The is my favorite place to go party in San Diego, CA, whenever Im there. They play great reggae and African songs and its always a party inside. It gets crowded in a good way. The drinks are good. Just an awesome and good vibes SF scene kinda place. I love it.

Sunday nights are filled with so much energy!

One of the best clubs around!! I celebrated my birthday here last Saturday 7/1 and Erin was nice enough to answer all my questions. We got a bottle service and were seated right away. The bartender LILO I believe was her name, was very sweet and even help Serve us our first drinks!! Reading all the negative reviews almost made me skip this experience but you have to live it yourself and you decide. Give it a try!! Spanish music was on point, Hip-hop music was lit and the bathrooms were clean. Will come back again to this club!

MADONNA MASHUP NIGHT OMG MUSIC SO GOOD. The venue is huge too, tons of different rooms for dancing.Docking a star for the bar being cash only--I dunno if thats a standard in this neighborhood, but it made it pretty damn annoying to get a drink. Nonetheless, would totally come again.

This is not a Jamaican club this it’s just a normal club for people from the Caribbean

It was a fun night at F6ix to celebrate a friends birthday. Atmosphere was good. The only thing I didnt like was right when you entered the venue it was packed with no space to move around.

Absolutely loved Pier 39. I made it a point to try as many food spots and see as many attractions as I could while there. The sea lions are a must, the aquarium was small but still pretty fun. Plenty to see and do at the pier, its perfect for tourists and Fishermans wharf is just a short walk away.

Ugh, this place just reminded me that Im no longer a recent grad. Went to their Friday happy hour which seemed good on paper. We got there at 7 and were met with a crowd of people, long lines to get drinks and really loud music. Left after one drink, because apparently I am my parents now and those things bother me.

After attending an outdoor dance party in Dolores Park and perusing the streets we decided to go to the DNA lounge for their Bootie event that features mash ups with top 40 hits. I am not the club type and will probably never become one but this place was nuts. However I was upset that I had to pay 20 bucks to get in actually 40 to get my friend in. So the whole night I had to think about that and at the same time have some fun which I did.

Friend who is half Senegalese brought me to this restaurant. Never tried Senegalese food before so I let my friend choose my food.

Affordable place to had pint of beer. I enjoyed the live performance. Staff were nice.

Hip hop music was good, not great. Cheesy/cheap decor. Bartenders were attentive but drinks were overpriced. To small of an area with standing room only. Cover charge was too expensive for what the club was. Club is 8 years old but just looks old and cheap. Too bad.

Had A great time. DJ was AMAZING security was not overbearing or disrespectful. Ladies were dancing and having a good time as well. I was visiting from NC and would definitely be willing to revisit.

The staff was super nice at this place. It’s small though.

The bartender was to rude. I asked for a regular margarita. He put sprite in it. When I told him to make it correctly, he told me he did not know how to make one. I told he the ingredients and he argued with me. Sweet and sour, tequila, triple sec and salt rim... He then refused to make it. He put tequila and club soda in a glass and said that was a margarita, then told me to go to another bartender because he refused to serve me again! I will never return here again!

Worst service. Rude and wont accommodate high paying vip members.

So this place seemed like it was lit inside due to the fact that I could hear the music and all the fun people were having while I was waiting in line but I did not make it inside to really experience it! Wednesday night got in a very short line at 1 am, waited for 30 minutes, bouncers let us through and then the girl at the door gave a nasty attitude and told my friend and I that there is a $15 cover when they are going to close in less than an hour (kind of a rip off). So I did not make it inside, plan to next time, maybe I will have a better experience!

From Dallas TX, looking for a nice club to go in California on Saturday.... After seeing the reviews,I was discouraged. Still went to see myself but surprisingly, I was extremely satisfied with the club. The securities, bartenders,dj, and people were cool.Also, clean environment....will be back soon

Never in a million years would I think I’ll have to run for my life because of your poor staff ! Somebody was able to bring a gun into your place of business. RUINED THE WHOLE NIGHT WHICH IT WAS ONLY 10:45pm. Wasted money because we didn’t get to see the artist (blueface) because your staff didn’t do their jobs !! And the door girl is rude I HATE THIS PLACE

F6ix is ALWAYS trash. A “regular” disrespected my friend & I on her last day in San Diego by swinging on us on our way out of the club and the general manager asked us what happened and didn’t believe us because she was a “regular”. EXTREMELY unprofessional and immature of the whole staff.

This place is full or power tripping bouncers and verity guards. These guys need to relax. Avoid this place you’ll be wasting your night. So many other respectable places to visit.

The bouncer literally right now tells me I cant go in because I got shorts on but the guy in front of me goes right in just because he knows they guys at the front. He tells me you aint him, life sucks sometimes what kind of business are they running here. Dont waste your time at this place

Such a wonderful experience. During our weekend escape in San Diego, two girlfriends and I, being hip hop fans, asked where the best hip hip club would be? This was the only suggestion. We show up and the line is SO long and crazy. We approach one of the promo guys, Todd, who appreciated us being out-of-town and so kindly helped us get in faster. He was incredible, such a nice, sweet guy that supported us having a good time. Best promotor I have ever interacted with. Anyway, simply put, this place is incredible. If you are ever in San Diego, love hip-hop, and a good environment check it out! :)

Pure Fiyah for Reggae Sundays

I got kicked out for being drunk. I had one drink all night. The staff is rude and obviously uptight. Pretty much typical lame, and over hyped night club.

Too small and the only way you can sit down is bottle service. For the price of the high drinks you should be able to sit down without doing bottle service. The ladys restroom is too dark inside. Didnt like it

Music, people, atmosphere were all great. it was alive in there whereas other clubs were pretty dead

Went out for my girlfriends birthday with a bunch of our friends and I sat down for a few moments to catch my breath and security came up to me and forcefully grabbed my arm and kicked me out for sleeping and being “too drunk”. I tried talking to the manager with a friend of mine but he was on a power trip just like all of the other bouncers and refused to listen, he then threatened to call the police on us and then walked away.

Lost my keys here they were not really of help trying to help me locate them and the bathrooms are dirty but they played good music if thats what youre looking for

Worst establishment I have ever been to! The staff are extremely rude, especially the staff that brings the alcohol to the tables, I was literally shoved aside and spilled my cocktail that I spent $15 for. The bathrooms were also disgusting and each sink had a note attached to the mirror that stated tip first before using so unprofessional!

I will not recommend this place to anyone.Reasons are:Last year my friend had three VIP tables and he put my name on the list, once i got to the door ad told them my name the bouncer claimed that they VIP tables were full. The next day after confronting my friend he claimed the VIP tables were never full.Another night my fiends wanted to go here and we put our name on the guest list, we got to the bouncer he confirms it, we get downstair and the lady in the booth ask us to pay $10 to get in, we told her we was on the guest list she told us that we was not. After we confront the bouncer in the front he lies to us and to his super by claiming he never told us we was in the guest list.Every time i come to this establishment there is always drama.

Too darn crowded!! Stood in line for an hour. Ladies, wear your hair up, or youll sweat it out! DJ was decent, but no room to dance. I didnt like the strip competition either with all these drooling, grabby guys standing around. $20 to get in, drinks are ridiculously expensive and weak.

I can see why a lot of people wouldnt like it. I honestly had a really great time. Obviously its going to be filled with a bunch of younger people since San Diego doesnt have a lot of 18+ clubs and this one has 18+ about every Thursday. The DJ played only hip-hop/ trap and I really loved it. Its pretty ratchet but hey atleast everyone is dancing and having a great time even though the place was small. LET LOOSE PEOPLE!! Not every thing has to be upscale for you to have a good time lol

This place felt like where all the high school kids come to hang out on the weekend. I think it was pretty lame. Dance floor was a joke and way to small. As far as music lets just say Id be a better dj without having any experience. And since when do you need to hand out a dollar to get a bartender attention so I can order a drink and then retip for the same drink . This place thumbs down spend your money elsewhere.

Great night club, common among minorities downtown, a mixed age crowd, can get crowded, smaller than AD nightclub, but music is nice and more rap hip hop dance music...

This place is the worst the service sucks and the people are rude I came in on a Thursday and At 830pm and the doors are supposed to be free before 10pm and I was here over a hour and a half early and they let 3 people every 30 mins so that they can still charge people over 20 dollars I HIGHLY ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO COME HERE ITS RATCHET AND THE STAFFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE NEGItive 5STARRSS

Hip Hop and R&B music at its finest.

Everyone is black and dances ratchet so dont go if ur conservative or uptight in the slightest. But if u go with a group of girls or as a dude its pretty dam fun.

Easily one of my favorite places to dance to hip hop in the Gaslamp. The dance floor isnt huge but its always a great time.

Honestly it was by far the worst night club that I have ever been to. I can only compare it to being at a middle school party with somebody playing their ipod on a pocket speaker. Defenitely will not recommend it to anybody... like ever not even to those who I hate.

Lost my glasses, tried calling and left a voice mail. Never got back. Would rate higher if wasnt for that.

Great atmosphere, good mixture of ethnicities, half naked bartenders, and $1000 for a bottle of vodka on ice with a sparkler delivered to you by a stripper.

Horrible night club, they said my card was delcined when i bought a table. Paid them in cash, little did i know my card was not declined it went through! Spent 1200$ on an underated experience. Once again, what a surprise another club filled with stuck up women.I really dont understand why they come out the house and act like that but oh well.

5 security guards choked a guy out and assisted him for just asking for a manager to explain why the pub crawl tickets don’t work!

I go to F6ix on a very regular basis, I love the environment and I love the music, all of the staff is very friendly and they do their job very well.

Was literally the worst club ive ever been to. Security changed the price on me 3 times. Everyone was stuck in the same place with no smoking patio unless you were 21. Couldnt even leave to get fresh air.
