Nice little playground. Hidden trails running behind the partk are nice and wooded. Trails were marked, but not fully cleared ( lots of leaves).

A quiet, wooded park. The trails are well marked and theres at least one bench along the trail to rest at. During heavy rains the park can get pretty flooded but if you dress accordingly it makes for some pretty good pictures (for a much better photographer). Plenty of flora and fauna in this small patch of woods; deer, squirrels, skunks, ducks, bluejays, robins, wildflowers and mostly hardwood trees. There is a large pond at the north end of the park, this was actually created by a scout troop. This pond and the flooded areas do become spawning areas for large amounts of mosquitos, I strongly recommend applying bug spray or whatever you do to repel the things. They will fly into your face with total abandon. Good luck, have fun

No Dogs allowed, brought mine anyways. Just be mindful of picking up your poop, and keep them on a leash, and there shouldnt be a problem. Nice to enjoy in the fall with all the leafs. The path was kind of hard to follow, but not too hard to find.

The play structure is great! Our granddaughter loved the while thing and we felt secure in the safety and cleanliness. This is a fun, small park and we really enjoyed it.

A beautiful woods with trails maintained by volunteers. Only problem, like all of the City of Royal Oak, loud race cars that go unchecked by a city. The sweet sounds of birds and the chatter of squirrels is drowned out by the roar of Dodges and Fords and Harleys that come off the assembly line with exhaust systems that roar at 130 decimals.

Nice quiet park with shaded playground. Trails are not as well maintained (overgrown to the point that some trails you arent sure are actual trails at first) but quiet and lots of space to wander and relax. Bring some bug spray.

Nice park. Very muddy in the fall/spring though and sometimes people leave their trash there but it does get cleaned up.

Hard to find the trail entrances. Parking is on the street. Enter through the meadow behind the playground or at the other end near some benches. Small park. Flat but watch your step for tree roots and mud. Good place to take a curious 4-5 year old on a “hike” with playground as a treat afterward. My husband and I were looking for afternoon escape from a hotel room and while it was ok it really didn’t fit the bill.

Nice family park for young children, and natural walking trails for those interested in a wooded getaway in the suburban jungle.

Cute tiny park with a T-Rex springy thing. The park itself is pretty tiny, but the best part by far is the small nature trail behind it. Just make sure it hasnt rained in a while if you want to go back there since it gets really muddy like soup.

Fun little park for taking kids on a short hike in the wilderness. I didnt want to take my 2 year old on the longer trails for fear of him wanting to be carried half way through. Easy to follow trails which are lined with sticks/fallen trees. Multiple routes you can take so you can get some variation. You wont need sunscreen on the trail but maybe some bug spray. Well maintained trails, nice little kids playground ar one end.
