It was so amazing! They kept offering us cookies and hot chocolate. The park is actually a lot smaller then you think a park would be. Which is fantastic! Cause I thought there would be lots and lots and lots of walking like Fiesta Texas. Love the FREE parking! My daughter loved all the rides, unfortunately time didnt allow us to go on the train, but the petting zoo is always her favorite. She loves those chickens!

This is an amazing park for people with special needs. The entire park is accessible and all rides can be enjoyed by anyone. The staff was incredible and helpful to our family. The splash park was our favorite part of the trip. There were lots of different areas in the splash park and they had different themes and sensory experiences. I cant wait to go back. This is a must for anyone looking to give their child or adult a wonderful day!

Beautiful park. Coming from a small town in Texas, the family and I would literally dream of an all inclusive park like this. It is a very welcoming environment, many of the employees are special needs adults and make the park all the more enlightening and enjoyable. All the rides are wheelchair compatible and have room for one or more people to tag along. We made the visit in the fall so werent able to enjoy the water park! But seeing as how much my brother enjoyed himself that day we will definitely be visiting again in the summer!

My family goes every Halloween to this wonderful place. Admission is only $5 per person (or you can donate 4 canned goods per person before October 30 for free admission). There are rides and really great candy (which they give out in great abundance). Its a safe environment thats not scary so even little children can go. And of course the entire experience holds up the goal of Morgans Wonderland and is inclusive to EVERYONE! People with disabilities are welcomed and shown a good time. All the rides and experiences can be had by all.

A wonderful place to take the little ones to explore, enjoy rides, or test their senses on various hands on play areas such as the large water play fountain or the large metal pipes musical xylophones. There are also play areas, playground or sand boxes, that are monitored by staff to make sure everyone is safe and in case you have to look away for a minute. The different rides and even swings are wheel chair accessible as well to make sure everyone is able to experience the joy of participating in the Wonderland. Be sure to arrive early due to parking spaces filling up quickly.

We visited on Friday, March 6th, open 10-3. We arrived at 10:20am. It was $67 for our family of five (2 adults,3 children ages 3,5,8).  I debated whether to come here since nobody in my family is special needs but I thought it would still be enjoyable. Special needs people get in free. Theres 4 rides and a couple nice playgrounds and a fun house with a kids grocery store. My stopwatch confirmed that we waited for 45 minutes at each ride except our first ride of the day. It requires extra time for wheelchairs to enter rides. Im not complaining. I just want to share facts and a real experience to help others before they come. Special needs people get first priority even if theyre not in a wheelchair. We waited in line for the train for 45 minutes as well. Occasionally, a few people in wheelchairs come in line and get moved to the front (with up to 3 non-special-needs friends) and need extra time to get on. When we were about to board the train, a group of 20 special needs people not in wheelchairs and their carers came up and was able to go in front of us so we needed to wait for the next train. The small pre-school group of 7 in front of us had to leave their place in line because they were already late for lunch when the group of 20 was admitted in front of us. Next, We waited in line at the jeep ride but when it was almost our turn it stopped working and the ride was closed for the day so never got to ride that one. So went next door to the carousel but it also malfunctioned and closed for the day but it was our first ride of the day so we didnt miss it completely. My kids favorite part was the playground. We love visiting San Antonio annually so its great to try everything once but I would only come back with my grandma who is in a wheelchair. Im glad Morgans Wonderland exists. It is the first one like it. It is non profit and I think the price of our admission went to a great cause.

(Ill never forget years ago our son was told he couldnt ride a stupid little carnival ride because he was in a wheelchair. I wanted to throat chop the spoiled kid who was in charge of the ride.) None of that here... the staff exists to make sure those with special needs feel equal and even more awesome than us normal folk.We drove 6 hours and stayed in a hotel for just a few hours in this park... it was worth every penny and mile. 3-11-20 was my first visit to Morgans Wonderland with my four children, which two of them are boys & they have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The last three years my oldest son has required to use a wheel chair to get around and this is new for him because now he isnt able to walk as before. As a result he hasnt been able to enjoy life as much. Our family trips has been more challenging & it has reduced because MANY place arent designed with the special needs community in mind. Yesterday was such a joy for my kids because everyone was able to enjoy the same rides together, as a family. We no longer had to split up, so we can stay behind with my oldest son because he wasnt able to get on the rides. We will continue to go back and enjoy the park, the staff, & the food. We are excited to experience the water park in May& witness the development of Morgans wonderland! Thank you for a wonderful place for ALL to enjoy without prejudice!

Many of his Houston team mates did not come. So from these different cities they put a team together so these young boy didnt come for nothing. Its difficult to adapt with team mates you have never played with. But they did a beautiful job of it to come in second place. They won a trophy and metals. I was proud of each and every one of them for putting their effort and skills together to come in second. My grandson wanted first place. But pleased with his winnings.

My son absolutely loves the fishing poles they provide at the lake.... The staff is there to help you bait the hook and help if you actually catch a fish. My son absolutely loves it. We always go on the train ride, its fun. The playground area is shaded and the kids will play there for hours-they have some unique equipment. They have a water play table area which is fun on a hot day to cool off a bit. The carousel, the ferris wheel, and the cars that you drive around the track are also alot of fun. My wife recently took a field trip with her special education elementary classes to Morgans Wonderland. Her experience walking in was nearly indescribable as she was overwhelmed with excitement for everything the park had to offer. It is a park truly designed for individuals of all capabilities to enjoy themselves. The staff was friendly and included individuals with disabilities as well which was a positive reminder to parents that safe havens exist in which their children can truly be themselves. Everyone was willing to help and it was a beautiful thing to see their satisfaction in being able to assist people with anything they needed. During the visit they were able to meet with the owner who expressed great excitement for the up-and-coming water park that is currently under construction. The gift shops and stores were budget friendly. I know that it was truly a blessing from God for her, her students, and their parents to experience this place together. This is an amusement park for special needs and young children. Its the perfect place to teach a 5yr old to be kind. Having a one and three year old in tow it was perfect. The writing on the wall explains how it originated and why. They even had rides to accommodate wheelchairs. It was especially suited for Nana and the preschoolers. To combat the heat, there are 4 splash pads with different themes. A lazy train presents a scenic view of the entire park. Playgrounds are designed for fun and to prevent injury. The park opens at 10 am (I think) and closes at 7pm.Its much cheaper than the larger parks in the area yet offers much more to the younger crowd. The entire project is quietly sponsored by Toyota. So glad Im a Toyota owner. Food was cost effective and the employees friendly. The entire admission is viewed as a charitable donation. Loved the sideshow. I will return.

The concept on which this place was built is so beautiful and families with special-needs Im sure are very appreciative but unfortunately its not at all what I thought. It only has four rides and the only thing that I saw that was truly accessible for a person in a wheelchair was a swing and riding a train that gives you a tour of the theme park. I might be wrong but I absolutely did not see anything beside a swing that was available for a person in a wheelchair and if I had fully understood what I was going into a I wouldnt have gone. My daughter enjoyed herself but I was disappointed in the lack of options. Also for a park that caters to people with special needs its peculiar how many people just stare at the people with special needs. It would have been nice to go somewhere finally and not be stared at.

There are also amusement park rides that are appropriate for any age, but adapted where any handicapped person is able to ride and enjoy an amusement atmosphere.
