The drama was excellent! It was interesting and kept our attention. All the actors did a terrific job. It was a very fun show!I had the fish with rice - both were excellent. The cheesecake was amazing! The historic venue was such a wonderful surprise - I wasnt prepared for the Hearst Castle-like walls and ceilings. We were also fascinated by the vault meeting room and the huge vault door! The valet parking attendants were polite and well-trained. Such a blessing to have valet parking!WELL DONE!

My family and I went here together in the hopes of having a nice experience for the New Years. We stayed half way through (1.5 hours) and just couldn’t bear this any longer and ended up leaving early. The acting was atrocious and the food wasn’t much better. Most of the experience was these two guys just screaming the entire time. For almost $300 you would just expect a bit more...we went into it with zero expectations but for the price it was just a complete waste of time and money. This is an incredibly boring experience with people who ultimately don’t know how to act. It was a waste of our New Years. Please don’t waste your time and money here. The management here is super rude too when we let them know how we felt especially when we spoke on the phone the other day to express our concerns. The woman I spoke to basically wouldn’t let me talk and then went on an immediate rant about how highly rated they are and laughed at me saying no one ever complains about the show and didn’t listen at all to what I was saying then rudely hung up at the end saying to just email.

It was the most painful 3 hours we have experienced in our recent lives. We took our daughter on her birthday and we had to endure a great deal of bad acting and bad humor. If only they have a tighter script and better acting, it could be something there. Unfortunately not even an open bar can make us intoxicated enough to enjoy a single moment. Bummed as we actually enjoy murder mysteries ourselves.

I agree with worst ever. The food (chicken) was so tough I could not cut it with a knife! Just awful food. I do not write this as a vindictive customer, not my style. I can tell you NOT TO GO until they have drastically improved. PS remember to bring $5.00 for parking too...

The dinner was better than I expected. The location by the old bank vault was fun. You definitely need to go into this expecting lighthearted and cheesy comedy. There were multiple murders referenced when I was there but the instructions as to which murder(s) we were attempting to solve was unclear and resulted in an answer that was unsatisfying in that it didnt address the murder that was ostensibly the motive for the other murders. This could be easily fixed during the presentation. There was also a completely unnecessary joke that referenced a particular religion at the end by the mc when asking for people to review the experience. That should be eliminated if you want to appeal to a broad audience. Overall I think this is a good entry level experience of this type that is a fair value for the money.

This was something my wife and I always wanted to try. We are so glad we picked the Dinner Detective. I was apprehensive about a bunch of stuff. Food, environment, embarrassing moments (it is interactive). You name it.. I was out of my comfort zone. All that fear was totally unfounded. We had a fantastic time.We went with my wifes two sisters and really enjoyed the whole experience. Cash bar, ample tasty appetizers.. a little bit cheesy acting.. but in the end that is necessary to hide theplants in the audience from real volunteer participants.. and the dinner was really good. Downtown parking.. meh. But quite easy. We are doing this again soon. Really enjoyable evening.
