Beautiful spot for a quick visot while in Rome. The tower is beautiful. The surrounding gardens are quaint and peaceful. The distant view is nice too. The surrounding neighborhood is so beautiful and historical. We really enjoyed stopping in.

One of Rome Georgias most recognized landmarks.Sitting high on a hill in East Rome historical district surrounded by beautiful old homes and beautiful gardens. The gardens are a haven for birds,bees and butterflies. Great place for a leisurely stroll or just to sit and relax. No picnic tables but bring a blanket or there are several benches to sit and enjoy your lunch.

Only the first weekend of each month is the clock tower is open to the public.

Its pretty neat to see everything from the top. I hate heights though.

Beautiful tower that was water-tower, then converted to clocktower after the Civil War. It is on top of a hill with beautiful views of Rome, GA and its surroundings. It is now a museum that is open for very limited times. It is open only first Saturday May-October between 12-1:30 pm. I got their at time of their closing. Managed to take picture inside before they closed, but could not go up the 107 steps or so to the top where I assume views are even much better than from the base.

One of the most beautiful places to visit near Broad Street. The garden around it is incredible and the maintenance of this spot is top notch.

Nice view pleasure to visit

Ive always wanted to check it out but just never got around to it. Finally went and there is scaffolding all around it and caution tape so I missed that chance to see the inside. Instead we sat under the tree to watch sunset and its very relaxing. I would love to see it from the top. That area of Rome is very pretty.

I was in Rome Georgia own business and decided just to stick around an extra day to see the sights. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble on this little Jewel! Its in the middle of town and the few is just spectacular!

There is a lot of history here, Rome is a great place to see small town charm and see some southern history.

The clocktower in rome,Ga is one of my favorite places to go. From time to time i have taken a girlfriend there to enjoy the scene and its always clean and the view is just incredible

Its a large clock tower. It plays the Westminster tune. At times there are tours of the clock tower. Currently it is being re- bricked.
