They have a workout area, but there are many people that use the area. And no one ever wipes down the equipment. For example, pull-up bars exist which everyone likes to use. But NO user ever wipes the bar before or after use. That is COVID-19 waiting to transfer!

Always inspiring to go here, plenty of parking. New calisthenics / body weight fitness setup here. Love that the grass is always green the wind is lightly blowing and this place is so nice to come for a picnic or exercise. Riding bikes down the sidewalk is great. Trash bins are along the route. Keep it clean and Classy San Diego.

Fun spot for the whole family. Restrooms are pretty clean for public park restrooms. Safe no wake zone for the kids to go swimming. Water is generally a little warmer than PB or OB.

Always nice to be at the the ocean and it felt like a Saturday! Pretty festive and they had a few volleyball games going, a nice breeze and then the sun went down and it cold real fast and everyone left real fast! Always nice to be there.

San Diego has a lot of incredible beaches. Im not sure why you would pick this place. It does have fire pits, picnic tables, and a big parking lot, so I guess theres that.

As so many do now, finding a new place to go to in these odd covid19 days is important. Coming here is always a good change of pace. The combination of sun, breeze and water makes the day a little better. Love walks here with my sweetie. The only caveat, a lot of folks on the walkway are not wearing masks. Id suggest going early, or late. Its too nice to miss out on this very enjoyable spot.

The park is huge and there are a lot of activities to do like skating, cycling, jet skiing and more. You can barbecue, just bring coals and a source for fire. Or pack a picnic lunch. The atmosphere is perfect for it. Especially in the summer.I wouldnt recommend swimming in the water though. It was quite murky and not nice.Parking is free, as well.

Great place in San Diego to relax. Restrooms, drinking fountain, beach, work out area and paved walking path. The workout area is currently closed for covid but usually ready to go. Good amount of parking and never crowded. Only downside is its near the freeway and the background noise is there but not obtrusive.I like walking the path and then stopping to work out and relax on the grass.

The park it’s a very nice park only have one thing, You have a lot of homeless people that are sleeping at the park which is understandable, that is their only option for them to have a place to stay otherwise than that it’s a lovely park I’ve only been there twice but this is the last time I will go because of the homeless very hard to find parking at times!

Need a brake from the grind of San Diegos third world street and overly rude and entitled hipster (expletive deleted) it is a chill place to bbq, a beverage, watch the sunset over the water and light a bonfire. There does seem to be a lot of homeless but they leave you alone. All and all the freeway noise is more bothersome then they are and its not bad.

I used to go over to the park quite often because I live so close to it and take the dog over. They have a limited hours that you can have a pet there. And Im not sure what they are currently they do change and you can get a fine if you have your pet there out of the hours that they are allowed.

Ri
Review №88

Campground is nice and clean. It has its own beach but the water is filled with plants at the bottom so it doesn’t feel clean to walk in. There is a nice bike path along the shore for about 3-4 miles and a deserted trailer park to ride bikes in and see in the abandoned trailers. My only issue is the trailer spots are straight in so backing a big 5th wheel is tricky. We’ve been there 4 times so all in all it’s ok.

Lots of people come here. Youre allowed to build a fire in the barbecue pit. It has an area for parties that you can book in advance. Its clean and has a beautiful soft lawn to play on or picnic on. Has picnic tables. At night the lights across the way shimmer on the water. You can catch a nice cool breeze there as well. A lot of the parking lot is well shaded which is important to me - especially in the summer.
