Decent theatre that might not pop up on the radar for a lot of folks. Free parking lot. Decent lighting and sound. Not a bad place for a show

Wonderful staff of women who started and have been running this company. I saw Red Bike there in January of 2020. The show was amazing, I laughed, I nearly cried and I got to relive being 11. The space is nice and they do a great job bringing a production team together to put on great theater.

More honest and diverse images of women. Thats what this theatre is all about. Every play written and produced by women in quality theatre production. In their 15th season (2019), award winning plays 4x a season.

Excellent productions: the Revolutionists, Bliss. Great, friendly, artistically driven people, excellent casting, adventurous productions. The physical theatre itself is just a big long room with the stage along one long wall and maybe seven or so rows of raked comfortable seats. They make theatre magic in it!

I suppose it all depends on what youre going to the theater for; so with that in mind:there isnt a bad seat in the house as far as being able to see/hear the stage as its a rather small area in totalthe parking lot is awful (its like they based the parking spots off of one of those electrical cars children ride around in (super tight spots)) but at least theres parkingtheres not really anything special about it, its located amongst several shops kinda hidden in a corner

This is a wonderful theatre with talented actors. The theatre is clean and has comfy seats. The bathroom could be fixed up a little. The lobby is quaint. They sell a small variety of snacks: cookies, candy, etc. Overall, I had a great time at the Moxie and will definitely frequent.

Small intimate theater. Their Enron show was awesome. They do often have topical shows, with a feminist angle. Small venue so every seat is a good seat. Doesnt get much better than this for small community theater.

Despite its size, Moxie consistently does some of the most daring and beautiful work in San Diego. Their focus on stories by and about women fills an important role in the theatre community, but rest assured: their plays are relevant and enjoyable to all, regardless of gender.
