The tables and chairs that were here some time ago have been removed from the end of the pier. When this first open, they were fully available and great place to hang out & eat lunch, have a snack, or just relax. Not sure why they removed but my guess would be to many transients hanging out there making people uncomfortable. Still, the views are beautiful. Nice SD history lesson if you look down & read the plaques on your walk out to the end of the pier.

Just a nice place to walk around and enjoy the view. Plenty of boats to watch. Located right on the bay. The building itself appears to be closed but you can walk around the pier. Has some outdoor seating and public restrooms. I remember this is a good spot to see the fireworks on the fourth of July.

I grew up in San Diego and I can say its worth walking from Seaport Village all the way down to Waterfront park. On your way there you get to see an amazing view and the historical ships docked to take a tour. Taking the ferry to the other side Coronado was a very cool experience. I recommend taking some time to do all that you might not noticed but there is a lot you can do in the beautiful side of San Diego and at night if you do a drive by there the city lights are beautiful!!

I enjoy doing daycation kind of things in San Diego that only take 3-4 hours. Going on the ferry boat to Coronado from the Broadway pier is perfect on a sunny day. Walking around the little shops with great things to buy and places to eat/snack at. We brought our lunch and picniced by the little pond area.

Not much here, except for less crowds and a better waterfront view (as long as a cruise ship isnt using the terminal). Come down at sunset, sit back and relax!
