Nice trail. Fairly long. Stay right tho. Or youll get run over by the bicycles. The water in the creek doesnt look that great. I wouldnt let my dog take a dip in there..

It was great. Got runover by flying by bicycles at least every 50 seconds, really trains your reflexes. The trails are fairly narrow for the crazy amount of people coming here. Its like the Champs Elisee on a weekend.. my dog is terrified of the pretty large deer that hide in the bushes and just blatantly stare at you.

Trials arent wide enough for walking and bikes ..when walking you have to be in the look out for speeding bikesNice shaded area

Awesome spot to park to run, walk, bike or skate on the Greenway trail. I believe this spot is inaccessible currently due to construction on the roadway.

Busy trail! Great for walking, biking and even skating because of the continuous paved trail. Parking is a bit of beast during evening hours.

I visit this place a lot and like it here. Its really nice and shady on the trails from all the big trees so it keeps it cooler during the day. They have an interesting statue that I liked here. Also have water fountains which is really nice. Be careful here at night though, I had a very strange and possibly paranormal encounter here while walking alone!

Love this place! Mostly shaded area and paved. Just be careful of bicyclists. They tend to forget the area is shared.

This is a hidden gem on the N.E. side of town. If you like to jog, bike or have a nice area to take a long walk without going out of town this is your place.

Good walking jogging biking trail, has mile markers and maps with you are here arrows. Benches, trash cans, and a LOT of little lizards and wildlife.

With the exception of construction and occasional grass mower, this is a quiet trail. During the week its not too busy and it is patrolled every so often by San Antonio Park Police. I recommend this trail for either jogging, hiking, or biking.

Mostly shaded in the morning and late afternoon making it perfect for running or walking with children.

Go south from this start point and take in the flora and natural fauna. Spring time is great for foraging for morsels such as wild onion, dewberry, or honey suckle.

Nice place to start your run or your bike expedition. There is a water fountain for you and your dog. There is also a bike pump as well. Very accommodating park.

The trail goes on for miles and its a good place to bike and or walk, the people there are nice and there is also a big bridge that goes over a creek but instead of just crossing the creek it goes along with the creek so basically youre surrounded by water and there are cool bugs youll find.

Use to be nice, but trash from flooding and sewer maintenance stinks and has trails closed.

Nice trail with full shades

It was by mistake that we stopped here. My husband looked up nearby parks and saw this one on Google Maps. Unfortunately, we were unaware that it was being flooded by raw sewage due to nearby construction. We pulled in and turned around. We could tell that its normally a very nice park. The Pokemon Go app indicated its full of stops and gyms.

Good relaxing trails. Easy level for all ages

I enjoyed the trail and I love that it is so open. There are workout stations and the trail all together is about a mile. I would recommend it and it is well kept.

Sewer smell is terrible. Would be nice to have bathrooms with flushing toilets like McAllister Park instead of portapotties.Rarely see park police.

Closed as of 9-24-19 for sewer main repairs. It looks like the Salado Creek Greenway south of Los Patios closed down to the SAMMC area.

I started at riding this trail some time back with a friend really nice trail.

This place is simply wonderful if your plan is to get out of the house and connect with nature. Forest bathing is good for you and this trail is a great place to do it; beautiful, shaded, lush and lots of wildlife to see. Stay to the right. Most cyclists and runners announce themselves as theyre about to pass up the hikers/walkers

Good place to walk, run or bike. Not super crowded and never met any unfriendlies. Good chance youll see deer or other critters early morning or evening. Most of the trail is shaded making it pleasant most of the year.

Going from the Oakwell Trailhead towards Fort Sam I noticed some positive changes today. That terrible sewer smell is gone. I noticed concrete water runoffs and also still very much nature but cleaned out a lot along the walkway. Very nice. Thank you.

Great trail for cycling and finding nature close to downtown. Often see deer, squirrels and red cardinals along the track - wonderful.Would give it 5* but there is a lot, a really really large amount of plastic bag trash in the trees and along the creek. Dont Mess with Texas clean-up has been forgotten here - shameful with all the wildlife around

Easy access to the Greenway Trails, bathroom, free parking, but no water fountain. No playground either.

Stayed at the trail-head with 2 small dogs. Brought a picnic - stayed for hour. Wish I could have found those benches! This trail-head is wheelchair friendly including the portapotty. Very busy park at 5 pm Monday. Bicycles & hikers. Quite nice. Easy to find on google maps.

Great views and trails for bike riding

Great trail for walking, running, biking and nature watching. Distance is marked each 1/4 mile, and there is an occasional bench to rest if needed. Some trail heads have porta potties, stocked more time than not.

Awesome park well groomed, populated, and the grounds crews roam around. I have been there about 15 times so far and about 9 times i have seen a police rover running around. Very awesome to go walking on my lunch break and lovely outdoors place in the middle of the city.
