Heritage park consists of a small playground and pavilion, boat ramp, the historic and beautiful Robert Redden footbridge and part of the riverside walking trail system. It seems like they never open the bathroom at the pavilion. The lookout over the rivers is taped off since it is dilapidated. Rome should repair the overlook, as that would be a lovely vantage point. It is nice along the river, but with its location, it could be spectacular.

Visited this park today as a community involvement project for work. We showed up in a fairly large group with the intention of picking up trash...wow...totally unnecessary. This park was probably the cleanest park Ive been to in as long as I can remember. We managed to fill maybe a whole bag worth of trash between the 25ish people that showed up.Very well maintained, great little walk with a nice river view and clean! Nothing like the parks where Im from. Great job Rome, GA!

Quiet secluded with no bathrooms to do your do at. Gazebo over ran by someone that doesnt need to be there. The other guys are really nice and polite.

Fun time. Kids enjoyed it. Just wish there was more shade over the playground for the kids.

While the park does not offer much in the way for younger children like my toddlers (one small playground), there is a lot of open space, ballparks, a pavilion and picnic shelter, bathrooms, a beautiful view, friendly people, and history. The bridge is definitely worth the trip alone, to see all the love locks and momento mori locks for lovers past and present, as well as commemorating lost loved ones. The park offers baseball and soccer fields, boat docks and fishing. Conveniently located within walking distance of Broad Streets many restaurants and shops.

Great open park located at the confluence of the Etowah, oostanaula, and Coosa rivers. This park offers football fields, tennis courts, boat ramps, hiking, and a nice paved trail. Note the large mound of dirt lining the river. This is a levy and was erected in the late 1800s to reduce flooding in downtown Rome, Ga.
