Nice park, right off Azalea drive. Lots and lots of free parking (but can get full too). Avoid parking around peak office hours (due to traffic light to get out). Also mosquito issues FOR SURE, so bring a bug spray every time. Walking trail that goes along the river and even under hwy 9 (no need to get on road)...

Theyre taking Temps before you enter during COVID-19 which makes me and my family feel good. The water park is wonderful for young kids to run through; both of mine loved it. The downside right now is the construction going on behind the park which has a septic smell to it. No deduction though as this is temporary. In addition to the water park there is a great dry park (2actually) to play on 5-12 years old and then another for older kids. I was very impressed.LASTLY there is a wide open field to play in in front of an amphitheater which is great for recreationL play, workouts, etc.

Great park with tons of things to do for all ages and interests. Clean, well laid out, accessable. My family and I checked out Food Truck Friday and it was awesome. Live music, great music, tons of people, and good energy. There were a few great playgrounds, for kids of different ages. Woodchips surfaced. Lots of paved trails around the center of the park, and trails that connect to other parks. We only saw a small part of this park and it was awesome. Well surely come back, and soon.

Checked e website to be sure that the water splash area was open. Everything said the park was open. NOT!!! The splash area was closed and not available. Big fail on the parks side for not noting on their website that this was the case. There were quite a few others that had children that also has come to splash. Otherwise it looks like a nice place. They are having a lot of vendors and music today. Some very disappointed grandchildren, and grandparents after driving quite a ways to get here.It least note these things so people can plan accordingly.

I really enjoy the park! It has a large playground area for kids and also a large area for walking your dog. The Park allows access to both the Chattahoochee River and the Big Creek. Fishing is decent here and I believe there is also a water park here.

Ni
Review №51

Best for very little toddlers or elementary aged children. I find it very stressful with a 2 & 4 year old. Some of the playground equipment is just not well suited for toddlers who *think* they can be independent. It’s dangerous unless you constantly follow them around and that’s just not fun. I do love and enjoy their splash pad. Only downside to that is that day care centers often bring tons of kids there at once and it gets very crowded.

Great for riding your bike, going for a walk, or a run. It will sometimes flood after a large rain event, but there are trails leading from here that dont normally get flooded that you can still use. Great playgrounds for kids too with a water park nearby.

This is a really cool park! There is a wide oval grassy part in front of a large amphitheater for an audience to watch a concert or just to picnic or have little kids run around and play. Theres also a nice little water are for hot summer days and then a typical playground for slightly older kids. Perfect place to spend an afternoon at, as there are also easily accessible walking trails. I saw a concert here and the sound system and seating were very good.

Went on a cool but lovely weekday, after some hard rain over the weekend. We put a waterproof blanket in the grass so we could be in the sun and enjoyed a simple picnic. The smaller playground was great for the 2 year old and his little brother, but Id say we were fortunate the day was cooler, as they only have 2 of the swings that are for the little ones. The slides and ladybug were hits, as well as the seated spinner. We tried to walk out the boardwalk to the river, but there was a huge mud pit full of water between the end of the walkway and the river platform. Watched a large turtle under the standing water next to the boardwalk for a while. The restrooms were open and clean enough. We were fortunate to have only a few other kids there, probably due to the cooler springtime temps. It was lovely. Id think it might get chaotic with more kids, but definitely worth a try!
