We had the most amazing experience here. The comedians were just so good, so funny, and the venue is small and intimate so all around I would say best comedy experience in CA. We had a big group and they went out of their way to show us a good time. Hung out before and after for drinks. Everyone had great sets, just blown away by how good it was. I would highly recommend checking this our.

I literally read every bad review about this place before actually visiting. So here is the low down! We brought the Groupon deal for two which included covered the entrance fee.It is 2 items minimum purchase per person.The customer service is amazing from the jump! so are the hosts and hostesses!The food and drinks are a bit pricey but worth it.The comics can be both good and bad but that’s all part of the fun. You will laugh either way!Out of all about 8 comics about 2 were really bad but you can tell they were newbies so no harsh feelings there. Being our first time here, we will definitely return for the food and the good vibes. You’re doing great things here Rand!

Mannn I had so much fun at this place last night!! I’m front Corpus Christi Texas and came up here to visit a friend, and this place was definitely a wonderful experience !! The comedians were so positive and did an immaculate job !! My date and I even got roasted and that’s exactly what he was trying to avoid we were labeled as the “affair couple” by the need of the night & the fire hummus was exquisite omggg. Service was great too. I would definitely come back here next time I’m here ! Got these underwear here too.

Randomly decided to go see some comedy while passing through on our travels. Couldnt have been more thrilled with our last minute decision. Laughed the whole way through, and the relaxed setting meant we could drink and chat with the comedians afterwards who were all welcoming and great people..and funny too I guess ;)

This place was absolutely amazing! Rand (Manager) helped me and took really good care of is. The chicken and gravy meal was quite tasty. The waiters and staff was more than friendly and hospitable. I would definitely come back and highly recommend that people check this place out. The comedian that we saw by the name of Steve Hofstetter was truly funny!

Had a great time with Cheaper than therapy comedians last night, loved their personalities, jokes and atmosphere overall. And it is indeed cheap. Will definitely recommend to friends who visit CA.

This place is not too bad. Okay, so its not the Comedy Palace in West Hollywood but its not supposed to be.So, its pretty easy to get tickets. I always wind up getting tickets from friends but Im pretty sure you can just call them up. The tickets are generally two for one so grab a friend or date for some good clean fun out.On the show nights, there is always a line like getting into a nightclub. Why? Im not quite sure. Security does the usual ID check of all guests. I think its 30 minutes before show time they let people in and seat them.Once seated servers come around and take food and drink orders. There are per table minimums so come prepared to order at least drinks. I had food at this venue years ago and it was fine. I suggest going to dinner first and drinking.The MCs for the evenings have been different each time Ive been as is the performer list. There are usually 6-8 performers on a given night. Ive seen a lot of really good comedians here and always have a good time when Ive been. I mean who doesnt like to laugh?If youre looking for a good first date idea thats not just dinner and a movie this is a good one.

I must say, as a mature 59 year old man from New York, first responder to the world trade center attacks, Ive been to many restaurants of all ethical backgrounds, and I came into the comedy club as a stranger, and the owner George was just a caring and warm individual, his staff are all hardworking and on point with the customers needs. He and his family and staff work very hard to have a genuinely nice establishment for people to go to to simply have real fun and a great meal and reasonable drinks, from the parking lot to the bar or eating area, the kitchen, bathrooms,private rooms George has it all going on. You can certainly appreciate a good product when you see one and this place would be a regular place for me to visit just like a visit to home, because as you may not know now? But when you visit the comedy palace, they really do try to treat you like family. So if you have not been there to experience what Im saying? Dont cheat yourself, treat yourself and please tell them that johnny mustang sent you. You will thank me for the invite, great place to eat or see a show, plan an occasion for any one of your family or friends. Youll be glad you did. The comedy Palace hosted a fundraiser for our nonprofit call the spirit of the law Awards. We assist First Responders in the most difficult time of their lives. The owners and the staff of the comedy Palace were truly wonderful people. Every guest was treated like family, and they even donated to our charity. They have great Comics who go there the food is truly truly amazing I highly recommend you go there to eat. You will feel welcome to and have a great time. Just as we did

Its a small venue with several rooms. I got a free ticket from Eventbright, it came with a two drink minimum witch is perfectly fine. Every seat in the house is a good seat. I can respect the art of being a comedian and enjoy seeing them improve on their craft. I recommend you go, on a date or solo. Youre going to have a good time.... Oh yeah, some guy got a free falafel for stomping on a bug tonight. I cant make this up.

Staff was super friendly, appetizers and desserts were tasty (didnt have dinner). However, they couldnt turn on the stage lights when the comedian was on stage... took them a good 5-10 minutes to figure out the lights.

I came here with my girlfriend and my friend and we had a great time! The food and drinks are pretty good and the comedians are hilarious. I have been here a few times and I have never been disappointed by the line up!

Been coming here for a few months now and Ive never been disappointed by the service or by the shows. The food is amazing and authentic, the drinks are generous and well priced, show tickets are usually cheap in comparison to many other spots, staff is wonderful and I could go on and on. I always bring my friends here and will continue to do so. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Took my fiancee here on Saturday and we had a great time! All of the comedians had us laughing the entire show. The wings I ordered came out amazing and the beer was ice cold. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Awesome comedy club! Check their site for their different nights. Open mic is very different from their Friday/Saturday shows. The food is okay but you dont go to a comedy show for their food. Service is great at getting your drink order to you quickly.

Food and desert are great here. And even tastier once youve had a beer and some laughs. I recommend keeping up with them on Facebook for all upcoming comedy shows. its always a laugh here.

Review for the place (not comedians). Its a nice place. Nice ambience. The guy who runs it is great. He speaks to the audience himself for a bit before the comedian(s) take the stage and he is good.I didnt like the food a lot. I am vegetarian and there arent a lot of vegetarian options. The ones we did take didnt taste very good. Note that you are required to buy two items per person from the menu. Plus the tickets for the show (if you dont have a membership or a free pass). And they give out some free passes at the end of each show for upcoming shows.I would definitely go here again. Would just buy drinks instead of food.

I had a nice time. The host was very nice and friendly and the food was pretty good. The comedians were funny. The only confusing part was coming in. I parked in the back on the side and there is only one entrance in the front from what I could tell.

I had a really good time at this place on New years eve. The only setback was that we paid for a VIP event and there was not a VIP section and we were giving a bill for Drinks and it was included in the VIP package. Just needed to be a little bit more organized. The food was good.

My wife and I went with some friends on a Saturday evening, the 7:30 show. $20/person cover plus two item per person minimum from the bar and/or menu. The service was pretty good and we enjoyed the food (Rib-eye steak and a chicken Ceaser salad.) In addition to the house comic, there were six comedians, ranging from ho-hum to quite funny.

Entertainment was very good. Food so so. Drinks very good. Need air on bathrooms.

Good service. However the jokes where so dirty and to the extreme and made me and my friends feel very uncomfortable. We almost left and this really ruined the show. The restaurant service was great and the guy who was hosting was great but then again ruined it when he made a dirty comment close and well most likely not come back.

Saw a very good comedy show here. Food is ok, basic drinks are ok. Had an awful Irish coffee (came out cold) on a rainy night. Service is slow, so slow its hard to fulfill the two drink minimum during the show. Went to see a friend perform, would not go back unless I knew someone performing.

The doors were scheduled to open at 9:00, they didnt open till 9:30 when the shows was supposed to start.Be aware its a 2 item per person minimum!!! 3 people? 6 items minimum. Or they charge you for it anyway.The MC was ok, the entertainment was pretty good. Obviously not on par with the comedy store. But reasonable.

I love the comedy palace. Every time I go there I have a really great time being entertained laughing my ass off. I strongly recommend doing first dates here. You can find out if he has a sense of humor and he sit and behave...at least for the time being. Service is great and it has a chill vibe. Fun place :).

4/27/18 Friday night was super funny. It started out a little slow and each comedian was funnier than the next. I thought to myself hows this guy going to follow up the last guy but it happened. Great show, great wait staff and OK food. We will return for sure.

They had some funny people perform, but the whole place had this sort of creepy vibe. Drinks were good, maybe they were just having an off night. Id try them again sometime.

This place is wonderful. Spacious and well served. Came to see LA Collective, amazing music! How is it that San Diego gets such amazing talent at a bargain! The food and drinks were really good. Burger was cooked well, crispy lettuce, pickles, and mayo.

I had a great time with my friends. Food and drinks were great! Our waitress went out of her way to help us throughout the night. Atmosphere and setting was very ideal for a comedy club. Almost forgot about the comedians! They were hilarious! The headliner, Russell Hicks, will be famous very soon! Definitely recommend this place for a fun night out.

The comedians were great and we had a blast. The venue was frustrating for a couple reasons. We bought our tickets from the website and they charged an additional 8 bucks for that (on twenty dollars tickets). It wasnt made clear before that EACH person is required to buy at least 2 items. We each got a beer in a bottle and shared a plate of nachoes that was a actually really good. The waitress brought us our check and a beer we didnt ask for before the show ended and it came out to 40 bucks. So after tip we paid just over a hundred for the night. My biggest complaint is that we were literally forced to buy at least 4 things, and 8 dollar coors is unreasonable. Id go again with free tickets or if they lowered their prices.

Love this place. Weve seen a couple of comedians crash and burn, but even that is kind of fun. But most of them have been very good. Food is good too, and the folks that run the place are awesome. Its really easy to get too also, especially on a Saturday evening.

Terrible bar food available for the comedy show-- mostly fried food, not the day menu. The comedy itself varies widely depending on the performer: some nights are great, others are just a painful endurance until the headliner.

Laughter is the best medicine, espwcially when its free! Kind of... I know the drill, get in free with 2 item minimum. So I got me and my lady tickets to the show Sat night.They have the big main room, and the small back room. The comedians were great so Im happy with our decision. I dont know if its because we were last in line that we were sat in the back small room or because of the free but still spent $40 tickets.I would have prefered the choice since we were paying customers. Either way it was a fun night, amd I would go back. I will gwt more details before hand next time. Fun for a date night, food was decent. Parking was easy and good location.
