchen manager I think her name was Carmen) explained to me that I could go to the bar and hangout until my table was ready. We didn’t wait that long and the food we received was amazing, the service was amazing. It has been years since my family and I have been there because of the waits but my daughter wanted that place for her birthday dinner! Kuddos to this place!!
Great games, not so great food. Open till 1 am which is definitely an advantage. Awesome crowd and the vibe sure is a contagious one. Scores of options in games but not very great for kids less than 4-5 years of age, though everyone surely is mesmerized by all the digital wonders. If you really plan to eat here - still to snacks and finger food. Though they have a proper sit down service but it turned out to be a bad idea - as I didnt like the food at all (its nicely priced, however)
The waiter was kind of Meh... same with the gal that was at the front desk. I was in a great mood but the attitude of the staff was something I had to overcome. I was really pleased to see them spraying everything down and disinfecting, however bathrooms needed cleaning. Trash was overflowing out front as well. I did really like the people that helped us when we did the virtual reality ride, those staff members get an A+.
I didnt even go, I just wanted the Google points. I did go a long time ago tho and it was really nice, yall do deserve 5
This D&B location is definitely one of my favorites. Its amazing square footage, great party location or just a fun place to watch Monday Night Football!!!! Staff is fast, friendly and fun!!!!Parking spaces are a little tight unless youre able to access handicap parking. My favorite new game is the basketball Connect 4 game!!!! A great shot and the right bounce, then BOOM CONNECT 4!!!!
Cool little place but getting an appetizer and drink is a pain.Quickest way is to get to the bar and order from there.S/O to Amanda Johnson for her superb customer service, she helped me pick out the best deal for my family without rushing me and selling me just anything. She totally set the standard for this experience. 5 stars to Amanda.
The experience can range from 2 to 4 stars (Hense 3 stars). Ive been there quite a few times. If its really busy the quality of the food goes down a bit and time it takes to complete your order can take quite a while. If you go when its a bit less busy, everything moves much smoother and is a much better experience.
You want to spend hours with your friends or family? This is exactly what you need, big restaurant with 1 side the restaurant and the other the game room. Arcade, virtual reality, etc... This is one of the best particular restaurant Ive been.
I kinda feel like my server was spread too thin. So maybe an assistant to the servers? I dont remember their name, they did great! It just seemed they had huge parties & not enough assistance.
Place is closed they could of updated their website that says they are open. Traveled 2hrs to get here
The food are good good service but I dont like the music change the, music plz
It was all going good until I found a hair in the bacon on my burger plate. I didnt want to embarrass my friend and his kid so I didnt complain and moved on to play video games. I like the place I work right next to it.
I mean you cant go wrong with a video arcade. There will be children! It gets crowded, but they have the games. Who doesnt like shooting some mini hoops for competition? Great spot for a date night.
The drinks during happy hour are a great price and very unique, best of all they are great tasting. The ultimate mac and cheese is terrific. The philly sliders were great. Overall well worth the small price for the quality of food.
Very fun place for adults and kids. Their chicken wings are bomb! And cheese curds are a must try! Love going on Wednesdays when its half off or you can get the groupon which are really good deals. I must warn u, you will probably end up spending some $$$. Too much fun, while you can get your buzz on too.
Its pretty pricey, but it just like a mature version of chucky cheese. Very loud and dark with many flashing lights. Had fun playing some old favorites. Its good for a once in a while experience.
I came here for Monday night football. They have plenty of TVs to watch the game on. Drinks were good and the bartenders were attentive. I recommend stopping by for happy hour. Their games are fun and entertaining.
I ordered theTuscan chicken Alfredo. I asked for the chicken well done and I got a perfect meal... I dont know if they always cook the chicken that delicious or it was cooked well done for me... on the other hand, if I had to rate the wait time and waitress that would be 1 - 2 stars. not professional, talking back when she did not do her job right (she didnt give us the kids menu to order) and moody (I guess because we were mostly kids and women and not men). We where there to celebrate my sons birthday who turned 8 years old and I wished they had joined us to sign to him. That was the last time we go there. I can go anywhere else and have nice people attend to us for way less $$$. Lastly, actually the ribbs were also delicious, I guess the food was great.
Dave and Busters is a great place no matter what youre in the mood for. Got little ones with you? Bring for the games. Young at heart, theres still games... And alcohol. And of course great food. We were there for the NFC championship game a couple weeks ago and will be back tomorrow for Super Bowl. (go Niners!)Its always a great place to play, drink, eat, and enjoy some sports. In no particular order.
Loved it!! Such a nice environment to just chill and have fun. Loved the fact that you can have your drinks with you in the game area and theres small tables set up by the games for you to temporarily set down your drink. Would definitely recommend and will visit again soon.
GOTTA SAY THAT NICK FROM THE BACK BAR TOOK CARE OF MY WIFE AND I. HE HAD VERY AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. HE MADE US FEEL LIKE WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS AT THE BARSIDE. OUR DRINKS WERE MADE PERFECT!
Everything about this place is good.
Its a cool spot. Awesome drinks, great happy hour and late night happy hour. They have some keto food options like zucchini noodles and lettuce wrapped burgers.
What a perfect place to host my son Jimmys 9th birthday!
This place reminds me of a casino without the smoke and video games instead of slots. They have a large menu, but a lot of fried food. Food is fine, but even the good stuff is not great. They have a huge liquor menu and half priced drinks at happy hour. However, I had three skinny margaritas and each one was wildly different, with the 3rd being so sour i asked them to remake it.Thus place gets very busy. We got there before 6:30 on a Monday, and they had a wait. There is a large parking lot, but even that gets full on weekends.Kids love this place.
Food is good but takes 30minutes. They say 20min. But its a lie. Service is horrible. You cant leave your table if its more than 6 min. Even if you have your food or unfinished drinks in the table. Cassidy our waitress cleared my table for the next people. Justin Manager could not offer me another table. Had to wait again 30 minutes for them to have my untouched food prepared to leave.
Fairly busy but as long as people are courteous things move quickly. Oh and if you dont like loud place do not come here l. Think casino for kids.
Awesome menu, a fancy bar and plenty of games! I usually spend 50-60 bucks and 2-3 hours. Tickets dont get you very much but I always leave happy.
Great place for kids and adults. It was a little pricey for my budget but my kids had so much fun so it was worth it. We will go again hopefully in summer
We had a blast. Saw games ive never seen...great time with my daughter.
Only went here for the entertainment, no food. The overall environment is what an arcade should be. Nice staff, lovely games, I would want there to be more racing games and older games. Bathrooms could be worked on a little more. If you are in Downtown San Diego this is a pretty good arcade. No opinion on the food though.
Best place to join friends and family in an exciting game day experience and great food all year long. Baseball football basketballCollege and pro teams on at least 50 screens throughout Dave and busters. We go at least once a week for all you can eat wings includes tokens and free smiles
I love Dave and busters and when people rate it bad they always say the same stuff it’s too crowded or they are mad they suck at games. I come here weekly and the only thing I wish they would change is move the dance games to a air conditioned location as you can see these people sweating and I know how much they play I’m one of them but a lot of these guys smell bad so it’s be beneficial for everyone.
Horrible service! We got there with a large party, and told us the wait was for 45 minutes. We waited for over an hour while there was empty tables all around us. Never eating there again! And every time we would ask how much longer they gave us attitude . They need to treat customers right and managers need to talk to their staff to be friendlier and professional.
Great parking in a secluded area away from residences, and beneath the 8 & 805 interchange. Fair food but always fun and good vibes and times for all kids involved. Mediocre food and prices but always busy in one form or another. Large party and meeting spaces are separated from the hustle and bustle of the game and food floor. Large selection of brews that seem to be fair deals for pints.
Love Dave and Busters. Appropriate for all ages. Food is good. Service is slow
If you are a game addict, you might enjoy it, bit not my kind of place
Great place, fun for everyone. Food is great as well.
Had some left over D&B game cards from a team building event, so my son wanted to use them all. We stopped in the dining room first. Room wasnt very crowded but I only saw 2 wait staff for the whole place & our server seemed rushed. Our dinners were decent but nothing remarkable. Might try the bar area next time. Played games for 45 minutes but was worried about all the surfaces that needed cleaning. Im sure they have procedures to cope with this virus but I hope they do a better job soon or business will really slow down.
So much fun! My sons birthday was a success. Everyone was very helpful and attentive to our groups needs.
Happy atmosphere...clean....never enough tokens I want more more Haha.
The wife and I had a GREAT day date while the kids were in school. Not just a fun nightlife spot but also an amazing day spot too for lunch.
Awesome idea to mix an arcade with a bar/restaurant! Cheap drinks and shots, specially when its happy hour. The arcade has new and older machines. A good place to have a good time with friends. I recommend it!
Had excellent family time at Dave and Busters in Mission Valley! Fun games! Great food and drinks!
This place is pretty awesome in Wednesdays. A lot of great deals on food and drink. Family atmosphere
Its okay. Games are not bad but very crowded so hard to play anything good. Food was okay at best as well. Appetizers were better then the entrees. Server was not very attentive and neglected to give us the bare essentials such as plates and utensils etc. Had to ask at least 4 other servers to get service because our server was no where to be found. Either way the environment was nice food was okay but Id consider going somewhere else.
My friends and I usually love coming here, we watch most big sport events here. Tonight they are charging a $10 cover charge in the event room only, so first come first serve, to watch the UFC fight. That is ridiculous, as if we aren’t paying enough in alcohol or food or chips while being there. We were wondering why so many cars were leaving the parking lot when we pulled in, and once we figured out why we were also one of those vehicles. We went to a different bar to watch!
Service was not good! Constantly had to ask for refills and even had to waive my server down each time. Recommend training in awareness!
Good selection of games, fast friendly service. We only went for the arcade so I cannot speak to the food. We did order one drink and it was alright, about what you expect from a main stream restaurant. Overall do plan to bring the kids back sometime.
Should update there status as temporarily closed instead of us driving a half an hour out.
Ive visited this Dave and Busters a few times in the past and its too crowded and too rowdy for my taste. Happy hour specials for drinks are great, but I wish they had a wider variety of lighter fare and/or vegetarian options. It seems that packing everyone in like sardines is standard, good luck finding a seat at the bar! It was so loud inside I couldnt hear a word my boyfriend said; he was standing right next to me. As expected, there were children (and some adults) running amok in the arcade, pushing, shoving, yelling, and adding to the general chaos already present. This isnt a place I would choose to spend an evening, but my coworkers love it here, so Ill continue to frequent this establishment with them.
We came here Wednesday night to celebrate my little guys promotion. The service was pleasant and friendly. From the front desk where you get your cards to our server. However, the reason behind the three was due to the food. First thing when you tend to order at an eatery are drinks, we ask for water, but didnt come right away. Typically you get these after you sit down while you look at the menu. Once we ordered the food came to us warm. The burgers(The Super Stack), chicken tenders and fries were warm. The sliders and mac and cheese were dry.The food took some time to get to us which was probably why they were warm. It was a busy night, so perhaps too many tables to wait on.Either way the kids enjoyed the games
Server was a nice guy but the food was cold, drinks took a long time but still love this place.
We used Groupon deals for unlimited video games here. There were very few video games to actually play but we made the best out of it and had such a great time. We are definitely coming back.
My fiancé and me went for date night, we had an awesome time, I just love it here because they have lot of arcade games and it is always clean!
Lots of fun to be had here. Plenty of games for different types of gamers. Food is pretty good, but a little expensive for what you get. I think the most fun is to get a drink and walk around and play games. If you get here while its busy grab a drink and play games until your table is ready.
This place is good for a good time for young adults. If you dont mind meh level food and somewhat good prices, youll have a good time. It should be known that the parking is kinda hard to get into the lot. Also, the place could use a spruce up! Some games were heavily used and needed a fix. The carpets could use a clean also. Im sure that the carpets are hard to keep clean there because of the crowd. I think its a fun location for young adults, but Im a little older and it wasnt the best time for me. Would recommend going on a non-busy day if youd want to go and you are over 30. I think Sundays are less crowded and would offer a better experience. Nice staff that were friendly and took my order timely. Could use some better organization, but good times were there regardless.I do enjoy the games even though they weren’t in the best condition overall. Most worked and it seemed like you always win a prize ticket. I think after a few hours I had so many tickets I was able to trade them in for a nice prize, which was rewarding and fun to experience since it’s been so long since I was there!
Good food. Great for teens and anyone that loves playing games. Food area not too noisy, but back room is, as to be expected. Really hopping on a Saturday night. Looked like everyone was having a great time. Waiters and waitresses do a good job of keeping up with orders and food was out in a reasonable time. Would go again.
Only been in here twice, Ive had an amazing experience both times. The waiters that attended us were super nice. I recommend going on Wednesdays which I believe is the only day of the week where their games are half off!
Its okay is different since the last time I was there I like the games that they used to have better like the roller coaster game so Im not feeling their games anymore but the food is excellent
Honestly feel like that 21.99(or whatever the price) deal for unlimited games and wings was a bit of a rip off. My girlfriend and I did it and it cost us roughly 50 bucks to do so. Less than half the games is what you get and all but 4 were just shooting games, even though you already have a card they make you get another one thats unlimited but its just a normal D&B card you can reuse. So pretty much you get charged 21 plus if you consider the card. . Youre better off just ordering off the menu and putting 12 odd bucks worth on a card.
I love coming here but they took the wings and quesadillas off the happy hour menu. They have a new happy hour bites which suck. The corn bread with pork, the pork falls off easily and it was ok. The quesadilla bites r good but not enough. They should bring wings back to happy hour #fail
Games were awesome, customer service was not. Front desk and server did not seem remotely content to do anything.
The games while fun are not plenty enough even during a fairly quiet evening to not have waits. There is almost no staff at the bar area, and many games had one or more players out of order. Fine enough if you have unlimited play and go when its quiet.
Had a birthday party there Josh Collins and the rest of the staff were amazing. My family can be a handful and he handled it like an all star.
Love coming here, tons of fun! Great deals on Wednesday for the whole familyAlso great staff here, the front desk workers are fantastic
A lot of the games were out of order when I went, the bartenders werent very attentive to my friend and I, and when our appetizers arrived they were COLD. We sent one of them back and the replacement was slightly warm, so we just decided not to complain. It was my first time, and though it was ok, I probably wouldnt make this a regular thing. My friend had fun with your claw machine though!
Bartenders are great! The Service is awesome! Cant wait to to go back!
I loved it so much!! It so cool and in my opinion perfect for adults and tenagers! So much fun!
For going for the first time it went great.Great food friendly staff and patient as well couldnt ask for anything else thank you.Forgot to mention that Joseph was one of the people that made it great and so did Rayne(we had a little miscommunication abiut the power and play although she patiently made our experience from ok to a wow).
Great games! Drinks werent crazy pricey and very delicious, and the staff was very prompt and helpful
I came to have a good time with a group of 20+ people for a company party, and since I’ve lost my Texas ID the only form of identification I have at the moment is my Resident Card (green card) which shows my name and date of birth and it is a valid government issued ID. The bartender and the Manager Dan Dornfeld repeatedly said that my Resident Card (Federal ID) was NOT a valid form of ID, I asked why, and he replied that they cannot see my eye color, height and weight information on the card, then they continue asking if I had a passport or a military ID (Which those don’t show that info either). I have never felt so discriminated, humiliated and embarrassed in front of a lot of people as he escalated the situation by screaming at me instead of looking for another solution. And it is so unfair how they took my husband’s EXPIRED passport instead of my valid Resident Card. I have been a loyal customer at your locations here in San Diego and in Houston, Texas. I was also planning on celebrating my daughter’s birthday party in October but I will just take my business to another place where I won’t be discriminated by my ethnicity.
Decent food and drinks. I just wish theyd kick the kids (15 and under) out after 9pm. I mean really. If you have/allow your kids out past that time at such a place. You should review your parenting techniques. Plus, theyre just in the way of the adults.
Typical dave and busters. Arcade with drinks! They now have the impossible burger which I highly recommend.
Good bar food, plenty of arcades. Parking spots are tight. Even for small compact cars
Really nice place to have fun with children and delicius food, my son got a lot of fun.
Went on a Saturday was not overcrowded but it was busy. The service was awful!!! the waitress wouldnt come to the table at all, I was just hoping to get good service for the price you pay but she was just very excited when we were leaving and she came up to check if we were ready to pay 3 times. that was the most that we saw her the whole time we where there. I order a bloody Mary that they have advertise with olives and bacon and the bloody Mary came with no olives nor bacon. I asked for it she brought it back with the olives and bacon and then also I order a mule drink that they also have advertised comes in a souvenir cup and she went ahead and order it but she brought it with no souvenir cup. Until I asked for the souvenir cup was told that they ran out. I totally understand you can run out but at least let me know because they didnt even give a discount or anything not even 25 cents for the inconvenience. I tried to make the best out of and and still had fun but over all I wont recommend it its too expensive and not good service at all.
