The park was nice and had a basketball court, baseball diamond, and what might have once been a soccer field. There was a rather large play structure. The only thing missing was restrooms.

We spread out a couple of hammocks between the giant oak trees and hung out for a while. Nice relaxing spot.

It seems to be an after thought, the fields are low and covered with standing water. The play equipment is too high for adults to sit on. While they did put in a sidewalk to make it more accessible, it seems as though the thought of people actually using it hasnt been embraced. Royal Oak has some wonderful parks this its not one of them.

I mean lets be honest, full court basketball is full court basketball. Even if the rims are not the best and the net is a chain on one end and non-existent on the other. Thats all I go there for, but there is also baseball diamonds, a big open field that Ive seen people play soccer at, and a playgroundFMOI: @joeyshyordieAdd on snap: @joey_shy123

It is a swamp. We have had a dry spring and it is still wet. Great large park otherwise.

Our neighborhood park. Nothing done to it in many years. No new woodchips (just dirt now). City has millions to give to developers downtown, but no money to maintain neighborhood parks. Sad.
