WOW!!!! What awesome pianists and singers they are!!! It was so much fun! They had the audience sing-along, you could request songs, and the servers were super attentive to bringing beverages to your tables. There was a good atmosphere and vibe. Food was available as well.We called ahead to make reservations, this required a $5 deposit per person, and we had to be there no later than 8 p.m. to make the reservation.

This is the absolute number one bar in San Diego. If you only have one night out with friends in San Diego, this is the only bar you need to go to.Food and drinks are great and the pianists are the reason I keep coming back. They are extremely talented, and can play anything from Mozart to Dr. Dre. Awesome at singing or rapping any genre of music and great with crowd interaction. Enjoy going to this top notch bar!

My visit to The Shout! House was shorter than I would have wanted, but it was awesome! I only had one drink while I was here, a $7 Angry Orchard. A bit pricey, but the service was quick. The main attraction of the bar is the dueling pianos. Its as great as you can imagine, two people playing old and new renditions on their pianos as they compete for the best interaction with the crowd. It was amazing and itll be the first stop I make when I go back to San Diego.

We love the Shout House! This is a great place to go on a date or with a large party. We got reservations for a birthday party (26 people) and had one of the balconies to ourselves. Several times throughout the night people would try to squeeze into our space but security consistently kept them out. The staff was fantastic, the drinks are good (and reasonably priced), and the atmosphere is great.

Well, it’s dueling pianos. It was a Thursday. I’d use the word talent loosely. I’ve been to piano bars (and I LOVE piano bars) around the US and this was by far the worst I’ve ever seen. They seemingly had 1 talented performer and picked a couple of people off the street to fill in for the opposite piano. I’ve never heard so much, “I can’t play that, I don’t know that, hmmm” in my life. As a total aside, whatever you do, don’t disgrace Tom Petty and ask them to play it- they’ll butcher his work.

We stumbled across this place by chance and am so glad we bothered. It took about 30 minutes to line up to enter, and then $12 cover charge per person, but we had ended up staying here for about 5 hours. It was very entertaining and great music. It was very interactive with the crowd and created plenty of laughs. It started to empty out at about 12:30-1am and wasn’t quite as much fun from then on, but can’t really blame them after performing for hours. Highly recommend going.

This place was good for being a weeknight. However, We were very disappointed with the bar staff. We tried to order a drink but were told that they will not open the bottle until they sell the off-brand version that they were trying to get rid of. We were told that it would be fine because they were very similar but might taste different. As an individual that has worked in the bar industry for over 16 years, I would never tell this to a customer. Word to the not so wise, we may have tried the other had they simply said they were out. Telling us we you are refusing to serve us what we want because you want to offload something your suppliers probably gave you for free simply for ordering the liquor I was willing to pay for. Rather insulting. I know it is a decision probably put in place by management but it was rather insulting. On a lighter note, the entertainment was lively. They were engaging and funny. I love piano bars and this place didnt fail me in that aspect.

I visited The Shout House on, Friday 6-14-19 We arrived promptly 6:30 pm and there was only one table left (We had no reservations). Reservations are the way to go. I had an outstanding time. The drinks were deliciously made (Cadillac Margaritas). By 7 pm the place was packed and the music was going. We had dinner there and surprisingly it was very good. I had the steak frites ( asked for medium and it was cooked perfectly) and my friend had the burger and fries which was also cooked exactly as asked. The musicians are exceptional. You can tell they love what they do! The crowd was very mixed age-wise 20s-70s. One big, fun party. Great evening!

It was pretty full and got hot, but seemed to cool down and got more comfortable as the night went on. The fun dueling piano entertainment is definitely worth coming to check out.
