Came here for the first time on a date last Monday & we both ordered their margs during happy hour. I first ordered their regular margarita, while my partner ordered their Pineapple Margarita. I have to say... after sipping his drink, I had to order my own. It was rimmed with their housemade chili salt-- it has a bit of a kick but it compliments the sweetness from the pineapple perfectly.

Small, unassuming, yet when you walk in and take the little jaunt through to the dining area, youre transported back to Louisiana! Definitely check this place out if youre in the neighborhood. And if youre not in the neighborhood, GO THERE! Its worth it!

Don’t go here, it is dead. No sign outside and I walked outside of it twice before I found by address. When I got there they told me they were closed. 1014 5th.

This place was closed with a huge white lock on the door. We went yesterday and today a thursday by the way. The view looked good from the window. It is crazy trying to find the place because the sign blend in with the atmosphere. Or maybe because they were closed and would maybe have a line? .... What a waste. Fix your hours online

Second time back, Im never disappointed. Low cover, cheap drinks and great diverse music with two alternative rooms. Not a fuss to get to the bar. Dont come here in heels or your best outfit. Just relax attire and vibe out!

I would not refer to this place as good nor bad. I will say if you are looking for a place to turn up with good trap music/hood feel then this is the place for you. If you are looking for a upscale, classy, or sophisticated feel then this is definitely not the place to be.

The promoter pushed out texts that there was a dress code. That was a lie. People wore tennis shoes, cut up gym clothes and jeans. We were rushed out of the club at 130a.m. then hurried off of the side walk while trying to get into our Uber from in front of the club like peasants after spending $1000 at the bar. Dont waste your money at this bottom feeder, classless establishment.

Anytime Im in San Diego this is my go to place hip hop club!

PHANTOM MENACE!!! This ghetto “hookah” crack house is fraught with the exact menacing thug crowd the residents and businesses were afraid of. Drive-by-shootings, brawls, hooliganism you name it .This dump is the smallest business on the street, but of course causes the most disruption! It’s filthy and the people going in and out urinate right in front of the doors. Security guards heed no professionalism, as obviously civility is vacant as crowds get wasted and the violence and disruption proceed.They’re constantly being cited by the city and they’re liquor license has been suspended multiple times. Great place to get jumped, shot or worse.

I dont enjoy smoking hookah but I do enjoy going to this lounge. Decent djayz

Went as a guest for my friends birthday the dj plays radio music and even with it being my friends bday, he wouldnt play a requested song, rude and not personable.

Good lounge. Lots of young 21 year-olds, but its gay friendly and the music is on point if you like hip hop and rap.

The hookah was great, but the space provided was fairly tight because of the large round glass tables. More people would fit in if the tables where smaller or a different shape.

A group of us were approached on gas lamp by a promoter for the club. He promised all trap rap no EDM. He definitely came through on that promise. The atmosphere is where its at! If they could draw more people in there, theyd have THE place in gaslamp for the hiphop crowd. We had a few drinks and a hookah. Bottles where cheaper than any other place youll find in gaslamp. Hookah also was super affordable. The bottle service ladies are beautiful and nice. We would have stayed longer but the amount of people in the building didnt make it hot. All this place needs is more people in the doors and itll be A1.

Good hiphop music but no room to move always to many people, no dance floor people dancing in the walk ways also restrooms are usually nasty.

I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially women. Went there Thursday night and heard multiple security bouncers outside of the establishment yelling obscene and sexual comments to all the women walking by. Being sexually harassed by the staff is not how we wanted to spend our evening.
