The only reason Im giving this place two starts is because the kids that was working upstairs in the skating ring was actually polite. The owner (I believe) was very rude since we got here. The girl that was working at the front seem like she hated her life and everything in this world. I believe that if you have a business always remember that the customer is who pays your bills and if you want them to come back make sure they have a good experience. Customer service 101 is very much needed in this establishment.

This place was great! My children had a great time! We did a little bit of it all! Lots to offer for the family! The place looks great! Very clean and well kept! The staff was very friendly. The new carpet upstairs looks excellent and the food was really good as well!!! If you have a family and they like to all sorts of things gets the wristband for it all. Definitly worth the trip to take the kids!!!! The will have a blast!!!!

Awesome time

Cool spot in a cool location. I got to get the behind-the-scenes tour and it was awesome to see and hear about the history that facility has. They have done some amazing things with updating, lighting, and colors! So much to do there along with the roller skating; the lazer tag arena is huge and so is the soft play play area. Plenty of seating at their snack bar. Definitely worth the visit!

It’s an overall great place to be I have a lot of fun there with my friends we made so many memories there all the times I have fallen and I pulled them down with me and all the times they have picked me right back up but everything there is amazing

Place is kind of run down. Not enough help to go around or know what they are doing. Prices are way to high for the establishment. Paid for my daughter and I to skate, didnt get to skate, also didnt get our money back. Not worth the hour drive !

Had my grandsons first birthday there yesterday was a great place to have it if you have a big family go here the staff is awesome and the prices are great everyone had a blast of all ages

I took my daughter here to see Poppy and Branch shes 2 1/2 years old and was beyond excited! But as time went on they practically chased us around as my 20 year old step daughter went in the tunnels to help her and said she wasnt allowed in with our toddler, and told her to leave that area entirely, then my eldest daughter tried to just go stand in the bounce house to ensure the safety of our toddler and they made her get out of there, then we went back to the tunnels to let or little one play some more and as I look over inside the tunnels theres an adult with her toddler around 20 something and nothing was said! I was seeing red! This staff member was so scared of the male owner to get in trouble she had to keep saying petty things! And apologized many times for it! The male owner told me to get my teen daughter out of things and never once! Asked us! or her! Her age! And waited for us to leave and re-approached her to tell her to stay out as my husband and I walked away! I will never go back here or recommend this place to anyone! Ever! They were rude and have poor management skills!

Salem fun factory is a great place. Workers are very polite. Yes there are rules but there are rules at all roller skating rinks For everybody safety. I have been bringing my kids and their friends to Salem roller Rink For two years now no problems with anybody yes it can be busy on Friday and Saturday night but it is that way at all roll a rinks . All the prices are reasonable and my kids have fun every time they go I give Salem fun Center an A+.

Went today with my 3 and 1 year old to let them have some fun, $34 for them to play downstairs and for the 3 year old to skate with her father. Way too pricey for what they have to offer. On top of that, i had to wait in line for 15 minutes (with no one in front of me) before the 3 people behind the counter to acknowledge me, one of the girls wasnt even doing anything other than talking to the other. Once I was finally approached I was told I would have to wait another 10 minutes for pizza because although they had 3 pizzas done at their counter and 1 that had already had slices taken out I was told they were all for a birthday party. Staff was rude, certainly not worth the price at all.

We held a combined birthday party for our granddaughters and they and their friends had so much fun skating and playing lazer tag. Thanks to the awesome crew for a marvelous job.

Had my daughters Birthday party here and great service from waitresses. Kids had fun playing in the various areas and skating. Only thing I can think of is that off about having a party here is you only have 45min to 1hr in the party room for the kids to have pizza, open up gifts, have ice-cream & cake. Kinda felt rushed to get it all done in time. Also booked party from 2-5pm but didnt tell us till today they close @ 4 on Saturday.

People that work there treat you like people and the owners are exceptional. Love the security also. I could leave my granddaughter there and feel secure that she is safe and in good hands. Wouldnt go to any other place.

Wow. Rude staff and the place is a mess. Dirty, smelly, limited arcade games (half were out of order), and the skating rink floor was ruff.The owner/manager was extremely rude over a 4.00 blow up toy. Threw a fit like a 2 year old. Then argued with us over the time it says they close online. Not professional at all.My kids used to love this place when it was The Fun Factory, it is a shame.

Amazing fun and exciting place!!!

This is a great way to make new friends and to get better at skating. And there isnt just skating there is laser tag, bouncy house, and games. In conclusion if you are looking for fun activities go here.

Rude service and they give out free card to the school for free skate or play area. Then we get there and they tell you youre children have yo be under to certain height to play in play area but dont put any of that information on the card so when you get there you have to detail with rude service and a heart broke children. Horrible place. Will never go back!

Nice staff, older facility. Yesterday was my first time there. You can tell that they are trying to keep the building interesting to the under-13 crowd. Its unique in that the skating floor is on the second floor of the building. There were several of those ticket-type games but only a few near the floor. The others are in a separate room, which is nice.In my opinion, any skating rink should be centered around the skating floor. Its what Id consider a smaller floor, but still very usable size. Unfortunately, the floor itself needs some attention. Its heavily waxed in the outer parts, hardly at all in the inner section. The need of care is very evident when comparing the center of the floor to where skaters usually travel. It looks like 2 different floors. In some spots, there were chunks of wax chipped out but then just sealed over, making skating difficult due to the uneven surface. The whole thing needs sanded down and re-sealed. If the floor were in better condition, Id give it 5 stars. All that being said, my skate wheels came away after a 2 hour skate much cleaner than places like the Skate Zone in Austintown. That tells me that the floors and carpet are cleaned regularly.All in all, Id go back.

Not a bad little place! Used to go there when I was younger, infact I D.J.ed there at one point. Pretty good place for kids, with a little play area and bounce house.The owners are very polite, and theyll usually try their best to help you with any problems you may have! They get a bad rep here and there because of some peoples actions, but I mean listen. You cant blame a whole place for something just for something a couple people have done. The owners are very polite, and responsible and are usually quick to resolve any issues that DO occur.. Its been quite some time since Ive been there, so they probably changed ALOT. But if theres one thing I really knew about the owners, they were always some of the most kind hearted people!On a side note, the food was great too! I used to always buy a pitcher if pop and a pizza and just have a great time with my friends before we skated! Lots of great memories attached to this place, and i recommend going whether you go as a family, on a date, or just in a group with friends like I always did!(just do not cause trouble!)

The girls and I had a blast spending the day here!!!! Theres so much fun stuff to do with the kids. And Im not going to lie, I had fun myself and Ill be 28 on June 2nd lol. Makes you feel like a little kid again. And I WISH this is what the skating rink was like when I was a child cause I went skating in Salem at this same exact skating rink every single weekend, for every lock in, and every other chance I got. It definitely makes my childhood memories of skating here seem a little dull, although at the time, I thought there was nothing more fun to do.I would give it 5 stars, but the only thing I didnt like about our day spent at the fun factory was the fact that I spent literally almost $200 for a few hours (I want to say 2 hours) of fun for 3 little girls (only 2 of them being mine). We did end up getting the unlimited wristband for all three girls and then I had to pay for skating for my Fiance and I so we could skate with the girls because theyre still really young. But, had I not purchased the unlimited wristbands, we wouldve paid twice the amount to get into the bounce house, laser tag (if we did have time to play, which we didnt), skating and in the play area with the slides, tunnels, and other fun toys/things for kids. If you dont buy an unlimited wristband you have to pay separately for each individual activity. We also bought a pizza and drinks during our day filled with fun and of course tokens to let the girls (and Drew lol) play games and win tickets to exchange for prizes. Which Im happy to say they all 3 got to pick out close to the biggest prizes you can win and had a prize to take home. We ended up winning more tickets than I wouldve ever thought possible, but we also spent like $60 to do so.Overall, I freaking love this place and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for something kid-friendly and fun to do with their little ones. BUT I would also add that they need to be prepared to take a decent amount of money with them, or only choose one or two activities to let their kids do for the day. Also, I would recommend with younger kids to not purchase the skating tickets/all day pass cause if theyre younger, theyre going to have a blast downstairs rather than upstairs skating, and there honestly isnt enough time from open to close (2-3 hours) to skate AND do everything else downstairs.FURTHERMORE, just in case anyone doesnt know....Wednesdays at the Fun Factory is FREE skating every week!!!!! I found this out by accident, because although I purchased tickets for Drew and I to skate with the girls, we didnt end up having time to skate after doing everything else downstairs. So, I took my two girls back to the Fun Factory again just to skate that day, and while Im trying to hand the lady my money to pay, she informed me that EVERY Wednesday is free to skate. Overall, I suppose $200 one day and $0 a week later somewhat evened itself out. Somewhat lol. BUT....again beware of Wednesdays with younger children cause Id guesstimate around 200 other people were already informed that skating on Wednesdays was free. So the rink was super packed, but the girls still enjoyed their day and that was the purpose. So all in all...everyone ended up satisfied at the end of the day
