My cheeks are sore from smiling so much at last nights 10pm show. I was rolling out of my seat laughing the entire time. The highly talent troupe incorporated a lot of audience participation which added to the engagement and we particularly loved the improvised lighting and musical accompaniment.

Id you want a hilarious show for a great price this place is for you. Very heavy audience involvement and if you volunteer to be in the show you get a ticket to another show. Small venue, so buy tickets early in the day.

Old Town Improv Co is the best all-around improv spot in San Diego. The theater offers a diverse selection of consistently funny shows, as well as a wide variety of learning opportunities like classes, free workshops, youth/school programs, and corporate team building. They have family friendly shows and are right in the heart of Old Town. I strongly recommend it!

This place is hilarious! Ive been here a couple times and will definitely be going back. The cast was great both times I went quickly rolling with ideas given by the audience. The show is also affordable and in a nice area so before or after the show you can walk around.

This troupe is a relatively new one (compared to National Comedy Theater and Finest City Improv). They have some promise. A few members of the group are talented and there were quite a few laughs. The venue is small --- there are no bad seats. Their prices are a bit high for the one hour show. Finest City charges $12. We paid $17 for our Fri. night show. But I hope they are able to make it work.

I love this place so much. Where can you go to see truly funny comedy that you can take your whole family to.

Its a well run funny show

I love this theater. Not many places where you can see great comedy and get drinks in the area after like you can here. Saw the show point of passion and I highly recommended it for people who like improv or have never seen it before.

Place is small and cozy, but it is a good thing. The audience can participate and enjoy with it being small. Fun for the family. Staff us great cast is amazing always a great time

An evening of hilarity and fun! The size of the theater makes it feel like you are part of the show (and you can be if you choose to volunteer!). The host/emcee of the evening had a great energy which really connected the audience with performers. I havent laughed that hard at a live show in a long time!!!

Good-hearted fun with a group of performers who seem to be having just as much fun. Suitable for younger audiences.

Loved our experience! The owner was so friendly and even offered to let us use his personal parking garage since we foolishly thought we would find a space on cinco de mayo. The comedians were very genuine and approachable after the show. Great talent but even better personalities. Would definitely be regulars if we were local!

Each cast member has different humor and different deliveries, but they work together and can really make you laugh and have a good time. If you’ve never been to an improv show you should definitely experience it at least once, this one is a gem.

The troop assembled by Old Town Improv was fantastic - really enjoyed my evening at the club and will definitely come back. To boot, Donny the host was absolutely comical as well. Fun night enjoyed by all.

Loved it! Very good place to visit. There are ladies in the windows of the cantinas that roll and make flour tortillas from scratch. I actually had them he corn taquitos. They were very good. I was at Freds. Also, I really enjoyed the vibe and feel of Old Town. Its obviously a tourist trap but thats ok because I like sports like that that feature and concentrate the essence of the city youre visiting. The souvenirs werent deathly expensive and because I visited in Oct the weather was really nice. A little cool in the evening actually. My wife needed a sweater/jacket.The local handmade goods were awesome. One store was all about tin crafts, the next a tobacco store, then wood crafts store, etc. Many with latino motifs but some stuff was just sun and moon theme, garden theme, beach bar theme, etc.I think old town is a great place to visit. Check it out.

Our family had a great time here on a Saturday night. Lots of laughs and a small setting so you were really in the action.Great restaurant just across the street to have dinner before the show.

They went above and beyond to insure I was a happy camper! Great venue!

I love this place; I come at least twice a month.

Kinda funny. I laughed out loud a few times, but not as much as Id hoped. Pretty small venue & from the back row you see mostly the heads in front of you, but you can still see most of the stage. Theres no alcohol (so no two-drink minimum).

Im from out of town and found this place on Groupon! This place is small but perfect if youre looking for something low-key! The owner is super nice and made my boyfriend and I feel so welcomed!! The improv group was really funny and would definitely come here again!
