Really cool! We’ve been here for a year and this was our first experience: theater is nice and clean! Nachos were old and stale but other than that it was really good experience.

A was the most amazing ceremony I have ever been to. The graduation of police officers..congratulations to all. God bless America. A was a privilege to attend to this beautiful ceremony.

I always have a good experience here. No complaints. If there is a new movie that you’re trying to see, go early because the line to pay gets pretty long & if you’re like me and you like to watch the previews as well as get popcorn, then you definitely need to get there about 30mins before your show starts so you don’t miss the previews.

My niece graduated the San Diego Police Department . I’m so proud of her!! The theater was nice and the American flag was stunning!!

Love this place. Nice and clean all the time. Price is good and has Korean movie too. Parking is not good sometimes especially weekend and holiday. Get the membership then you can get free admission and pop corn.

We love going to the base, and price is great. I buy the card, so I get 12 movies for the price of 10. However, they have older movies and sometimes R rated that we dont want to see. I hope the Active duty Marines like them...its more for them!

Clean, welcoming, and high capacity. The building is well maintained, and if you have base access, you cant beat their price for movies!

Need to upgrade on the sound system. Sometimes its difficult to see if somebody tall sits in front of you. But great for a military theater. Lot bigger than you expect.

Wish I could describe how I feel about the Bob Hope Theater and all the people who work there, great, super, unbelievable,,,are words they dont show the deeds.

Lines are a little long at times but you cant beat the price. The seats are comfortable and theres a lot of room in tge theater.

I always have a pleasant experience here. Nice and spacious. The concession stand can get pretty backed up but they have good prices. If youre coming here for a free screening you might want to get here early because it will be packed.

Great movie theater on base. One screen with limited selection but tickets are cheap and snacks are reasonable. Beer and wine available. Movies are delayed after release. Screen is awesome as is sound. Hundreds of seats ensure you can always find a seat.

You can’t beat the prices to see semi new movies and great concessions. We have been to other base theaters and this is by far the best.

This place is very old, but has been updated and the acoustics improved. Seating is comfortable and the multipurpose stage worked out well for the graduation of Police Academy. Lots of seating including many good locations for wheelchair users. A little bit nostalgic for this senior citizen - the little snack bar at the entrance reminded me of the old time theaters before the electronic signs and flashing lights.

Very poor treatment. The previous movie had a large crowd which I can understand needs major cleaning. However one staff member said those who bought tickets were free to go in and only purchase popcorn. A seperate staff member however told the ladies working the counter to turn off the lights. Looked at my dad and said No no. You listen to ME. All of you go outside while we clean. Everyone with the exception of a quarter of people were forced outside then turned the lights back on. In addition there was still plastic and popcorn in the theater.

On base at Miramar Marine Air Station. Very large theater like those of us old enough to remember the ones we went to as children.They have popcorn etc and rest rooms.Most enjoyable and wonderful to be in a big theater rather than the tiny ones out there now.

Nice theatre. Kids and I enjoyed Black Panther and snacks for just over $20.

This theater is better for lectures than for viewing movies. The screen is relatively small and the sound system is weak. The floor is not completely carpeted and so it gives a strange Echo. Oftentimes, theres a foul odor. On the other hand, its super cheap!

They display movies well into the future, ususally 1-2 weeks. MCAS Bob Hope Theater list showtimes for dates past, sometimes up to two weeks ago. Inexplicably MCAS Bob Hope will often only show movie schedules for a few days ahead. I don’t get that.

Going on the base is always good. Prices are cheaper. And the movie is just as good.

Grateful for their advanced screenings but Management talks so much that they dont ever start the movie on time. They also charge for movies unlike the other military movie theaters.

Great place to watch movies staff are friendly and most of all you cant beat the price. Love hanging out at the Bib Hope theater.

This location is on base at MCAS Miramar so if you do not have a military ID you cannot access it. It is $3/adult, $2/teen and kids 5 and under are free. The price is unbeatable. The concession doesnt have ridiculous costs like theaters out in town do. I recommend sitting in the front section because the screen is smaller that at a regular theater. But if you are concerned your kids might not sit well through the movie there is a sectiom further back that is not always congested. It is a great location if you are.on a budget. Their schedule is posted on their website. The price is worth it.

Good theater. Military only. Very cheap prices, even 3d movies. There can be long lines at the consessions. The theater gets movies a few weeks after release.

First run films toward the end of their run - cheap prices - friendly staff. The sound is good, but not to standards of commercial theaters (thats why four instead of five stars). It is restricted to military and vets, so find a military/veteran buddy to take you, and thank them for their service!

Older and smaller seats unfortunately, but cant complain for the price for admission and relatively low prices for concessions . Unbeatable value and much appreciated by military families. Expect lots of kids and babies, but its on a military base chock full of young families so its to be expected.
